## Coalesce Reviews
 ### 1. Coalesce Supercharges Data Warehousing with No‑Code Speed and Best Practices

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas M. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

I've worked with most major data transformation tools over the last 15 years, and Coalesce is hands-down my favorite among them all. We're able to deliver faster data integration, quality, and warehouse projects internally and for our clients because of Coalesce's no-code / low-code interface. What previously would take several data engineers now can be delivered with 1 or 2, and in less time.

Coalesce writes complex transformations for you and with proper best practices, allowing you to stand up an integrated data warehouse in significantly less time. The lineage feature makes it easy to troubleshoot errors and trace the root cause. The ability to propagate columns changes to downstream transformations with a few clicks saves hours of time per task. Using the software development best practices makes deployment fast and reliable. Onboarding new team members is very efficient - if they know SQL and understand data pipelines, then Coalesce is the most effective tool to quickly bring new team members up-to-speed.

It's also flexible enough to easily migrate from other platforms because you can easily drop your code into their AI engine and it will create the transformations for you. Whether it's a new project or moving away from an existing technology, you can implement fast and efficiently.

On top of the tools amazing features, the sales and support team members are the most responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful compared to any other software vendor I've ever worked with.

Lastly, they continue to add new features based on real feedback from customers to ensure we're always getting the best value for our money. Coalesce is easily one of my favorite products.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

Can't think of any. If we ever have a question or feature request, they're always very helpful in pointing us in the right direction or transparant on when it will be released.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coalesce is the backbone for data transformations, data quality, and governance within our Snowflake environment in support of our data products. It also is our go-to tool for deploying strategic data warehouses and data products for our clients in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. It allows us to deliver projects faster, which means keeping overall costs down while also delivering high-quality data to help run our business and our clients' businesses more effectively. At a time when budgets are constantly being scrutinized, Coalesce is one of the tools that continues to stand out because teams are able to articulate and show the value it brings to them, ultimately helping teams cut costs and deliver better quality data to their end users in less time.

 ### 2. Streamlined Data Warehousing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony P. | Head of Data & Analytics

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

I appreciate Coalesce for simplifying the development process by modularizing code into reusable standard and custom node types, which enforces consistency and reduces development time. I like the combination of simplicity and flexibility, as I can quickly start building nodes and prototyping, while also having the flexibility of custom node types for complex use cases. The standard prebuilt node types are easy to use and applicable to a majority of data warehousing use cases without needing much configuration. I find it pretty easy to set up Coalesce - all I need is a simple connection to Snowflake and Git, and I can start working quickly. The documentation makes these configurations easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

In the future it would be great to have additional options and capabilities to work side by side with data modeling tools. For example, being able to use the data modeling tool to create the logical and physical data model, and allowing Coalesce to easily work within the data model that is deployed to Snowflake from the modeling tool rather than having to recreate the facts, dims, etc. directly in Coalesce.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coalesce simplifies my development process by modularizing code into reusable node types, ensuring consistency and reducing development time.

 ### 3. Effortless Data Transformation with Coalesce

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna P. | Consultant

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

I like Coalesce for its ease of use and organization, especially how it allows different workspaces for different developers. I also appreciate that all processes are stored in a GitHub repository. It's easy to use and maintain, and deploying and managing jobs and logs is straightforward. The integration feels like working on GitHub from my local machine, but with a nice UI that makes creating and maintaining pipelines and nodes much easier. The initial setup was easy and straightforward, even for those with less coding experience. Additionally, Coalesce provides more benefits and is more user-friendly compared to dbt, which we used before.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

I would like an easy way to transform current SQL code that contains CTEs into one or many Coalesce nodes without the hard work or amount of time that it requires going into the original code and seeing how you can break that code to fit it in Coalesce nodes. Managing/storing environment and workspace credentials could definitely be improved. There have been many times that I have to go to Snowflake and copy and paste manually different sections instead of maybe having a drop-down menu based on my Snowflake access. Also, many times I have to input my credentials again because they got wiped.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Coalesce to transform data from Snowflake and solve data transformation problems, making it easy to create any tables/views needed and generate reports.

