For travel allowances, the system is immediately configured with automatic deductions for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I very rarely receive them during my business trips. This means I have to check each day separately to record them correctly. This represents 5 clicks per day - if there are 10 days, then 50 clicks, and additionally at the end, I have to check again if I have checked correctly. A simpler ergonomics is needed, for example, an overview of the entire month, where only the individual boxes of certain days would need to be checked - this way it could be filled out more quickly and with better visibility of all the days. I like how they have updated the main page to make it even more simple to navigate. The site continues to get expense refunds back quickly. They also made customer service easier to contact and they have continued to help me. I was recently locked out of my account and they got back to me almost instantly and fixed the problem. While it is still very easy to use and organized, some of the more complicated receipts are hard to input. Also, there have been a few times the website has crashed while I am in the middle of implementing a reimbursement, and my progress was not recovered an dI had to start again. There are different grant fund accounts associated with our department (History) in the College of Arts and Letters at San Diego State University. Sometimes the support from a particular grant fund is great and sometimes it is not. It all depends on which grant specialist is designated to that specific grant. I like how Emburse Expense Enterprise keeps a nice record of everything related to my expenses. It's super easy to use, especially with so many easy categories to allocate expenses to. For transportation, there's flight, ground transportation, mileage, etc., and if I use Uber or Lyft, the receipt automatically uploads to my Emburse account. Plus, I can easily take a picture of receipts with the app on my phone and upload them. I've had a couple of instances where I can't find the receipt to allocate to my expense. For example, I upload the receipt and I incorrectly selected a different receipt, but when I go back to find the correct one, I can't find it. Navigation and action buttons particularly of sub-items/details was a little unclear; sometimes thought that I might inadvertently delete or cancel a whole expense item or even a report when finished entering some sub-itemizations or details. One minor issue is there was no apparent way to enter a transaction date separate from the posting date from my card statement, which wasn't an issue in this case but could be problematic if daily limits are in play.
