Condens is by far the most competent all-in-one transcriptions and annotation tool for research, that I've found so far.
The transcription service alone is worth the subscription cost -- it automatically detects different speakers, and the ability to live edit the transcript while listening (and it highlighting the words being said live) are killer features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have two wishes for features in Condens, both have to do with flexibility.
The first is that I think project management is a little unwieldy for research products. I would love to have slightly more granular control over what a project is, who is participating as researchers and who the participants are.
Next, I would prefer a few more simple options for data collection. I appreciate the collaboration features, but something I would just like to put everything in a spreadsheet and automatically count how many times a word was mentioned (this feature might exist, but I haven't found it).