 ### 4. Product Offers Data Quality Analytics and Responsive Development for Changing Needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bjorn B. | Data Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Best thing about Synq is that we not only get our daily operations like alerting the right owners handled, but also more analytical insight in the data health, that can be used for reporting data quality insight to c-level. Besides this the team are constantly developing on the tooling and features, to make the product as helpfull and useful as possible. And if we have questions or bugs, the support is really easy to get a hold of and things are being addressed fast.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

The only downside I can come up with, it that because they often develop new features, old features might be deprecated, so ways of working might need to be adjusted according to those.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Synq helps us notify the correct owners of data products as soon as the alert happens. So errors in the data models can be fixed as soon as possible. Besides this the analytical insight gives us the possibility to look a bit deeper into a domain and see how the development of the data quality have been within this domain, to highlight points of interest.

 ### 5. Bulk Editing and Modular Pipelines Make Building Workflows a Breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian K. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

I like the bulk editing abilities the most. A close second is the modular feel when building pipelines.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

Lack of online courses for features. There are webinars and quickstart guides but sometimes i just need a specific deep dive on node types when I'm building it from scratch for the first time.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves generating code when building out entire data warehouses. I have so many features to pick from for just about any use case I have.

 ### 6. Effortless Deployment, Exceptional UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam S. | Finance Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

I like that the UI of Coalesce is great and it's very easy to use. It's also very easy to explain to nontechnical users, which is a big plus. The initial setup is always incredibly easy.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

I think there could be some documentation improvements. I've been saying for years that they should have some sort of role management tool and a little more documentation on how to create custom nodes and what best practices look like.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coalesce solves transformation issues from Snowflake to the reporting layer and is used across numerous projects for our clients' transformation needs.

 ### 7. Great tool for data quality monitoring and lineage across tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Synq is an excellent tool for monitoring data quality issues in dbt, such as failed tests, and for examining data lineage. It enables you to track data flows from their sources, through dbt models and Snowflake tables, all the way to Looker explores, tiles, and dashboards. This is an essential aid when it comes to maintaining models. The team has also been very responsive and of great support in helping us make the most of the tool

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

The website's user interface can be somewhat difficult to navigate. Additionally, the process for triaging issues and marking them as investigating or resolved feels a bit clunky.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SYNQ is solving 2 core problems: it provides a centralized visual hub for failing tests and monitors, helping us identify and solve data quality issues as they arise, and it provides comprehensive lineage of data across tools. In particular, lineage in Looker is quite useful as it easily allows to check where a model is used across all dashboards. It really helps maintenance and checking usage of models.

 ### 8. A great tool with lots of potential

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jules J. | Lead Analytics Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Synq is integrated with all our data stack (github, dbt, Snowflake and Looker) and in an almost seamless way. It help us to maximise our efficienty and minimise the development/maintenance cost by adding an overlay on top of dbt systems (assets, runs, alerts, tags, ...).

For me, the most important features are:
- incident management, centralised our dbt alerts, group them in a smart way and add on top of it a notion of "incident" with downstrams impacts
- data catalogue, with column lineage and nice filters

As a "new competitors" in the market, I also think they want to stay close to their customers, and listen to their feedbacks, which is very nice.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

There are some minor "UX" bugs and inconsistency. Probably because they're more focused on developing their core functionalities rather than the surface layer, but I have no doubt that it will only get better with time (and the overall UX experience is already satisfying).

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provide a "control center" for your data systems, to easily identify, resolve and communicate any problems that may arise.
This helps us to be more efficient, and to implement more robust processes.

