**What do you like best about Dover?**

Dover has been one of my favourite tools that I've added to my tech stack. Our bootstrapped startup has scaled from 3-15 in the past 9 months and our previous hiring process was all in Notion and a bit of a mess. With Dover, I've been able to massively reduce the amount of time we spend hiring and interviewing through templates, scoring, replying and more. I honestly can't believe an ATS this good is free. Setup took no time at all, I'm using it every day as we're hiring multiple roles and it's great I can see everything from Gmail within the platform.

**What do you dislike about Dover?**

Beggars can't be choosers. I would've had to pay infinitely more to get anything around the same quality, and at our stage of growth and how infrequently we are hiring, no other platform made sense.

No complaints, it's honestly great.

**What problems is Dover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I mentioned before, we had no scalable process around our hiring and interview process. Dover has made this infinitely easier, especially around best practices on how we should approach staging and scoring of candidates.

**What do you like best about Dover?**

Dover has been such a pleasure to work with to find candidates for open roles for my company.  My team doesn't have a lot of time spend on finding applicants and Dover provided us with the right mix of automation and candidate touch-points.  At a time where we are extremely busy and needing to get backfills and new roles filled, Dover helps take many of the screening and interviewing tasks out of the hiring managers hands.   This way we can focus on our primary responsibilities and talk to a vetted candidate when one is ready.

Our Customer Success Manager helped make Dover and the ATS process easy to use.  They are friendly, knowledgable, and always willing to go the extra-mile to help ensure we have everything we need to be successful.  I cannot stress enough how great the CSM experience has been!

As my company's Admin - Dover was easy to integrate with our Directory and existing recruiting platforms.  This ensured Dover users would get candidated sourced from the proper places we already pay for and also that they login and interact with Dover using SSO.  We were also able to integrate with our Social Collaboration Platform (e.g. chat room)

Being able to configure the ATS is one of the many strengths that Dover has.  We use a technical screening platform and were able to integrate that platform with Dover, to allow for candidates to go through a workflow that may have "external" steps from Dover.  This flexibility and willingness to make it work by the Dover team is such a great asset to have in this process!  Thank you !

**What do you dislike about Dover?**

I only have a couple of items I may offer as suggestions for improvement, but they are minor.  Mostly around the user interface, but otherwise, I do not dislike anything about Dover.

**What problems is Dover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dover is helping my company solve a candidated sourcing problem when the team members have limited time to do this hunting.  Especially given we that we have a very, very small talent team.  The Dover app, in addition to the excellent Customer Success Management, has given my team the necessary tools with the right amount of effort, so that we can focus on our primary responsibilities for the company.  Not only is the Dover "algorithm" finding great matches for the candidates based on skills, experience, etc... they are doing an initial vetting, which saves a ton of time and effort for our team.

**What do you like best about Dover?**

Dovers embedded recruiter system + automated outbound sourcing is such a massive time saver! We've found great talent through them, and they are always extremely responsive to get back to us about scheduling concerns etc. Highly recommend for any small to mid-sized company looking to accelerate hiring efforts.

**What do you dislike about Dover?**

Not much, if anything I'd say I wish they had more seats available!

It basically is a top-tier recruiting organization embedded within your startup.

Dover has been an incredible tool for us, especially since we are a small Recruiting team. Also, the team there (Amos in particular) is super responsive and helpful!

Nothing! Dover has been great an dif we ever run into any issues (which is rare) their team is on it immediately.

**What do you like best about Dover?**

Hands down, one of the best recruiting/hiring platforms I've ever used. The ATS checks all of the boxes, the automated sourcing & outreach helps us reach a lot of great candidates, and Dover's recruiters help us stay on top of it all & keep everything moving at the right pace.

**What do you dislike about Dover?**

Integrations are a bit limited in some places, which can make automating some steps tricky (but, again - Dover's recruiters will help fill the gaps!)

**What problems is Dover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing and screening candidates for a variety of technical roles. Dover has automated most of this for us - so we can spend more time actually speaking to candidates.

**What do you like best about Dover?**

As a small people team with only one person dedicated to sourcing/recruiting, Dover has allowed us to expand and scale our outreach in cost effective ways. I find it to be a great blend of technology and people-driven support. Everyone I have worked with on their CS team has been very helpful and easy to partner with, which is important to me for any vendor we use. We have had a lot of success with the product, making several Dover-sourced hires in the past two plus years.

