I really like how Docsie centralizes documentation creation, management, and publishing in one place. The interface is clean and intuitive, and I appreciate the collaboration features—multiple team members can work on documentation simultaneously with version control and translation management built-in. It feels like Docsie was made for both technical and non-technical teams.

**What do you dislike about Docsie?**

While Docsie is very capable, there’s a bit of a learning curve when you first start using it, especially with advanced features like versioning, multi-language support, and embedding docs. Some of the UI elements could be more intuitive, and it would be nice to have more integrations with popular tools like Jira, GitHub, or Slack.

**What problems is Docsie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docsie helps solve the problem of disorganized, inconsistent documentation across teams and products. Before using it, maintaining version control, translations, and publishing workflows was time-consuming and error-prone. Our team has utilized Docsie to store critical materials such as handbooks, onboarding information, and best practices for effective collaboration. The current absence of a method to sign off on Docsie documents in our document management system has created a challenge for our team. For our department, it is imperative to have a streamlined and efficient process to sign off on crucial documents, such as our handbook. However, due to the absence of this feature, we have had to resort to creating workarounds, such as using Docsie, to sign off on documents. While this workaround has proven effective, it is not an ideal solution for our team's documentation needs. We strongly urge our documentation company to consider implementing a robust feature for signing off on Docsie documents to enhance our document management process.

There was some knowledge transfer in the beginning because there is so much to this application. However, the Docsie team provided excellent support in helping me understand how to make the most of the platform, which did take some time for knowledge transfer. I find Docsie to be a valuable tool due to its highly adaptable page layout and diverse range of functions available. With such flexibility, the possibilities for content creation are virtually limitless

I have observed that the tool still lacks some flexibility, particularly in terms of rearranging pages by dragging and dropping them into different subtopics. Being able to reorder pages in this way would provide a greater level of adaptability and improve our ability to oorganise our documentation effectively

I highly recommend Docsie as a useful tool for creating company documentation. However, it's worth noting that I have used a competing platform, Notion, which offers a simpler interface with more intuitive navigation. Notion allows users to drag and drop pages for easy reordering and also makes it easier to locate pages.

Docsie has robust feature sets that helps us really get a cutting edge over all our client-side documentation. Docsie allows us to also password project our docs, provide our clients with documentation in different languages and enhance our documentation creation workflow and the end result!

**What do you dislike about Docsie?**

There is a bit of on ramping/training, which meant we had to learn all the features that Docise has to offer and there are alot! But once he got the hang of the platform, creating docs became a breaze!

**What problems is Docsie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our documentation for clients was a mess! We had countless un organized PDF's scattered across multiple projects and teams and Docsie helped us create a knowledge base to control how we process, create and share docs.

Flexible platform that is capable of lot custom features including images, dynamic content and complex nesting of our detailed datasheets. The best part is the team that supports Docise. They are responsive, professional and able to take our input and turn it into results that will help our customers with comprehensive, well organized documentation.

**What do you dislike about Docsie?**

No major complaints. They are honest about their capabilities and they go above and beyond to earn your business and help you become self sufficient on the platform

**What problems is Docsie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to update our website to a more modern platform but we still needed to present our complex documentation for LabJack.com so that our engineers can find and access the info with a few clicks and simple navigation. Docsie to the rescue!

**What do you like best about Docsie?**

There are a lot of features available in Docsie. Effective organisation, solid search, rich and attractive content, and a good model for sharing and permissions all contribute to a positive user experience. It is much faster than other wikis that provide a large number of features.

**What do you dislike about Docsie?**

This tool is at the top in its class. I have a sneaking suspicion that the relatively low number of available integrations will be a barrier for many different companies. On the other hand, it is compatible with all of the services that we need.  There is a possibility that you may not need a wiki in the first place; nevertheless, if you do, Docsie is one of the best options available to you.

**What problems is Docsie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The planning of projects, as well as memoranda and high-level technical documentation, are all handled using Docsie. Keeping Docsie in sync with code is a tiny bit more difficult than keeping it in sync with markdown files. On the other hand, maintaining its conformity with the business goals served by that code is a great deal simpler. Therefore, it would seem that the compromise is acceptable.

In general, Docsie does what most documentation platforms are suppose to do but they fall short. We found Docsie in may of last year and we have been using it for a few of our projects and its a good platform.

**What do you dislike about Docsie?**

It took us a few months to learn and get used to where all the features are. This is a good and bad thing. It's good because it has so many amazing features, however its bad at the same time because there some time was spent learning the platform.

We have struggled with our documentation in the past using a bunch of different tools and combining them to create our documentation, but no more! Docsie finally allows us to create our documentation with all the tools we need in one place! This makes our workflow a whole lot simpler and saves a lot of time as wel.

It takes some getting use to when you first get started. However, after a few runs through the platform and its features, it becomes like second nature to create awesome documentation.

In addition to the excellent auto-save function given by the platform, which is simple to create documentation, maintain it and publish it. The platform's intergreation feature is also excellent since it works well with the usage of gifs and photos.

It would be nice to have to have a more updated user manual and perhaps additional formatting choices for the text, the ability to utilise other forms such as points, numbers, and blockquotes in combination with one another.

I'm putting up a knowledge base for information technology using Docsie. We didn't have one previously, and Slab has made it easy to get things started in the right direction. This is really valuable to my organisation since it aids in the learning of the staff.

When it comes to building documentation and knowledge portals, Docsie is user-friendly and fun to use! knowledge portals may be organised into subjects and subtopics, which I find useful. Incorporating multimedia content and hyperlinks into notes makes it simple to produce and distribute documents to colleagues and customers.

