I like that tiles are easy to navigate and are named in ways that are easy to understand - just wish there were more of them for more diverse areas of products and services. **What do you dislike about Emburse Expense Enterprise (formerly Chrome River Expense)?** There need to be more tiles - we need more specific options as well as more broad buckets that we can use for multiple expenses and then specify the details in the notes section. Similarly, we need the mobile app to improve tremendously. The mobile app doesn't let you see the expense needed until you go to create one - the process should work in reverse. Let me see the charges needed and then I can create a report from there. The mobile app is horribly designed and virtually unusable. The computer app is preferable and better - although that one needs to be adjusted as well - it should be easier to go back and edit expenses or see what I have input in the past. It's completely electronic from start to finish. Approvals flow through e-mail and are super-easy (just click the green "Accept" button!) for our attorneys and staff. This has ultimately shortened the time from expense report entry to reimbursement, resulting in happier employees. Also, automated routing ensures that all appropriate approvals for the particular expense amount or type are obtained. It's a very sleek, sophisticated, yet simple to use system. I would recommend it to any organization looking to improve their expense reimbursement experience! Chrome River offers annual conferences to update their customers of new features, best practices, what's coming, etc. I attended the conference in 2025 in Nashville and it was their best ever! **What do you dislike about Emburse Expense Enterprise (formerly Chrome River Expense)?** Though Emburse has made great strides in reporting through their Emburse Analytics portal, I don't like that only one creator license is included with our subscription. We need to pay for additional licenses to create reports. And while the reports you can create are very flexible - you can report and filter on just about any field - you are only limited to 5000 records in the output file. So, I think Analytics has a little ways to go to be more useful. After rolling out the new Mobile App, the highly improved OCR and AI features built in allows the receipt "management" aspect to quickly and accurately capture the receipts, allowing it to easily merge with the Credit Card transaction upon its arrival. Then using the Emburse Analytics to not only manage things from the Administrator's point of view, but with thoughtful collaboration of various stakeholders thru out the company we have dashboards, reports, designed and scheduled for various positions to save them time and quickly answer their key information, help manage their assigned employees, and then make better business decisions. This has saved us numerous hours and more importantly removed the need for many "RFIs" Request For Information" coming to AP for that information. **What do you dislike about Emburse Expense Enterprise (formerly Chrome River Expense)?** As you get more and more into the analytics, it would be nice to have a "DATE TIME STAMP" on the last update, so we know that the information has items updated up to a certain point. Right now it does update every 50-90 mins, is good, but there are times having REAL TIME vs NEAR TIME would be beneficial, but I still love the information. **What problems is Emburse Expense Enterprise (formerly Chrome River Expense) solving and how is that benefiting you?** At MBI International, having the information pulling from Emburse has been key as waiting for it to export and post into Oracle (ERP) you only see those costs exported. By fulling utilizing the Emburse Analytics, it allows you to easily see the expense and where it sits. Project Managers are now using their dashboards to review their specific projects and easily pull the receipts, and corresponding report for client questions. We easily track and carefully watch the "billable" expenses to ensure they export swiftly ensuing our clients are billed TIMELY increasing the cashflow into the company. Year end was the best in history with 98.6% of $25.4M in Expenses were exported. Of the 1.6% not exported, only 24.6K was over 30 days old. Again, using the business acumen, analytics along with the expense module, allowed us to increase the RoI, by using the tools together. System Health check with our QBR and our CSM, stated, this is a "poster child" as all internal functions are streamlined It is simply using the Analytics not just for DATA, but then dig deeper and find out issues, and then improve the system based on reports, i.e. Return Reports, What's the Cause, Who's the Cause. Allows us to do targeted training, add new quick guides, all about improving the system and educating the employees to enhance their experience. Out of Pocket expenses thru analysis allowed us to move the needle from 80% Adoption to 93% adoptions increasing our "rebate", giving us more insight into vendor analysis, increase compliance, etc. Overall, it has been a banner year for the AP Side with the automation of Expense Module. ### 15. The logic is so complicated in the spreadsheet they provided that is is impossible to understand.
