Diligent Community Reviews & Product Details

I find Diligent Community simple enough to navigate during our testing phase. I particularly appreciate the ease of creating agendas. I am optimistic about these features making meetings run smoother once we complete our migration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Right now, the lack of communication during the transition has been frustrating. Grouping motions when taking minutes concerns me, as with BoardDocs I can submit a motion for all consent items and it captures information and populates it for all. With Diligent Community, I can only group by sections, which requires entering the same motion multiple times. Also, the initial setup isn’t good and we’re still in the process. Community is very user friendly. It is a simple process to create a template, an agenda, and manage users and groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't think it is a downsize of Community directly, but the migration process from BoardDocs to Diligent Community was not an easy process and had many challenges. Publishing and sharing public agenda is intuitive and easily readable. I find the platform to be mainly intuitive and user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There were some features removed comin from Boarddocs. Such as viewing the live action votes as soon as they are recorded, locking agenda items as they are being edited, user access seems to create more access compared to before. Also our minutes software seems to freeze up often causing delays in recording votes/minute taking during a live a meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So far what we have seen that there are no workflows for items from meeting to meeting, static agendas, inability to skip (override) in approval process, and no signatures on final approvals, No AI in planning or all of the perks of boards. And who is even more short staffed is Governemenr and non-profits Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how Diligent Community simplifies the process of uploading travel documents to share with the board and public. It provides information on how to explore the system, which has been helpful for me. The agenda tools are especially important for keeping board documents organized.
