I find the solution to be easy to setup, navigate, and perform both backups - and restorations. We use it to backup our entire O365 environment - Exchange mailboxes, Onedrive, SPO, and Teams. Customer support is always helpful and fast! Any problem my team has ever had was quickly diagnosed and resolved promptly. If anything else required a further hand-holding, our CSM reaches out to offer his assistance. Although I use a different backup solution to backup our private cloud, i.e. vmware stack, I doubt I'll move away from Druva Insync backups. I am continuously looking at how we can leverage and integrate this solution into our enterprise. **What do you dislike about Druva Data Security Cloud?** Currently, i dont have anything to dislike about Druva. **What problems is Druva Data Security Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using Druva to backup our O365 environment. As you may or may not know, MS has never really offered a backup solution for their O365 environment. Yes yes, it's 2024 and after MS Ignite, MS did release a new product that does this. But my back of the napkin calculations show that it might be more that our current Druva spend. We love that backing everything up was so simple and we have never had an issue with recovering data. On multiple occassions their backups have saved data that would have otherwise been lost. We also greatly appreciate how easy it was to rollout and get up and running. We felt like the learning curve with Druva was much smaller than other backup solutions we have tried. Implementation was easy and within a short period of two weeks all backup jobs were configured and ready to roll, it depends on the data size but the process is running on the background. It allows for SaaS and on-prem backups without requiring any additional hardware. The Agent installs easily onto each system and for VMWare a backup proxy service manages all of your VMs. For AWS you just need to run a Cloud Formation template for each account and all EC2 instances etc. become visible. Very scalable and very easy to use and manage. We use this for site backups, lab systems, linux workstations, VMware, and Macbooks. Also for Office 365, Exchange, One Drive and sharepoint backups. **What do you dislike about Druva Data Security Cloud?** The platforms are separate and require separate logins, but this will be addressed over time. Phoenix and InSync is one login and Cloud Ranger is a separate login. Other than that, no complaints. **What problems is Druva Data Security Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reliability and the ability to restore data and services to differing locations. This can allow to move systems across sites as well as different data stores and ESXi's for example. Also we are able to use their phoenix cloud backup platform to copy our VSphere infrastructure and bring this online for Disaster Recovery in the Cloud. ### 28. Could have been new support agents in Druva Druva has now re-worded the 'unlimited storage' feature since it actually is not unlimited for current customers with the unlimited storage as part of the agreement. Just keep in mind that since it actually is not unlimited, you need to stay in a certain threshold of storage utilization to be in good standing with Druva and receive more licenses. They do not tell this to you until you run over the threshold. Keep in mind the terms of your agreements.. **What problems is Druva Data Security Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** This product acts as a backup and data recovery solution for our company that is providing ease of use for end users as well as administrators for keeping in compliance of data retention policies and performing data recovery. ### 34. Druva takes away the worries and fears by delivering a quick, reliable and simple process. Restoring an individual email, mailbox or lost file has never felt so relaxed and quick. Lightning fast search on an easy to use interface allows us get back to our end-users in record time. Our Microsoft environments are fully covered and Druva provides that peace of mind, notifying us only if something is out of the ordinary or backups have not complete. Which is a rare occasion. Knowing we can add endpoints on multiple OS and our web apps in Azure too, it provides best in class SaaS backup services. Locking backups and removing .exe files on the backup process adds an extra layer of cyber security protection and ways to recover more easily from ransomware. An evolutionary move requires and evolutionary backup system and we scoped Druva before taking the leap to ensure our backups were best in class and peace of mind from day one. Self-service SSO allowing our team to access their own backup with their existing credentials along with a speedy interface for our IT team backup and restoration has never been so easy. ### 40. There are many features that allow for the backup to be costomised in accordance with individual needs. Ability to cryptographically lock the backup to prevent tampering attempts is also very helpful, especially in the context of ransomware-related risks. **What do you dislike about Druva Data Security Cloud?** It was not technically possible to have Druva nativelly store the Salesforce backup in a European jurisdiciton. **What problems is Druva Data Security Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Druva allows us to backup core cloud data storeges as well as endpoints (laptops) in an external location and easily recover from such backup when needed. This improves our data resiliency, makes us less exposed to various attacks, enhances our disaster recovery, and generally prevents data loss. We also use Druva to comply with eDiscovery requiremetns and to address the risk of ransomware. ### 44. Just a few clicks and a new data set is ready for backup. Restores are a quick few clicks as well. Peace of mind about our backups is finally letting us concentrate on other important tasks. **What do you dislike about Druva Data Security Cloud?** There isn't much I have found with Druva that would be a "downside". One thing is that when you want to delete an obsolete server, it can be confusing when Druva complains that a backup policy still exists. It should be able to just remove the old server and adjust the policies to accomodate removal. **What problems is Druva Data Security Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our previous backup solution was on-site. It was limiting in that we would quickly run out of disk space on that system and have to reduce retention. We actually experienced a crypto hack and all of the backup data was lost. There were no air-gaps or immutability built into that system which should be required by ALL backup systems. Druva has solved these problems and our worry level has dropped to near zero. ### 46.