 ### 9. Coalesce is a fantastic transformational tool!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Coalesce's intuituve user interface, highly engaged developers making active improvements to the platform, and overall focus on helping us get data transformed in a complex way allowing us to get data in a form we need it to add value to our business, both internally and externally. We use this tool day daily and at times work with Coalesce support to help us build out the platform to our exact needs. Coalesce helped us solve some specific use cases that would not have been doable with other tools on the market. It's also highly configurable so for power users who want to build it's a wonderful solution.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

The platform can be slower with larger environments. The mapped column interface can take a long time to load and be very slow to navigate for larger pipelines and ETLs. I'd like to see the GUI become faster and snappier.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coalesce solves the problem of getting data transformed in our data warehosue. We can build our ETLs with ease in Coalesce in a way that would not be possible with other tools on the market.

 ### 10. Coalesce, the modern Pipeline Development tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

I like that Coalesce is Git forward and intuitive by design. The out of the box nodes account for many common Data Engineering processes AND if you need something that isn't covered, it's simple to script jinja to make the node do what you need it to do. The team supported us every step of the way and the speed at which we were able to implement pipelines in the product was days.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

As a coder, it was tough to adjust to the UI at first, but once I realized the power of the Jinja templates and how I could still code in the backend to make my DAGs even more powerful - it was no longer a downside.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Git Integration lacking in our legacy ETL tool. Cloud-data warehousing first code - leveraging the goodness of Snowflake Cortex AI capabilities in our ETL pipelines.

 ### 11. Gamechanger for pipeline development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David K. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Fastest development tool I have used
Auto documentation
After a pipeline is developed it just keeps going
Native integration of snowflake tools
Nodes are just getting started
Largely plug and play ie very easy to get going

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

I didn't have Coalesce 4 or 5 years ago ;-)

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform enables visual development while providing full access to the generated code. It also seamlessly incorporates a wide range of best practices into our workflow. From our experience, we are now able to scale much more significantly while maintaining excellent control over our pipelines.

 ### 12. Innovative and Agile Product Accelerating Data Activation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Coalesce is an easy to use platform that stays lock step with Snowflake so I'm always able to leverage the latest functionality of Snowflake within my production ready pipelines. There is an active package library that allows me to extend the base functionality of the platform to address more custom use cases and initiatives. Coalesce lowers the barrier of entry for new users accelerating how quickly engineers can ensure data products are ready for consumption. They have excellent customer service and proven results that show they are listening to their users. It has been a pivotal decision for our Snowflake journey that has become foundational in our success.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

Documentation is greatly enhanced through the use of Coalesce catalog but the editor lacks some level of customization found in other platforms. Package updates are frequent, but the effort to make mass adjustments through a large DAG remains cumbersome.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coalesce accelerates how quickly we are moving and transforming data within Snowflake while Catalog is tightly integrated and ensures our stewards are front and center to keep consumers informed of data products. The catalog AI chat bot has been excellent in adding additional transparency to data processes for power users, auditing, and exploration.

 ### 13. Has been a game changer for our team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

We have a broad level of experience on our team, from new-grad to decades of experience. Both are able to use Coalesce in the way they see fit, and Coalesce meets them where they're at....whether it's through the UI or bringing your own code. The support team has been fantastic, and they're constantly adding features to make things more efficient for their end users. Coalesce is also very competitive price-wise with other tools in the same class.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

The online community documentation is still growing, but rapidly catching up.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coalesce helps us keep everything well organized, builds great lineage and allows for unit testing on your most sensitive data sets.

 ### 14. SYNQ allows an easy overview of data quality across the whole data platform at any moment

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Great tool for managing your data platform, ensuring it’s easy to spot when and where things have gone wrong when problems arise. It's integration with dbt means that we can view the data reliability across our whole DAG. The customer support is brilliant and they are always willing to help troubleshoot when needed.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

The UI is not completely intuitive and takes some getting used to. I would say their AI feature is still in the early development phase.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Synq allows us to monitor data quality and reliability across our whole DAG.

