**What do you like best about Database Lab?**

Their database lab product makes cloning your production database a breeze.  I don't know how I got by without it.

**What do you dislike about Database Lab?**

I wish more people knew about this product. It takes away *SO* many headaches for developers/devops people.

**What problems is Database Lab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We often want to test that code changes (especially migration scripts) work against prod without risking breaking things.  Being able to thin clone our prod db in < 2 seconds means we can easily test a perfect copy of prod then throw that clone away with no effort.  It even allow us to have end to end testing against a clone of prod.  The operations to clone and destroy a clone are so fast we can literally run them in a junit setup/teardown method.

**What do you like best about Database Lab?**

The ability to create new database clones in seconds instead of hours and without additional storage space needed.

**What do you dislike about Database Lab?**

It needs some effort to install, but it's worth it.

**What problems is Database Lab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to analyze and play with data (including data modification) for the data scientists and developers, and ability to have their own database instance for the local development environment for the developers.
