Just user-friendly overall for me. The drop downs, the use of pictures for each category, the way it alerts you before you submit. It looks like a daunting system, but it is so easy when you use it. The upsides of using it are the email notifications reminding you to submit expenses. I like that tiles are easy to navigate and are named in ways that are easy to understand - just wish there were more of them for more diverse areas of products and services. There need to be more tiles - we need more specific options as well as more broad buckets that we can use for multiple expenses and then specify the details in the notes section. Similarly, we need the mobile app to improve tremendously. The mobile app doesn't let you see the expense needed until you go to create one - the process should work in reverse. Let me see the charges needed and then I can create a report from there. The mobile app is horribly designed and virtually unusable. The computer app is preferable and better - although that one needs to be adjusted as well - it should be easier to go back and edit expenses or see what I have input in the past. Sometimes it takes cumbersome navigating and multiple clicks until I can even see whether it was direct, indirect, or field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I also like that they are making it easier to recall and resubmit expense reports. I also like that now others can edit my sent expense reports instead of me having to resubmit multiple times. I like that I am able to search for specific Chrome River reports when reconciling expenses, especially for reports made by colleagues. I find that Emburse Expense Enterprise significantly enhances employee satisfaction when entering expense reports, which is a critical aspect for maintaining morale and efficiency within the team. I really appreciate the flexibility it offers to modify things on the fly, like adding tiles and creating warnings. This adaptability allows me to address and resolve issues internally as they arise, without needing extensive external support, which saves time and resources. This kind of in-system flexibility is incredibly valuable for efficiently handling unexpected problems and keeping the expense reporting process smooth and user-friendly. I find approving expense reports to be much harder due to the unavailability to itemize expenses, which creates accounting issues and leads to frustration among employees who do not know how to split expenses. It would be beneficial to have the ability to itemize expenses, as it doesn't alter the reimbursement amount but affects the expense coding. Additionally, it would be preferable to be able to add and remove receipts at the approver's level. Lastly, the option to turn off the required comments when Account Payable adjusts project descriptions would be a helpful improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
