Sedna helps reduce the number of emails you receive through Activity Chat, and it streamlines the email process by enabling workflows. It also offers a lot of flexibility when it comes to customizing how you organize your workspace.

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

Not being able to delete emails can be inconvenient at times.

**What problems is Sedna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sedna resolved the issue we were having with receiving too many emails. It’s been beneficial because it helps us spend less time reading messages that aren’t meant for us, and more time actually getting our work done.

It is very comfortable for working in a team and sharing information, comments, or actions.

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

It still has some aspects that need improvement, especially in the automation rules that, for example, Outlook has.

**What problems is Sedna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greater flow of information among employees. More control over emails. Be able to share messages without having to forward them and thus create duplicate emails and congest the storage of mailboxes.

**What do you like best about Sedna?**

Hands down, the most helpful aspect of Sedna is the chat feature. Clear, concise internal conversations that greatly minimize emails in your inbox.

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

The user interface is a little cumbersome, but mostly because my team is unfamiliar with the platform and there are some kinks to work out.

**What problems is Sedna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sedna reduces needless emails that typically flood your inbox. This reduces the need to constantly delete and move to folders. Also, with the archiving feature, no email is ever deleted for good and can always be retrieved.

**What do you like best about Sedna?**

High-speed searching tool, easy to find messages by looking for the keywords.

The tags are a great feature to help you find related messages and to share the bookmarks is a plus when you need to hand over the shift to a colleague.

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

For now the only downside is to attache an email to a message, it only goes as a Link and not as an attachment. 

Some people are hesitant to click on links for security reasons.

We use sedna as our main tool for communication with all stakeholders on our daily routine.

The workflow is fast and easy to use. Tagging system helps a lot with internal communications as is the comment system. Text formating is quick and easy as well

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

The screen real estate can be optimized far better. Scaling of the tabs and mail fields can be improved in order to be customazible. Saved searches / bookmarks can be left a lone after all :)

Shipping sphere has a huge communication on a daily basis on huge variety of vsls and voyages. Sedna and its features helps a lot by the way it works around those issues.

SEDNA is an excellent tool representing an all-in-one solution to your (our) business. As a shared mailbox, you have everything in place, accessible by anyone within the company.

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

One of the most significant disadvantages of SEDNA is that it needs a bit of training on how to be used as it is not like the ordinary mailbox to use all the features and its full potential.

SEDNA solves one of the most significant issues with sharing emails and information in general, making it as easy as a-b-c just by the "tagging" function, thus forwarding of same becomes unnecessary

**What do you like best about Sedna?**

Quick and accurate search function saves you tons of time and tagging your colleague or just simply sharing it prevents sending duplicate emails which helps a lot in decreasing your email traffic.

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

Editing function needs a bit of an improvement as it's still lagging behind that of MS Outlook. Some more fonts need to be added to provide more options for different occasions.

**What problems is Sedna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't need to forward the email to relevant colleague(s) wondering whether he/she has seen it, whether it's relevant to his/her job, and whether I've missed out anyone who needs to read it. I can just simply tag it or leave a comment which saves me a lot of time.

**What do you like best about Sedna?**

Good workflows and transparency on mail communication. Easy commenting and discusing within the team before sending out. Easy to catch up after days off or vacation times.

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

Bit laggy at times. Need to be fluent with some common features to get full benefit. Issue with dragging mails out of it and uploading in different plaforms. Handling of attachments is not great - need to download and open with native app.

Solving issue when few team members working on same mail and replies cross. Reduces mail flow and made work more productive and increased performance giving more time to focus on real work and not communication

The archive is easily searchable and accessible. Emails can be quickly sorted by relevance to me

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

The way it works does not allow for auto-reply that you are out of the office, so the counterparties do not know who to call if urgent.

Having all emails for the team in one place means no emails are missed. Accessing the archive is quick and search engine is pretty good

Search Function is the best thing, also smooth ops and absence of any slowness, blockages, etc. User-Friendly Software. Comments options in each msg are a great function.

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

I need also: Dark Mode available, Unread msgs in Bookmarks to be easily visible (at first glance); Easy switch between /Archive, Send, Draft/ when we are in some od the buckets  (Those options are available for bookmarks ONLY); Auto CApital Letter when starting new sentence; Attachments (Word excel files) to be editable once attached to the msg (now we can only view it); MObile version to be improved.

**What problems is Sedna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Generally, Sedna is solving:
- the forwarding of the msgs and reducing the amount of traffic/msgs in between the different departments/users
- Quick Serch functionality is helping a lot.

If users don;t use tags then it is not so easilt referncable. I don't receive a noticeable alert when someone tags me. Could incopeorate a better chat function

**What do you like best about Sedna?**

I find the search functions in Sedna very useful which makes my daily work a lot easier. I also enjoy the tagging options to get the relevant PIC's attention easily and other activity functions (eg read timings etc).

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

sometimes the auto tagging is not allocating the email to the correct voyage or sometimes also multiple voyages. It would be great if this could be improved further.

**What problems is Sedna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me manage my daily routine email tasks better because it is a lot easier to only see relevant emails with remaining job tasks, all others can quickly be filed away. But they still remain easily available in case of need at a later stage.

**What do you like best about Sedna?**

Quick search, web-based so can access from anywhere as long as I have Chrome. Enables all team members to have access to same emails/notes wherever they are in the world.