**What do you dislike about Dover?**

The calibration can be a bit trickier for certain types of roles, particularly those that are more niche or have very specific requirements.

**What problems is Dover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing at scale - would otherwise need to hire either internal or external recruiter to support our small team. Also, sharing the responsibility of initial phone screens is very helpful and saves time for our team.

The team is absolutely, without a doubt, the most kind, patient, helpful and informative team I have ever come across customer service at its best. You genuinely feel like you have a custom experience when dealing with the team and their attention to detail for your hiring needs.

**What do you dislike about Dover?**

Sometimes the site doesn't load things correctly... I don't know. I really can't think of anything else. Any bumps we encounter they address right a way and always with comprehensive communication.

Housing our outsourcing efforts and inbound candidates in the same place is great. One-stop shop to keep our hiring efforts efficient and sane. Customizing some ATS features, we were looking for and helping fine-tune our candidate personas for outsourcing.

We've looked at many CRMs, but used Dover because of its automated top of funnel sourcing. It's very helpful and saves us a lot of time!

Sometimes UI is a bit clunky and unintuitive.

Dover's been an awesome sourcer for us, and accounts for a huge amount of our overall candidate volume. They're also easy to work with and responsive. Would recommend to anyone.

None. Dover has been great for us. Overall performance is great and they have been on top of everything. They are responsive, resourceful and flexible with our needs.

**What do you like best about Dover?**

I love Dover's support! It's so great to have so many people there to help us at any moment. I feel like I always have a direct channel to their team. It's like having a dedicated recruiter working with us. Their solution is so automated, nd allows a small team like us to do so much more recruiting than we ever could. I really like the breadth of candidates Dover cna help you reach. We've made 3 hires with Dover that I don't think we would have made without them. It's been a huge help!

**What do you dislike about Dover?**

I still do have my hesitations about sending emails and having it come from a "bot" account. I know that this is inevitable for a solution like this, but I think there are ways to make the candidate experience more streamlined. I think the Dover team is working on this - they are always so on top of things.

**Recommendations to others considering Dover:**

I would highly recommend using Dover. it will help significnatly with the recruiting process. I find Dover's support to be top tier. They are so quick to reply to us, and I always feel that our needs our met. It truly does feel like we have a full fledged recruiting function thanks to Dover.

With Dover we are solving the problem of sourcing and recruiting candidates. They allow us to target more candidates more quickly without needing to spend time on it. With them we have hired 3 employees in 6 months. It's been awesome!

**What do you like best about Dover?**

Overall the platform is straightforward to use. With minimal overhead to set up the job description and company profile, we could screen and vet candidates far more quickly than we previously were on our own. The support team and client managers are communicative and helpful. Dover made our top-of-funnel process so smooth and seamless that we successfully filled both our open positions while we were simultaneously overhauling our entire product. I also love that Dover handles initial phone screens; it saves us so much time as a hiring team.

**What do you dislike about Dover?**

Dover is still a relatively early platform, so we did encounter some bugs and glitches, particularly when setting up our pipelines or when trying to use some of the custom features, but the Dover team was always quick to fix the issues. Also, the platform doesn't support some more complex, niche features that would be nice to have, such as automatically approving specific candidates for future roles.

If you are overwhelmed trying to reach candidates for your job openings, Dover is perfect for you.

**What problems is Dover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Dover to hire employees for our company. Dover drastically reduces the amount of time and effort that we need to manage the top-of-funnel of our hiring pipelines by narrowing the candidate pool for us and surfacing high-quality candidates. The bandwidth that Dover gives back to our team allows us to be far more productive in other parts of the business, namely, building our product.

I love that Dover can be a sourcing partner. They have a supportive and efficient Customer Success team and I love that they're quick to help fine-tune searches, which has allowed us to find some great candidates through various platforms (outside of the usual LinkedIn)!

**What do you dislike about Dover?**

I do wish there was more opportunity to own the backend alignment for some positions. However, I do believe this is something they're working on? Their product team is very open to feedback and I see frequent updates being made to the product!

