facadetool turns a single facade photograph into a clean, perspective-corrected elevation drawing ready for CAD and BIM, in minutes rather than hours. Upload any facade photo from the street, a site visit, or an archive. The pipeline automatically rectifies perspective, segments architectural elements, reconstructcts occluded lines, and removes transient objects like people, cars, and trees. Download as DXF or PNG, with optional real-world scaling via a single reference dimension. Architects, heritage teams, facade engineers, surveyors, contractors, and students use facadetool across early-stage design studies, measured surveys, refurbishment documentation, shop drawings, competition submissions, and quantity take-offs. **What do you like best about facadetool?**

The app is very easy to use. It requires no specialized knowledge or experience. A simple uploading of a photograph allows pretty accurate outputs in the form of vectoral drawings that can later be processed and refined in other image-processsing, drafting, and modelling media. It is thus quite practical on the field and allows for rapid processing on site. The pricing is pretty affordable and quite worth it, considering the time gained. The developer responds quickly to additional queries and is generous in return. The app makes use of AI in a measured way, while managing to overcome the shortcomings of other equivalent, AI-based interfaces -- such as hallucination and/or lack of accuracy.

**What do you dislike about facadetool?**

Library format can be improved. A preview option before final processing would also be helpful in terms of making adjustments to the image or the output.

**What problems is facadetool solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were having a hard time producing single-line technical drawings of cultural heritage sites at risk, but now we can document our project sites with accuracy and ease. The app also makes it possible to capture not only ideal conditions, but also varying degrees and forms of damage and wear.