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

When I try to print the emails, it doesn't come out as neat as MS Word document or Outlook email. Lacks variety of fonts and document editing options. Cannot set my own(customized) default fonts.

**What problems is Sedna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer need to forward emails from team email inbox to personal inbox to share with colleagues sitting in different offices and search function is a lot faster than previous team email provider.

Filters to extract important emails and saved searches to minimize the email flow, which actually increases my efficiency in responding to the priority emails quicker

Email traffic comes with a latency, there should also be a comments tracking section for saved searches

Fast search, fast tagging, fast sharing. Good integration with other systems, no need of message filing and recording, all is just in the server with one click and serach

Sometimes it is lagging, slow and sometimes we have problems with the syncronization and information flow between servers and web explorers dependancy is also bad sometimes

it is very fast and very user friendly, the developers are constantly adding new stuff and new optionalities. It is modern and appearance is also good. Highly recomended for shipping biz

The search ability is the best part of Sedna. Being able to filter through tears of message sun a moment.

**What do you like best about Sedna?**

You cannot alter anything and thus you are bound to the structure of the programme, which - finally - is helpful since all colleagues have the same and the work gets standaised.

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

In the first instance I did not like that I could not alter the view to what I was used to before. But after a couple of days, you get used to it and it works out. It relieves that everybody else cannot change anything, too.

**Recommendations to others considering Sedna:**

It is very handy and easy to use. After one week you had adapted the system.

We were used to have a separate in-house filing programme which is not required any more. This in-house saves capacities, lowers workload and makes the filing standardised.

Using key words to find easy what you are looking for.

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

If there is only a wrong word typed, Sedna isn't able to find what we want as it doesn't associate with the most similar word as an option to help you to find what you're looking for. If you don't type exactly what is written on the subject, for example, Sedna doesn't show anything.

**What problems is Sedna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most of the time I have to find emails quickly when I have someone holding on call waiting for an answer and I can find the message I want quicker and easier using Sedna.

The tags, Comments, the very accurate and fast search bar, and the easy option to find messages selecting the following: from, tags, to, subject, etc.

Nothing at the moment. From using other email platforms in the past, I could say that Sedna is by far the best.

**What do you like best about Sedna?**

We chose Sedna to get a system for collaboration email that had to be fast and easily accessible. It won both the goals in the first place and furthermore we found features helping us reducing the burden of our communications, speaking of internal sharing, comment threads, attachments resharing via link, to name just a few of them

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

Nothing that I really dislike, maybe the iOS app doesn't have the same experience you get in the browser on your computer. Btw I know they working on it

**What problems is Sedna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a real solution to collaboration email, enabling people spread across the globe to efficiently cooperate on every single message. It also helped us cut down the volume of internal emails, avoiding long chains of reply/forward back and forth by just sharing the message with a specific department and in case, starting a comment thread over it

The easy way to link emails to a vessel.

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

New changes have been very radical.
In case if same vessel with diferent ref. numbers, it isn't easy to link email with voyage if you're not sure about ref. number.
To don't have the option to edit signatures in case of using different email addresses.
Don't having the option to program sending time as is Outlook.

Time for solving problems is very fast , but with new updates a lot of things have changed. It's stressful to change the way we work depending on every update. And no, my business performance haven't improved.

It has been the best system for sorting a mountain of emails!! For sorting emails and information, it has been easy to flag, sort, catgorize and archive all incoming info!!

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

Some emails are incorrectly tagged and creates confusion and ultimately ends up causing time loss. Having to multiple tag items just to make sure that the email is put in the correct trade.

**What problems is Sedna solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that Sedna has helped to solve is that our team is able to see everything happening within on group and we are able to quickly collaborate within the office.

Quick sharing of emails across teams, cutting down the forwarding etc.

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

Just wondering, is the positioning of the preview button for attachment fixed? It was so much easier to preview attachments in the past as the 1st button we can click to preview already. Good to have download button but maybe as the middle / 3rd button instead of the 1st button pls?

Not sure if fellow colleagues feel the same but just quick feedback from my end.

Very easy and streamlined client + briliant search engine. Also the tagging system makes raising a flag to other users easier than ever and allows communcation around the email.

At times client starts to be slow but not sure if same due to client or our company servers. Also dont like the 2 huge gray areas when composing email which is loss of screen real estate.

Solving the problem of large qtty communications within a huge team. Also allowing for common info all teams which was before not possible. + easy access to old communications.

easy searching helps me a lot, Sedna is super fast at any time, I did not face any issues with her. i like sharing messages from all teams and then easily follow them in my mailbox

it will be great if there is a way to trace your sent messages, for example, I find it difficult to follow all messages that have been sent today because when I receive the response the message is not tagged with my name. It will be great if all messages that have been sent automatically tag you when you receive the response.

**What do you like best about Sedna?**

The most helpful are different search options which allow you to find even an old info you're looking for in just a few seconds. Another helpful tool is possibility to share any msg with a team or tag a particular person instead of resending the e-mail and at the same time having possibility to add comments.

**What do you dislike about Sedna?**

Actually after having used Sedna for abt 1,5 year don't feel any downsides. The transition period is a bit difficult since the whole concept is different from the standard mailbox but with time you get used to it and realise how beneficial it is.

Definitely recommend

Sedna helps to save time and become more productive. Also it helps with smooth transfer of the workload during holidays and sick leaves. It improves communication.

The fact that is on a website instead of a stand alone program, sometimes its hard to swap from a program to internet tabs.