**What do you dislike about Docsie?**

Sometimes I forget when I am in editor mode or viewing mode within articles. It's kind of my fault since there is a clear button stating to click it to start editing, but perhaps it could be more visible?

**What problems is Docsie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are utilising Docsie to create a knowledge portal, where we can discover information on everything that is relevant to our projects. It assists us in maintaining a single source of truth in which we can place our faith and in which we can all participate as a team. Beautiful design, easy-to-use interface, and prompt customer service. The use of the application is enjoyable, and our team is having a good time utilising it in a social and collaborative environment. I truly like the platform's quick knowledge search, and I believe that this is an under-marketed feature of the site. Providing we can fully integrate all of our platforms into Docsie and the indexing and searching ability is robust enough, Docsie has the potential to be a beneficial one-stop-shop for our team for finding everything that is linked to the company.

**What do you dislike about Docsie?**

To be quite honest, I can't think of any significant drawbacks. Any knowledge base would have friction due to the large quantity of organisational information that has to be captured and organised, but that would have happened regardless of which one was used as a starting point.

Docsie has shown to be incredibly helpful in enhancing cooperation and onboarding for new employees. Despite the fact that I was a new employee, I was swiftly brought up to speed and given access to the information I need in a timely way.

The simplest solution is always the best solution for a problem. My confidence in my ability to figure out how to create awesome docs has grown over the course of just a few weeks of using this tool Everything about this is amazing, and we can completely enjoy a whole knowledge portal as a result.

You should not have any negative feelings about Docsie for the time being.

You can create articles quickly and easily because of its user-friendly UI. Using keyboard shortcuts to write is really convenient, and there is also fantastic search navigation.

**What do you dislike about Docsie?**

Tables were an issue when we first started, however, they have fixed this feature and it works great now. We can do quick basic financial tables for our clients with ease.

A comprehensive knowledge base is being developed that will be utilised across all divisions of our organisation in order to maintain internal knowledge and aid new employees who are unfamiliar with our procedures and clients who get onboarded for what we provide.

The framework is fantastic. The features are amazing, such as the option to turn an item to stale, add custom CSS, and download articles. They're a young organisation that values customer feedback. Every new feature is something I eagerly anticipate!

Every now and then there are minor issues with new releases for the application but overall we have a great experience with Docsie!

**What problems is Docsie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A whole bunch of problems occurred before we used Docsie! Our documenttion before Docsie was a mess! we had documentation in emails (PDF's) our SharePoint was out of date, creating and changing docs was problematic. Docsie solved all of our documentation issues with its solutions.

It is really convenient to be able to customize your documentation layout completely and create your own layout. The documentation builder has made it very simple to create a landing page even if you have no prior experience with web design.

**What do you dislike about Docsie?**

I'm overwhelmed by the number of features, and I need to run through a few tutorials to go over them all. It being robust is awesome once you know how everything works, but it's bad in the sense that there is a lot you can do and you need to understand how everything works. Take some time to dig through the platform and eventually, in a week or so, you get used to everything and all the features and have fun with it.

We were on the lookout for a third-party platform that would allow us to manage our knowledge base completely and provide self-service. The most important aspect is that we do not have to rely on any third-party agency or extra resource to administer the web-based documentation building software.

The tool's simplicity of use. It is incredibly intuitive and simple to use, which means that the entire team can access and utilise the system with little or no training.

You can integrate a Google Sheet, however, the built-in Docsie table editor was difficult to use at first, but they improved it and it's a lot easier now.

In 365, we're addressing the issue of having a plethora of distinct folders. Previously, information was dispersed throughout the organisation; today, it is centralised, implying that company performance has improved.

I like how simple it was to set up, how soon our staff was able to begin generating help documentation, and how easily it can be integrated with our live chat platform. Their crew is very responsive to inquiries and a pleasure to work with. I strongly advise you to look into them if you are looking for a knowledge base solution.

There is nothing I hate about it, however, more connection with our live chat platform would be fantastic! But they are making their own chat!

It's fast. We were able to get the portal hosted on the custom domain for free.  The app works well and is conducive to collaboration between the teams. We were using another similar tool and we were frustrated with the slow pace of development and lots of bugs. They seem to be adding new features fairly quickly, which is good.  The few times that we had problems, their support solved them for us pretty quick.

There is a learning curve for some features and some customization required dev work on our side.

Docsie is simple to use and has a swift, and it allows for easy-to-deploy documentation that creates stylish documentation.  We can create many different types of documentation quickly and easily, and they are all fully customizable. You can create any project and publish articles, edit them with their sophisticated versioning system, as well as password protect any documentation you publish.

**What do you dislike about Docsie?**

We haven't found any issues yet, except the embedded documentation does take some technical skills to deploy. We do have a technical team that deals with that so that specifically is not an issue for us.

**What problems is Docsie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docsie is quite marvelousand functional. It allows you to fully design the type of documentation you want and then publish it with many additional features, add-ons and translations.

Maintaining and creating your knowledge base is easy with Docsie. Accessibility to the information from any location and at any time you choose. All of the characteristics are approached in a very straightforward manner. All of the features are covered in detail in tutorial videos and comprehensive documentation.

**What do you dislike about Docsie?**

When they make updates, they are a bit slow to let their customers know about them. But they have amazing customer service and tech support! So that is kind of the trade off.

**What problems is Docsie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Docsie is a great platform for creating knowledge bases and simplifying the way you do documentation with your team. It allows you to integrate with many other products. We use it to collaborate and share knowledge for internal projects.
