I’ve found Employee Navigator fairly easy to use for maintaining employee information. We were given access to EN through our insurance company, and over the years we’ve become increasingly comfortable using its different features as we got more familiar with the system. There are a lot of reports and features. Many different patches that will allow EN to work with other software in some capacity, although most of the time not perfectly. Employee Navigator is pretty self-explanatory, but the amount of information contained in EN can be extensive. At times, it’s frustrating when it feels like there should be a report to extract certain details, yet I’m not able to find one that does what I need. It can also be cumbersome not having the ability to correct notes or details in an EE note—once they’re entered, they’re permanent. I’ve also found it difficult to verify open enrollment information against my payroll records, since not everything transfers from EN to ADP and vice versa.
