The Simplicity of using the Software and various opportunities to segregate users based on the funnel journey or our email engagements. However, what I love with this software is the email open rate which is always on a good note which means most of our emails are ending up in Inbox or Promotion folders. Yeah, there is only one disadvantage in segmentation. Convertkit will count a user from the date of subscription, If he purchased a product on a specific month while creating segments and trying to segregate the particular month users It won't consider the user from the date of purchase, It will segregate based on the data of the user joined one. The cost. I don't use all of the features but I feel like I'm paying for them all. I also wish that they would remind me when something isn't working or when I accidentally duplicate something and it crosses over to the next email broadcast. Tailored very much for creative types. They speak the language that people like me understand (photographer turned coach). The automation interface is so much better than the other product I've been using for the past few years (and reviewed). Their support staff is very prompt and helpful (and kind!). There are some features that I requested when they asked me about what could be improved. The email template system could be improved by allowing the template selection for automation for example. Also, what's not there (compared to other EDMs) is the ability to add smart fields against a subscriber (e.g. time/date fields for appointments etc). I don't like the opt-in forms of Convertkit. It needs to be updated. When creating a form, there are times when it's quite hard to know because the instant preview doesn't show exactly what the form looks like. I liked the email design feature the most out of all the offerings, it was easy to use, intuitive, and got the job done; the UI was solid and didn't clutter things up. The other feature that I enjoyed was the landing page builder and how intuitive it was. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing that I disliked was the email sequencing, it was rather too simple as compared to other products out there like klaviyo. It used a drag and drop setup whereas klaviyo gives more freedom and choice with added complexity of course. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
