We'd have to manually print/reprint badges as needed for on-site registrations or to make edits. Expo Pass made all of these issues go completely go away. My only issue that I've had while using Expo Pass is that uploading the attendee list into the system (because we use another website for attendees to register for our event) is very touchy. It usually takes me a few tries to get the list perfect for the system to take it and I would love to have a template to use for this. But it's not a make or break issue for me. We used 3 iPads and 2 printers and it looked really nice and professional. What do you dislike about Expo Pass? I would say that badges after 2 days could get worn up or curved. A few attendees have asked us to re-print those badges. I’ve used a few different platforms over the years (and sat through many, many demos), and I haven’t seen anything that compares. You can instantly print attendee badges (or have attendees print them themselves, though we’re very white glove with our process), make changes on the spot, and manage everything right from the iPad or your computer—and those updates are instant. I’ve had so many attendees comment on how impressed they are with the check-in process, and I’ve recommended ExpoPass to countless other event leads who come to our events. The only thing I’ve noticed recently (and it’s probably user error on my end. I just need to ask about it) is that the check-in screen seems a bit smaller than it used to be, which makes it a little harder to review the badge before printing. Using the badge printing system saved us a lot of time close to the conference, as we were able to focus on the last-minute needs of our registrants instead of printing/re-printing, stuffing, and shipping badge holders ahead of time. This is my second year to use Expo Pass. Their customer service is amazing. They walked me through the whole process and are very responsive when I have questions. Only the cost, but it's really worth the time (both paid and involved) compared to creating our badges in-house (for people who may not come).
