## cplace Reviews
  ### 1. Flexible, Configurable, and Perfect for Complex Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about cplace?**

What I like most about cplace is its flexibility and configurability. It allows teams to adapt the platform to their own processes and reporting needs, rather than forcing everyone into a fixed structure. I also appreciate how it supports collaboration and transparency across different departments, especially in complex project environments.

**What do you dislike about cplace?**

One useful improvement for cplace would be the ability to create and manage multiple baselines, which would greatly enhance project tracking and reporting accuracy. Additionally, the initial setup starts in German, which can be challenging for international users. It would be very helpful if the platform could automatically adapt the language based on the company or user profile.

**What problems is cplace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

cplace helps solve the challenge of managing complex project structures across multiple departments. It provides a single platform where all stakeholders can track progress, dependencies, and milestones in a transparent way. This improves collaboration, ensures data consistency, and supports better decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

  ### 2. Excellent software with the highest flexibility & customer-specific configuration options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julian V. | Entwicklung - Zentrale Terminplanung & Entwicklungsprozesse | Sachbearbeiter, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2020

**What do you like best about cplace?**

I appreciate the high flexibility of cplace, which allows for any application adjustments to be made. I enjoy the numerous configuration options that make it possible to create custom workflows for individual processes, even without an IT background. The simple data modeling and the customizable layout and appearance are particularly valuable to me. Additionally, cplace enables seamless workflows and provides a central data base, ensuring transparency and traceability. Particularly helpful are the workflow manager, the no-code data modeling, and easily implementable low-code implementations.

**What do you dislike about cplace?**

The Excel-like table functions, especially when handling large data types, could be optimized. Additionally, the menu navigation is something that, in my view, should be improved.

**What problems is cplace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use cplace to eliminate shadow IT, create a central data base, and ensure seamless workflows, which increases transparency and traceability.

  ### 3. Flexible platform with real-time data modeling

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcus B.

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about cplace?**

I appreciate the flexibility and the ability for real-time data modeling that cplace offers. This allows me as a business user to make changes directly and without coding, which significantly facilitates adaptation to our project needs. The platform provides a visual, no-code layout design and a variety of standard widgets that can be easily integrated to implement projects efficiently. The rapid implementation of a proof-of-concept (POC) with visualization capability has enabled us to quickly gather valuable feedback from potential users. These features greatly assist in agile and efficient project management in our company.

**What do you dislike about cplace?**

I find the number of widgets included in the standard at cplace limited and wish for a stronger focus on the user interface (UI). This has a significant impact on how the application is received in the company, and thus also on user acceptance. I also see potential for more focus on low-code development, so that more users can implement their own features without the support of consulting services.

**What problems is cplace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use cplace for fast and real-time data modeling, which allows me to implement projects effectively. The no-code and low-code features enable business users to make adjustments without much technical effort.

  ### 4. Efficient project planning, but need for improvement in navigation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcel K.

**What do you like best about cplace?**

I particularly appreciate the representation of dependencies in projects that cplace enables. This is extremely helpful for collaborative work, which significantly improves teamwork. The ability to create Gantt charts and map task planning directly in the software is also of great benefit to me, as it greatly facilitates project overview and time management. Additionally, I find the action overview very useful, as it quickly and clearly provides essential information, which significantly contributes to efficient project management. I am also interested in the new AI applications that cplace offers and see great potential in them for future projects. Although the navigation was somewhat more complex at first, my handling has noticeably improved with more frequent use. Overall, I am very satisfied and would highly recommend cplace.

**What do you dislike about cplace?**

The navigation and clarity were initially more complicated, and the user interface could have a more modern appearance.

**What problems is cplace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use cplace to represent dependencies in projects and for collaborative teamwork, which makes my project planning more effective.

  ### 5. Intuitive Use with Strong Adaptability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

I find that cplace is very intuitive to use after a short familiarization period, which significantly eases my daily work. I particularly appreciate the very good history that cplace offers, as it is extremely helpful in risk management. Furthermore, I am impressed by the quick implementation of necessary adjustments, which I can often make myself, giving me a high degree of flexibility and independence. The tables and evaluation dashboards are extremely useful and can be customized as needed, allowing me to tailor them perfectly to my requirements. I am also enthusiastic about the ProCode, LowCode, and NoCode approach of cplace, as it appeals to various users with different technical skills, thus enabling broad application within the company. Due to all these advantages, I would definitely choose cplace again, which is also reflected in my very high willingness to recommend it on a scale of 1 to 10, where I have given a 10.

  ### 6. Maximum flexibility: cplace adapts perfectly to our processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arthur C. | Project Management Consultant @ Daimler Truck Project Management Office, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about cplace?**

The complete configurability allows us as cplace customers to design our very own "personal" cplace. This way, the tool adapts to our business processes, instead of us having to adjust our workflows to a predefined tool.

**What do you dislike about cplace?**

The configurability through NoCode and LowCode approaches reaches its limits, which is why not every idea from citizen developers can be realized. Especially with the available widgets for data entry, it would be desirable if the standard toolkit offered a greater selection.

**What problems is cplace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

cplace primarily addresses challenges in global project management and offers the opportunity to independently integrate company-specific methods.

  ### 7. Flexible project management tool with performance challenges

The customizable data model makes it easy to tailor the software to our specific use cases, significantly enhancing the efficiency of our project schedule management. The ability to create individual layouts provides me with the freedom to configure the software so that it optimally aligns with our workflows. This adaptability is invaluable to me, as it ensures that our specific requirements are fully met.

  ### 10. Best Project Management low-code Platform on the Market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Igor M. | PM, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2021

**What do you like best about cplace?**

The flexibility of the platform to have our content, processes, and methods in one place! We could build our PM world precisely as we use it in reality. Since it´s a low-code system, the development & alignment could be done entirely internally, which is a considerable speed improvement compared to other tools.

**What do you dislike about cplace?**

In the beginning, the system was very row, so we had to build everything we need ourselves.

**What problems is cplace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We connect the PM world, starting from a basic schedule to additonal modules, like risk management, issue management, and task tracking.

  ### 11. Flexibe platform reflecting your organisation/process in a modular & fast approach

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2021

**What do you like best about cplace?**

cplace allows you to build a global scalable solution that suits your organisation in a fast and flexible way. It starts with reflecting your organisation / process in the data model (which requires some know-how as system architect). With the existing No-Code building blocks (i.e. widgets/apps) you can then build up the system fast and provide it to the users as web application. After this you can extend it with Low-Code or even Pro-Code (own widgets), so the system can grow with you at your own speed.
As user you have the advantage that you can get different custom pre-tailored views on your data (slice and dice) depending on your use case and you can work simultaneously on it.

**What do you dislike about cplace?**

Due to fact that it is a pure web application that runs in a browser (which has its advantages as well) respectively different browsers, you inherit limitations e.g. performance must be high enough for loading widget and data - not only data as in local installations. In my opinion you also sometimes need more clicks than are absolutely necessary as you have to specifically select/save items in the browser. The No-code approach with building-blicks results in some rougher edges in the layout which a completely custom solution wouldn't have (but complete custom solutions have other clear disadvantages).

**What problems is cplace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We realized a holistic project management solution in cplace, leaving a fragmented landscape behind, that hindered us from easily having transparency on the status in its entirety. Thus we achieved a holistic & integrated view in a fast fashion and still have the possibility to improve/extend step-by-step in the future.
