The User Interface is very Cumbersome and to use the system correctly you need to almost have a dedicated person that has extensive training. Other platforms make it easy to input the date then let the back end do the parsing of the input. With Computerease it is a multi step process to input an expense and easy to mess up which requires a call to the support to correct. The system should have more of a check book input feel. Deltek ComputerEase is an established ERP system that combines proven reliability and long-standing experience with forward-thinking, customer-driven enhancements and ongoing development. Support has been wonderful, with multiple options such as chat, trainings, and personal assistance. They are also broadening their integration capabilities and expanding partner connections to deliver a more comprehensive solution. Many of ComputerEase’s features feel a bit dated, and the overall look and visual experience of the software seems somewhat archaic. I know they are making enhancements, but there are still quite a few areas that need to be updated. Compared with newer software, it isn’t as end-user-friendly; it’s not as intuitive to navigate, and it isn’t easy to visualize and digest the data. I love the ease of use, and the continuous updates and tweaks to the programs. The support is fantastic! They are knowledgeable. Outdated GUI. SLOW, and i mean SLOW to function at all. Parts of the software suite that should communicate seemingly dont. Finding what should be really simple bits of information will take you down rabbit holes and waste your time, you may not even find what you're looking! Their customer support? AWFUL! We booked one of their reps to come to our business and walk employees through how to use the program... the representative was unable to assist with ANY of our concerns, to such a degree that they were nearly BOOED out of the building. All of the modules work with each other, as long as everything is entered correctly by the employee using the system in the office. That said, the system is more complex for some employees, especially when they do not try to understand how the modules connect in order to generate the specific reports you’re looking for or need for your business. A quick couple come to mind.

The need to contact Deltek on errors or missing information prior to the cloud migration. We struggle with getting issues resolved for what we had prior with our in-house server.

We also should not have to pay an additional cost for the Custom Reports of submitting Certified Payrolls on jobs that are required by the state or federal governments. With as many as need these Custom Reports, you have made a profit no doubt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Deltek ComputerEase as a project coordinator is the clear visibility into job costs and project financials, which helps me stay on top of budgets and timelines. What I dislike about Deltek ComputerEase as a project coordinator is that the interface can feel outdated and not very intuitive, which makes some tasks take longer than they should. I really like the job-cost tracking and how it lets me centralize many of my processes in one place. It has replaced a lot of the spreadsheets we were relying on before, which makes everything feel more organized and easier to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I’d like to be able to customize reports more in QTools, with additional options and features available. I’d also like the vacation tracking to follow our PTO rules, because it currently doesn’t, and I have to make a lot of adjustments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that Deltek offers help desk references that make it easy to execute my work, along with quick access to chat or a personal contact when I need help fast. I also appreciate the continuous updates, which help me get work done more efficiently, and the ability to keep everything in one place across multiple areas of work.
