What do you like best about DEVONAgent?

For my research activities, DEVONAgent Pro has been an excellent assistant. It integrates by conducting several search queries at the same time, and then using the results to eliminate irrelevant links. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DEVONAgent?

Using content from other sources such as academic databases or internal documents of the company seems unnatural. In most cases, they are imported manually or integrated with some other software involving numerous functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DEVONAgent?

In my research activities, DEVONAgent Pro has been quite useful to me. Web search engines not only collect search results from several different search engines but also exclude useless data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DEVONAgent?

They are more complex in usage than today’s search systems such as filters, saved searches, etc. This separation from other research management applications that I employ causes workflow interrupion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent tool for heavy web researchers"

What do you like best about DEVONAgent?

It is a very handy tool for OSX users that do a lot of research that are complicated and fine tune or run them from time to time. There is no real replacement for the usefulness either on the web or on the desktop that I have found that does quite the same job. One of my favorite features is the interface that acts like Spotlight for your searches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DEVONAgent?

There isn't a whole lot I can say that I truly dislike outside of it only being on the OS X platform, sometimes I wish I had it available to use on other platforms outside of the Apple computer platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering DEVONAgent:

If you spend a lot of time searching and especially refining searches or finding historical differences then it is extremely useful. It has a really low cost for the amount of usefullness it provides for this smaller group of people Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It helps to solve a niche in researchers of all kinds from academic to social media and journalism. It allows smart searches like no other platform to scan the web for any updates periodically on all the popular web searching sites as well as your favorite other websites to notify you of any alterations or additions that might be useful. "When Google is not enough... you have to go deep"

What do you like best about DEVONAgent?

I like to boolean as much as the next guy who loves to dig on google. Sometimes the best results take a little more thinking and automation. DevonAGENT is the answer for any deep web searches. It's a meta search engine, filters most of the crap, and presents you actionable results. You can even have DevonAGENT search while you are sleeping and wake up to fresh results every morning. What do you dislike about DEVONAgent?

The UI is dated but don't let that stop you. There's something like an 8 hour free trial, give it a whirl. Think of it like a Google but instead of the clean interface, DevonAGENT gives you access to the all the controls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
