It provides a ready-made structure for managing listings, categories, ads, and reviews. ### 2. One essential, centralized directory to manage and orchastrate everything. The first cross platform directory sevice was easy to use, configure, deploy and maintaine. This helped with managing missional critical business imparatives such as zero day start and stop ensure every employee or partner had access to the right tools, apps and services by automating provisioning and deprovisioning. **What do you dislike about eDirectory?** There were non. The biggest 'downside' was a lack of market awareness. As a seller I was often told NO -- NO to Novell. I asked for them to know Novell before they said No to Novell. The was overwhelming, tell me more but we are a x,y,z shop and we aren't buying Netware... so I made a promise. We'd have a conversation and I wouldn't mention Netware unless they brought it up first. Boom! It is almost impossible to get anything fixed without taking weeks to months of correspondence because they only reply once a day or weeks or never at all. It's features riched and enable anyone to build a membership website whether be it a directory, a classifieds site, real estate and many other niches without writing a single line of code! **What do you dislike about eDirectory?** It's quite a comprehensive platform and along with this comes a bit of complexity to go through all the available options and features. So at first I felt a bit overwhelmed but later after I learned the ins and outs and followed a bit of tutorial my site was up and running in no time. **Recommendations to others considering eDirectory:** I highly recommend eDirectory for building amazing directory sites especially for non technical users as it requires no code knowledge whatsoever. And the outcome is quite impressive. You can truly kickstart an online money generating platform in no time! **What problems is eDirectory solving and how is that benefiting you?** My directory lists businesses in the Middle East and Africa region (MENA) so eDirectory with its lead generation and capturing tools makes it super easy to reach out to new leads and get them to sign up and list their businesses so that was a major point of strength for me. ### 7. You could create tiers and subscriptions, which was nice to start monetizing our service. **What do you dislike about eDirectory?** We had to do quite a bit of customization through the development team at eDirectory, which added up over time. There were some integrations that were a little more complex (ex: Stripe). **What problems is eDirectory solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used eDirectory instead of a Custom site because our service was a directory of workout classes happening throughout specific cities. It was great for charging partners to post their workouts, but when Covid happened, our business model got rocked, and we pivoted to focus more on content creation, which wasn't edirectory's strong suit (SEO & blog customization). ### 8. Occasionally hard to get a hold of, but mostly responsive and do a great job. ### 9. You can setup many things from control panel and have a directory site up with payment options.Supports plans, many different types of directory. Search works. But maybe an integration with Algolia would be great. **What do you dislike about eDirectory?** UI customization is not very good. Code modification is sometimes difficult because of unnecessary obfuscation! I am not sure why a system like this would have obfuscated code in php which anyone can reverse engineer in a few minutes but just being a pain. I would have liked more out of the box mobile friendly design/layout. **What problems is eDirectory solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating a list for doctors. Edirectory allowed us to focus building on advanced features and handled directory system well on its own. Basic building blocks were already there. Allowed us to rapidly deploy to market. ### 10. Also you can find places here, so it really makes sense ! **What do you dislike about eDirectory?** I dislike that there is no application form mobile phone. and no offline web. Also the company is not worldwide and many people, who need help from you, can't access to your platform and **Recommendations to others considering eDirectory:** I recommend eDirectory team to reach more areas, that people from whole of the world will know about your team, because you are really needful persons and many people need your support, ideas, so many ideas will be launched after you!