 ### 15. Coalesce has been a data transformation savior!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joel S. | Data Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

The UI is very user friendly. Coalesce has pushed many updates since we have onboarded and the quality of life improvement's have been greatly welcomed! The flexibility of Coalesce has helped us move over 100GB of data models from our BI tool into Snowflake in just 6 months with only two data engineers.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

To date I have nothing I dislike about Coalesce. My only complaint or request would be a built in job monitor. In order to be notified if a job fails via email etc.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have only 2 data engineers. We were tasked to move over 100GB worth of data models over to snowflake. Coalesce allowed us to hit our deadline of 6 months. This would have never been possible without Coalesce. We had to move this data while also handling daily business needs. Coalesce allowed us to be flexible and handle these daily needs while also building out over 100GB worth of data models in a short 6 month window. This was a massive win for us as a company as we only had 2 individuals working to get this over the finish line. Without Coalesce this simply would not have been possible to hit our target deadline.

 ### 16. Time savings and useability at the core of Coalesce

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Coalesce feels very intuitive when building. I love that it follows a very straightforward flow, and makes things fast and easy to build. I love the column awareness and the ability to maintain data pipelines with ease.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

I think some improvements can be made around the graph ease to navigate and use. It would be helpful in some cases to have sorting, or organizing capabilities when working with large, complex pipelines. I probably don't leverage the table view as much as I should, but having the graph be a little easier to filter and organize/group would be a quality of life improvement.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to maintain complex data pipelines with ease. It also allows us to implement change control, standard ways of working, and testing into our data pipelines. It saves us time by taking normally complex, time consuming flows and simplifying the development process. We love that it has a ton of flexibility, while still keeping things simple enough to train and onboard a data engineer in a fraction of the time other tools require.

 ### 17. The best data transformation tool to scale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin G. | Sr Solutions Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Coalesce IMO is the best transformation tool in the market. Before selecting them, I did extensive research of the other tools in the space. Some feature that stood out were bulk edit, custom node types, data lineage, rapid deployment and so many more. The people at this company are also wonderful to work with. Integration with snowflake can be achieved within minutes. The ease of use, yet ability to build complex logic makes this stand out.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

They are working on an orchestration tool and their data lineage could use a few minor enhancements (which I think are on the roadmap)

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

On Security, Coalesce and Snowflake authenticate with Snowflake oAuth, which is the highest option available. Coalesce is snowflake native so it supports all features when they are released.

 ### 18. Enabling centralised data quality analytics and alerting with synq

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Synq is an excellent tool for viewing and managing data quality metrics, and it also provides daily alerting. With Synq, we can easily monitor and troubleshoot failures in our sqlmesh models and audits. The Synq team has always been attentive, responding quickly to any issues and providing prompt support.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

One drawback of syqn is the visibility on if all audits are being pulled through

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Synq enables us to consistently meet our data quality metrics and monitor them over time. Additionally, it serves as our alerting tool, allowing us to quickly identify and address any issues that arise.

 ### 19. A centralised hub for data observability within our organisation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rory O. | Analytics Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Synq has significantly streamlined how our team manages and collaborates on data issues across the organisation. It has become an essential part of our workflow by enabling us to quickly respond to, collaborate on, and resolve data issues before they escalate. In particular, its super easy to integrate granular level dbt test alerts and custom Synq monitors into Slack. The tool also empowers both technical and business stakeholders by providing full visibility into data lineage, including column level-lineage, from ingestion to dashboard.

The tool has easily saved us hours of time a week by reducing the volume of ad-hoc queries we recieve and improving the efficeny in which we respond to data incidents.

