I find Cvent Event Diagramming incredibly helpful for reducing administrative tasks related to our events. I dislike the language management feature for the exhibitor portal in Cvent Event Diagramming. Each event defaults to certain language terms, like 'booth' instead of 'stand', and we need to manually adjust it to fit our preferred version. This can be a tedious task. The CRM is great, according to my boss, but the diagramming feature is lacking many important aspects. For instance, there's no option to customize the title of the diagram. Personally, I don't need to include the timing and dates of my event, but that's the default. I reached out to your customer service, and unfortunately, they said it's not possible to remove this feature, which is really disappointing.

Additionally, when printing the floor plan, sometimes the footer, where the event names are listed, doesn't appear. This happens intermittently. Another issue is that you cannot organize the files by template, and the template itself is stored in a completely different folder. The history feature should also be more streamlined to help organize everything in a folder.

There are so many missing features in this program, but my boss mentioned that it was tied to the CRM, which is why we renewed it. Otherwise, we wouldn't have kept it, and we were actually considering switching to a different solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find the software easy to use. Uusally i just open up the floor diagram and use saved layouts to quickly add tables and chairs. I find the object tool great because we rent chairs and tables of different sizes so often i have to adjust those specs to meet space requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do wish more rental catalogs were connected to the tool. I don't find the catalogs helpful and they are not current. I also find that the browser will freeze when i have object heavy diagrams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the drag and drop features. It is easy to add tables, chairs and even miscellaneous items to a floorplan. It is comforting knowing that your diagram is to scale with the space as well. Inserting large amounts of tables or items is easy with the group drop when you can drag out as many tables as you need at one time. Social Tables support system is incredible and takes all feedback into consideration. When we first started using Cvent they offered multiple conference calls to show us how each feature was used and the new updates that they had. They are easily accessible for quick questions or concerns as well. I also like that once you create a floorplan you like, you can save it as a template for future events. For simple diagrams, such as small meetings, it is often times easier to copy and paste on other programs than it is to build on Social Tables. It is also difficult to share to "social" clients. They often times do not understand the functions or make changes without informing the creator. Although to scale. sometimes it does not take into account service space or unique features in the room. I also dislike that even though you can add the exact number of chairs that you need, it is often times hard to tell how many chairs are at each table unless you count each one. I like that plans are so easy to find. Whatever venue you might think of, you will find the plan to work with. Everything is clear, it's user-friendly, and it's easy to work with.
