I find Creative Services Inc really great for our mandatory background checks as a compliance process. They have really good pricing, in my opinion, and are easy to work with. I'm always on time with my background checks because they've been able to aid me in figuring out what to do and when to do it. They have set a schedule for me upon request and always answer my questions quickly, making it easy to do my job on time and in compliance. I also value the really good relationship and partnership we have, as their direct connection and knowledge help me get to where I need to be. Anytime I ask questions, they're always able to deliver exactly what I'm asking for.

**What do you dislike about Creative Services Inc?**

I guess the platform maybe needs improvements when it comes to onboarding. I didn't really get an onboarding experience, so I had to ask questions on how to use the platform. Like I said, I inherited this.

I use Creative Services Inc for compliance-related background checks. They help me stay on schedule and answer my questions quickly. Their knowledge and guidance make my compliance role easier. The good partnership and fair pricing also motivate me to continue using their services.

I really like the customer service at Creative Services Inc. They are fantastic about quick responses, always getting back to me swiftly and explaining anything I might not understand. The service has been incredibly helpful in streamlining the background check aspect of our tedious hiring process. Their quick turnaround time for background checks is another big plus, as they complete them quickly and notify me promptly if any issues arise. They do such a great job handling the aspects they manage for us that I've never considered going elsewhere.

The only part I find cumbersome is the uploading of signed documents - my potential hires always get confused at this part and it usually holds up the process on the front end. So my only suggestion would be an easier to understand upload process for signed CORI forms.

**What do you like best about Creative Services Inc?**

I appreciate Creative Services Inc for their personalized customer service and quick responses, which make all the difference in supporting our faculty and staff background check process efficiently. I love the virtual CORI form approvals, as individuals can easily complete the forms virtually from home in one sitting, instead of going to a notary or HR. Having a regular team to communicate with is huge for us, as they understand our unique needs and consistently provide same-day assistance. The team is especially diligent with international orders and quickly accommodates rush requests on background checks. They also follow up with individuals who haven't completed their portion, which takes the workload off us. Their engaged support during our testing phase ensured the smooth integration of the background check service into our new HR platform, Workday.

**What do you dislike about Creative Services Inc?**

The only thing I would change is a technical piece of the background form when the candidate needs to upload the CORI it only allows one image and it is often a two page document. People have printed the form back in front so then they are needing to reach out to HR and trying to find a way to securely send the second part of the document because the form does not let them upload a second one anywhere. If they do both papers, they’ll need to put them side-by-side in one image, which is not intuitive.

I find Creative Services Inc extremely valuable for running background and drug screenings for new hires and current employees because they know the necessary regulations for the MA Cannabis Industry, ensuring everything runs compliantly. The software is easy for everyone to use, making the process smooth. The system is very user-friendly and allows our employees to complete the portal and required signatures promptly, and the website is user-friendly on the provider end, with all screens and reports easy to find and view. The customer service is wonderful; our account reps and all of the staff have been beyond helpful. They respond quickly with clear answers. I never feel like I am bothering them as I receive timely responses and clear guidance.

It's also great that they take the time to follow up with applicants and guide them through the process, sparing us from having to get too involved. The way they tailor packages and the web portal to fit our business needs makes the system really easy to use. Features like placing orders, reviewing them, sending reminders, and canceling are all straightforward on the platform. Whenever I need more help, their client success team is always quick and willing to assist. I really appreciate the 'white glove' service from Creative Services Inc, which is unparalleled. They've truly made our lives super easy by handling the heavy lifting with background checks and engaging with applicants to ensure their paperwork is submitted. Their contribution allows us to just act as a link between organizations. They're always willing to work with us whenever we need a new solution, and their expertise in the background check space is very valuable. They provide valuable information and training on conducting a review of background checks from a legal standpoint. Additionally, they create seamless and painless transitions whenever needed. The fact that they run a Massachusetts iCORI is huge for us since we require it for all our applicants, a task many companies won't handle due to the paperwork burden. Overall, I wouldn't change anything about their services.

I really appreciate Creative Services Inc because it meets our needs for background checks without discrepancies, which was an issue with the previous vendor. I value the full background checks on any county that's tied to the candidate's SSN—it’s been immensely helpful. The communication between us and Creative Services Inc is impeccable; we never feel ignored. They support a streamlined, end-to-end background screening workflow through their JobVite integration, with features like automated order initiation, applicant self-service, pre-population of candidate data, and real-time updates. The workflow from initiating background checks to completion updates back to JobVite is much easier. They provide strong and consistent client support and communication.

What I love most about Creative Services is their customer service.  Our emails and calls are answered promptly, and their background screening services are timely, thorough, and detailed.

I honestly cannot think of anything negative, it has been exceptional from Day 1.

Stacey Killingsworth was our first point of contract when we were considering changing providers for our background screening services, and from that first meeting forward, it has been such a smooth transition.  I was honestly nervous about the integration, but it was quick and seamless!  It is actually easier now than before.  We have worked with Stacey and her team to develop a custom screening plan based upon the different levels of candidates we are sourcing for.  This is both cost effective and smart.

Our point of contact, Mike Lage, is without hesitation the key reason this program works for us.  He is responsive, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with!

**What do you dislike about Creative Services Inc?**

I dislike the number of options that a screening can come back with.  I also find it incredibly confusing when a status comes back for employees and it is in different colors.  Streamline what is available for options and colors...it needs to be very clear to companies that aren't used to logging in and checking on the status of their employees.  This is the single biggest problem phone call I get from all of my Subcontractors.  I have over 58 companies to field questions for.

Get clear at the beginning of the project what the statuses are, what color means what, and WHO has the authorization to change an employees status.  The Subcontractor should NOT have the authorization to self approve!

They are the front line for our Subcontractors to ask questions and field the solutions.  This saves me an unbelievable amount of time that I don't have for this type of individual follow up.

CSI helps solve a complex process that state agencies typically aren’t designed or set up to handle. They step in and fill an important need, doing it more effectively and efficiently than a state agency could on its own.

I haven’t had any issues with the staff or the services. Occasionally, though, I do run into technical problems with the platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Creative Services Inc:**

I recommend meeting regularly with your Account Manager and Client Success Supervisor to fully understand your package(s) and reassess if changes are needed. They are also very informative during quarterly reviews and in reporting and interpreting data, which helps organizations plan and budget for the future. 
Lastly, I suggest asking the Account Manager to recommend additional services based on the business's needs and utilization. They are very knowledgeable and have great insight.

CSI Customer support has been hugely helpful. Quick responses, knowledgeable about the laws and overall helpful demeanor.

Length of time confirming India education for employees in the last few years. This has actually gotten better in the last few years since Covid.

We are able to onboard more quickly with CSI running the background checks. Less friction in our processes.