Dover is saving me time! They're able to fill my pipeline with qualified candidates AND they take introductory calls. This allows our team to have a lot more time to focus on their work vs. interviewing 24/7.

I like how Dover is set up. We are able to integrate with Slack so we can easily review candidates and get in touch with our account managers when needed. The team is very engaged and helps us as things come up. They are always willing to customize the process for us to meet our needs.

Sometimes I miss candidates in the slack channel so it would be great if I could accept/reject candidates on the Dover website as well. Other than that, I really have no other complaints.

Dover is helping to solve the problem at being able to act like we have a full recruiting team without having to hire an internal recruiting role. They solve the problem that many small start-ups run into: A strong need to hire but not enough resources to hire someone internally full-time.

Dover makes my life as a founder much easier. Being able to outsource initial screenings (which take SO much time) is amazing. Plus, getting inbound automatically is huge -- so far, we've hired two great people with Dover's help!

The cost for the first hire is a bit steep, but if you're hiring for more than one position, it gets more cost effective.

The auto reachout feature can be useful - automated systems allow for a lot more throughput

**What do you dislike about Dover?**

it's a double edged sword in that the filters are quite general, and Dover won't tell you how the algorithm works so it's hard to tell how to optimize my search.  If I was able to learn about HOW the system works I could assess my business more and understand whether a role is better or worse for system like this.

**What problems is Dover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing bandwidth is highly increased. For roles that are purely reachout/numbers based, dover can be good for. When you add complexity the system seems to experience issues linearly.

Dover makes finding potential candidates easy and streamlined. They do the reach out and come back with targeted candidates for us to review and proceed with or not depending on the skills. They are very responsive and easy to work with and gather great feedback as well.

I would say the only thing I could recommend to them, is to use the feedback in real-time when gathering it, it seems like it may take some time to implement.

**What do you like best about Dover?**

Dover made it easy to review candidates and move them along in the process. They also handled all of the initial screens which was a huge time saving for our team. The software was user-friendly and straightforward to understand.

**What do you dislike about Dover?**

It often felt like I was doing duplicate work by outlining the hiring process in Dover and then again in Greenhouse. Our representative could have been a bit clearer and more structured in the initial setup to help with this. Also, Dover prioritized outbound candidates primarily and took a long time to integrate any inbound candidates.

**What problems is Dover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scaling recruiting and moving the hiring process along effectively and efficiently. This allows our people operations team to work on higher priority items as well.

The platform is very early right right now. I like how the team was responsive to our needs and wanted to make their program work.

**What do you dislike about Dover?**

Our hope was to use Dover as a replacement to hire full stack engineers and BDRs. Dover was able to send us a small volume of inbound traffic for these roles, but it was generally very low quality. The few times we had a high quality candidate at the top of the funnel, the candidate would try to ask the Dover email manager a few questions, the Dover email manager would be unresponsive to the candidates questions, and the candidate would never end up scheduling a call.

I wish Dover would also reject candidates that we didn't want so our ATS wouldn't look so messy. Or integrated with scorecards in the ats.

Dover does a great job sitting down with you to understand exactly what it is you are looking for in a particular role. They help set up the entire top of the funnel, and make it very easy to connect with your ATS to manage the whole hiring cycle.

The product is still relatively new, so there's some missing functionality and bugs. However, the team is exceptionally responsive and pragmatic, and new updates are released often.

**What problems is Dover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dover is helping us resolve bandwidth issues when it comes to top of funnel outbounding efforts, as well as all of the administrative aspects of hiring (interview scheduling, follow up emails, etc) which are tough to do without an internal recruiter.

Always fast support, our key accountants were always available in order to get the most out of the platform.
I like that when new features were released, they help us get all the benefits.
The slack integration is one of the must complete that I've seen.

**What do you like best about Dover?**

It's been helpful to have Dover to generate outbound for roles. It would work best with a company with no recruiting resources but with someone who can maintain the pipeline and communicaiton.

**What do you dislike about Dover?**

Lack of personalization: doesn't keep track of networks of people who are already on the team, can't customize responses outside of the templated ones, defensive account managers at times.

**What problems is Dover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing for technical and recruiting roles - benefits were getting the name out there.
