They even worked with our legal counsel to make sure our privacy policy was accurate and up to date. They are truly experts in data privacy. **What do you dislike about Ethyca?** There is quite a bit of setup required if your company uses many services, but Ethycas thorough integration documentation makes the setup very straightforward **Recommendations to others considering Ethyca:** I highly recommend Ethyca to any organization where a non-technical person will be handling the implementation and setup. The Ethyca support team is incredibly helpful, responsive (shockingly, at all hours of the day) and great at explaining complicated or confusing subjects in a way that is clear and helpful. They've made me feel like a data privacy expert. **What problems is Ethyca solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ethyca handles all of our data privacy needs related to CCPA and GDPR, including hosting our privacy center, consent management, data erasure requests, and data download requests. We had spreadsheet after spreadsheet trying to keep track of who requested what, and when. With Ethyca, privacy management is a breeze. Their platform is intuitive and makes data management a less daunting task. I know our customers respect and appreciate the easy-to-understand consent management center on our website, which was made possible through using Ethyca. Before, our customers had to go through a much more confusing process to obtain their information. In addition to the platform and its functionality, the Ethyca team is absolutely wonderful. Cillian, Sam, and Rachel are amazing and have been there fo us every step of the way. From the start, they were willing to go above and beyond to show how they could help us. Now that we are customers, I find it is so easy to get in touch with the team for any questions I might have. **What do you dislike about Ethyca?** We are on the basic plan, which means we do not have any integrations hooked up and have to pull some data manually, i.e. Klayvio, Attentive, etc. We considered moving up to the PRO plan, but we wish there was a plan in between basic and pro that provided some automation, while still reverting back to the basic features. **What problems is Ethyca solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ethyca has transformed the way we do privacy management. Before, it was a daunting and confusing task. Now, with their intuitive platform and wonderful team to help with questions, privacy management has been made simple. The data flow tool is handy from a system topology standpoint to see how data interacts with our environment. **What do you dislike about Ethyca?** From an administrative standpoint, Ethyca lacks SSO / SCIM support as of yet. **What problems is Ethyca solving and how is that benefiting you?** Automation of CCPA and PII deletion and requests workflows in our environment. With Ethyca we feel secure that we are complying with legal obligations. The team is really nice, always ready to help and troubleshoot, they are also very well informed of the subject matter. **What do you dislike about Ethyca?** Getting up and running has taken much longer than anticipated. This is partially attributed to the fact that our integration is a bit custom built. It would have been good to have known this and been more realistic to manage expectations. **Recommendations to others considering Ethyca:** As data privacy regulations expand globally it's definitely worth investing in Ethyca and automating the process. Setting up will take some time. **What problems is Ethyca solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ethyca is helping us manage our data privacy obligations; deleting data, access requests and DNS consents. They have helped us address issues as they arise. **What do you dislike about Ethyca?** Original documentation was misleading and incomplete; I believe this has been resolved. Requiring a configuration database backend for what was previously configured in a yaml file has only increased complexity for infrastructure requirements. Because of this, Atlas >=1.0 is not CI/CD friendly which to us is a step backwards from versions prior to 1.0. We have still developed a way to manage Atlas deployments with CI/CD, but it was unfortunate we needed to do this development ourselves. It also means we are more likely to be impacted by future changes and will need to continually modify our solution. **What problems is Ethyca solving and how is that benefiting you?** We need to be in CCPA compliance, and Ethyca is helping ensure that we are. ### 8. They were sharing the experience and eager to troubleshoot, deep dive to understand the problem. We had several training sessions and suggestions on how we could customize the system. **What do you dislike about Ethyca?** Probably it was a bit confusing having just 30 minutes sessions when we had a lot of items to discuss but we agreed to have more dedicated sessions for each specific item that helped to speed up the process.
