The level of customization within the platform was overwhelming at first, but after spending some time in their "Academy", using the platform was a breeze. My entire team is using CS on the daily, and one of the biggest advantages is that even team members without programming skills can work independently with minimal support from our IT team. **What do you dislike about Contentstack?** The seemingly limitless customization options within the platform can be overwhelming for those not familiar with working with a headless CMS. It can be pretty easy to get lost in the details with so many possibilities, which can slow down decision-making and implementation. For teams that don't have a clear strategy for their website, the flexibility might lead to inconsistency in content management. **What problems is Contentstack solving and how is that benefiting you?** CS offers the flexibility we need from a CMS to manage content across a variety of different platforms (website, mobile devices, etc). I like that for product content publishes to be successful, that the lines turn green which is helpful to the eye within the stack. Assessing some of the errors and pinpointing where to fix within the product page is user friendly. **What do you dislike about Contentstack?** The errors that transfer between systems are unexplainable and don't leave the user with much help to remedy the issues. Product content flowing between systems can take longer than 15-20 minutes, causing the user to resend content again into Contentstack. As a user-friendly platform, I can quickly create content that can be used in a lot of pages. I can easily find any doubt in the contenstack articles or through the customer support. It's very easy to integrate and implement new features comparing with our previous tool, for example payment methods, review system, external partners. I use it very frequently everyday and am glad to have a platform that doesn't break all the time or slow-CS has been a great improvement in my daily work. **What do you dislike about Contentstack?** Contentstack doesn't allow you to select unlimited entries to add to a release, it doesn't have several type of accesses (just content editor and admin). At the moment we cannot use images from other scopes, which increases the amount of images in our assets. Despite all the annoying issues I am fond of it. **What do you dislike about Contentstack?** As an end user, it's hard to find features and customise workflows. Why isn't it possible to organise files by name/date/other quality? It drives me insane that you can't do that and they're always organised by "recently opened". What if you need to work through a list of them (thousands, say) and have no way of marking, tagging or knowing where you're up to? It should be more possible to make batch changes to certain types of files. It should be easier to see previews of how images will be cropped in certain formats. Also when creating/saving new files such as photos, I do not want to have to look for the correct folder which is in a different position each time. I do NOT want the folders to mix up their order depending on what someone else clicked on recently. I want the folder architecture to remain the same each time so that it's easy to use. This leads to another problem, duplication. Why is it possible to create two folders of the exact same name? Recipe for disaster. Another incredibly silly thing is that there is no preview function you can access before making a change or making a new page live. This makes it impossible to be creative/experiment/fulfil new requirements. Why is there a whole second block of WYSIWYG input that we are not allowed to touch, but that can't be deleted? The time and date system for events doesn't allow us to customise according to our brand style guide. It also doesn't account for daylight saving where you need to change the timezone from AEST to AEDT. Need to be able to fix this on our side not just accept it. Sometimes it feels like ContentStack is a platform that has never been used to create a website before, so we are requesting all these very reasonable fixes that require weeks/months of work to implement. The platform makes it really hard to see and click and find what the content actually says in the back end, because there are so many other fields and the important main content boxes are collapsed all the time. That's good for job security. **What do you dislike about Contentstack?** The rich text editor is really buggy, and you have to use the html to make things work, which limits the population that can effectively use the platform. There are ways to make subtle mistakes in project setup that can set you back weeks when you later realize that things won't work as expected. The ways that entries are connected are not intuitive at all, although this might have been due to how our developers built our first project. The localizations and language settings also created majjor confusion, and we need to rebuild an entire site to correct discrepancies. This should have been anticipated during an onboarding and should have been avoided. (We built two sites that had different master languages, and now we want to modularize our content, which will require rebuilding one so that the language settings match.) I often experience lags that get really annoying when I'm repeating the same sequence of key strokes over and over again. It might be because we're hosting the site on another continent, though. A half second delay per click gets to be a lot when you do thousands of clicks per sub-project. The way that searches work and that search results are displayed could be improved. If you navigate away from a sorted list of search results and then hit the back button (in the platform or on the browser) you lose the sorting, or the specific results page that you were looking at, for example. Finally (for now), we have a bug that requires saving and publishing instead of just publishing. It's not clear why saving should be a required step. Save should mean save without publishing.
