It's been about 4 years since we completely overhauled our company's website. The last time I did it, I had to park the website in an unused subdirectory while I created the website. I then had to spend an evening with IT to port the completed website over to the new location, then spend several hours making sure everything worked at its permanent location.
With just a few clicks, I had a server running on my local laptop. I could work all I wanted, have colleagues log into the website running on my laptop and make changes, provide feedback, etc.. When everything was perfect, I just installed Serverpress's Wordpress plugin, pressed another button, and that was it. It ported over the first time, effortlessly. The site "just worked" when it was at the permanent location. I had zero downtime, lost zero customers, and the whole thing was a dream come true. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Many of the programs included with the software were the "free" versions of them. You will often run up against the limits of the free versions. It's still 100% usable, however. Just annoying every now and then. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
