Confidence in having a high level view of website **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025 **What do you like best about DataTrue?** The wide range of capabilities, from being able to be as broad at scanning every single page of your website, we have 1000s, to narrow as being able to test a single user flow and make sure the correct tags are firing and data is being collected. **What do you dislike about DataTrue?** The lack of thresholding. Since we have 1000s of pages in our coverage tests, if one page failed, the whole test failed. We wanted a precentage put in place, where if say 95% of the tags passed, the whole test would pass. **What problems is DataTrue solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are able to know when tags break. Our website is constantly changing and being updated, like css selectors, that we use as rules in our simulation test and triggers. So we are able to catch when tags start breaking and update them in GTM so we don't have a loss in data. ### 2. Once we implemented DataTrue, it has been very easy to review areas of the site, quickly find errors and submit to our developers. We are able to catch issues much quicker than we had in the past. We have also been extremely happy with the support. DataTrue's team is incredibly responsive, thoughtful in their approach and hands-on. We have not fully utilized all of the features available with DataTrue, but have already realized value from the tool. **What do you dislike about DataTrue?** As with any tag monitoring tool, there is a big time investment in setting up the tests that you want, but once it is implemented, monitoring and updated is quite simple. **What problems is DataTrue solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use DataTrue to monitor our analytics and marketing tagging as well as to monitor compliance with our cookie policy. This gives me a peace of mind as i will not get surprised by missing data after a longer period of time. There is no implementation needed, just a setup of the tests similar as if you would test it yourself. **What do you dislike about DataTrue?** Depending on the complexity of your website and tracking requirenments, the setup of the tests might need some help from datatrue support but they are happy to help. **What problems is DataTrue solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me to keep track of the trackers and analytics related changes that might impact the dataquality on my clients websites and apps. We can use this tool on our website to validate upcoming data from customer through tags and data layers as well. It can highlight error and give analysis report as well which can use to validate data. It also provide unit, regression etc testing along with other analysis reports. **What do you dislike about DataTrue?** As of now nothing major but i would say they should give some free plan as well to test before buy paid plan. **What problems is DataTrue solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our marketing team was struggling with data gathered from website as data had lots of missing data as well. to deal with it they have to do manual validation which become very time consuming for them, so i suggest them to use DataTrue with website as it can give us data with analysis reports, error indication etc. which can be use for team to validate and get correct data. It really reduce efforts and able to use use it before productionisation of website as we can check majority error while testing. ### 11.