The team at Synq has been very responsive in developing new features and continually enhancing the tool. Their commitment to supporting us and ensuring we get the most out of the platform has been invaluable.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

While Synq has evolved significantly over the last few years, fully leveraging its improvements requires data teams to invest time in engaging with these updates, which may involve adjustments to existing workflows. To maximize the tool's potential, it's crucial for data teams to secure full buy-in from key stakeholders across the business.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Synq's provides us with a centralised platform for data observatility, that can be used by both technical and business stakeholders. It has significantly streamlined how our team manages and colloborates on data issues - saving hours of time weekly by allowing us to respond to errors as soon test failures occur and colloborate on a fix in a centralised platform. The tool also empowers both technical and business stakeholders by providing full visibility into data lineage, from ingestion to dashboard - reducing the number of ad-hoc queries the data team recieves and freeing up our time to work on other projects.

 ### 20. Supercharging ETL for my Small Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Coalesce's easy to grasp UI and column based lineage along with its snowflake centric approach are its biggest strengths. It allows us to focus on data modeling and less on the syntax. We were able to easily implement our first few models in record time. It easily integrates with our preferred vendor Snowflake which really enhances performance. Finally the standout customer support and onboarding process has been crucial for our continued success.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

There are certain features in the UI that are missing from an ease of use perspective, like an undo button. You have to rely on git commits to ensure you don't lose work.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our first main project using coalesce allowed us to shift a manual process that required hours of intensive manual spreadsheets and automates the data flow to our ERP in under 5 minutes. It enables us to get data to our end users 4x more frequently and enables a better understanding of our companies financials.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Synq helps us keep our data clean and reliable.
We used to struggle with data and transformations tests. Now, with Synq's validation and monitoring tools, we catch issues early, saving us time and effort.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hector O. | Data Scientist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Synq offers a centralised place to monitor the data quality of your data sources, who owns them and provides a very nice alerting system when one of the set-up tests fails. My favourite feature is their "Data Products" where you can define a set of related assets that affect a single product (in our case, ML models).

It was super easy to set it up with Snowflake and DBT as our stack and the technical support from Synq has been amazing. The frequency at which they release features has also been impressive.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

It gets a bit getting used to Synq's "vocabulary" so-to-speak which makes finding a given feature in their website a bit complex sometimes. However, I trust that they'll improve the UX in the future making it easier to use.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Monitoring ongoing issues with our data sources, notifying the relevant owners as well as having an overview of whether products are healthy or not.

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Coalesce provides an interactive GUI for designing, building, deploying, and managing the organisation's transformation rules into our data flows.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

While helpful, the git integration can sometimes be a bit of a challenge to manage (e.g., when wanting to overide any changes in my brnach with that from the master, it won't allow me)

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run a lean team, and that team supports the whole business with their data requests. Coalesce enables us to provide these data services with a team of 2 data engineers/scientists, enabling the business to derive the insights they need for decision making.

- Monitor our core data products and the slack alert really keep us on top of things
- Assist us to debug when things go wrong and see the root cause with their very nice table&column lineage

 ### 49. A reliable tool to maintain data quality

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Synq is very helpful for us in maintaining the data quality & managing the stability. Synq alerts us the unexpected errors and is seamlessly integrated with other tools to notify us what the issue is, what is the latest state of the issue etc.,

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

Can't think-off any. It is very easy & reliable.

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Synq to help us identify the quality issues in our data modelling mainly by notifying us of the errors in primary keys. By this way, we get to address the errors and hence stay on top of our data modelling.

 ### 50. End-to-End Observability for Most of Our Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Hardware | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Coalesce?**

Integrates nicely with most tools we use: Slack, dbt, BigQuery, Looker etc. End to end observability makes it much easier to keep track of what data we use and where we use it. Column level lineage is a game changer for observability through our layers. Makes us able to better decentralise responsibility of both creating and following up alerts as well as notifying consumers of failing data. Nice that they listen to feedback from their users.

**What do you dislike about Coalesce?**

The product is still a little young with some bugs and it still changes a lot in the UI. But I appreciate that it’s fast moving and bugs are disappearing!

**What problems is Coalesce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us check if data is used downstream, if data is either stale or wrong, and it helps us better communicate errors to maintainers of data and stakeholders
