"End-to-End Observability for Most of Our Tools"
5/5
What do you like best about Coalesce?

Integrates nicely with most tools we use: Slack, dbt, BigQuery, Looker etc. End to end observability makes it much easier to keep track of what data we use and where we use it. Column level lineage is a game changer for observability through our layers. Makes us able to better decentralise responsibility of both creating and following up alerts as well as notifying consumers of failing data. Nice that they listen to feedback from their users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coalesce?

The product is still a little young with some bugs and it still changes a lot in the UI. But I appreciate that it’s fast moving and bugs are disappearing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Coalesce?

I love that I can see the lineage of my models, even when filtering for columns + I love that when I need to question/examine my models in ANY way, Synq is my first to-go tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coalesce?

That it is still developing. But don't take me wrong this is also a GREAT thing, as we get to witness and sometimes contribute to how they are developing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best data library"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Coalesce?

Castor is very straightforward and easy to use, navigate, and search to find our data, determine what it is, and how it's all connected. It's been a vital resource in helping build out and maintain our vast data bank. I also love that it is continuing to advance its capabilities and features. They are receptive to feedback and requests and make things happen for our use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coalesce?

A little more automation with copied descriptions would be helpful. There are instances where data is the same and we have to copy and paste multiple times in different areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The product roadmap is very rich and brings new features to the users every month.

The team is very nice, reactive, helpful and customer-oriented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coalesce?

I'd like to have more detailed statistics on the usage of the data catalog to organise the knowledge sections for the best. But I believe that this feature is coming soon... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
