  ### 1. Modern Interface, But Lacks Key Finance Features and Support for Canadian Schools

**What do you like best about Classter?**

I like how modern Classter is compared to other systems. This modern design saves me less time spent trying to find features.

**What do you dislike about Classter?**

We spent several months evaluating Classter, including multiple discussions, internal approvals and preparation to move forward. As a private Christian school in Canada, tax receipting is a standard requirement, not a unique or specialized request.   This applies broadly across Canadian private schools and colleges, where issuing tax receipts is a part of normal operations and compliance.  After months of engagement, we were informed that Classer would not move forward with us due to size and this requirement. This resulted in significant lost time and required us to restart the search process.  If you are a Canadian private school or college that requires tax receipting, I would not recommend investing time in this platform.

**What problems is Classter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Classter helps manage student information efficiently, and its modern design reduces the time I spend finding features.

**What do you like best about Classter?**

Classter has a lot of usability that you can grow into. Every year we develop our use and function of Classter. It is helping us streamline a lot of our internal processes. Classter has a lot of integrations available, which we hope to start using in future.

**What do you dislike about Classter?**

While Classter can do a LOT! It can be tricky and time consuming to get it designed and functioning the way we need it to. We've needed the Classter support team to 'fix' more than one item that should work upon turning on that doesn't. The support team are great and quick - it's just frustrating to have to rely on them when adding a feature to our processes.

**What problems is Classter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Classter is our application, grades and class management systems. This reduces the need for redundant records in multiple places and formats.

Some of the reports need customisation, but the Classter team was able to do them.

Classter is very comprehensive and user friendly. I highly recommend it for any educational institution.

At times we had difficulties with scheduling as our schedules overlap sessions. But support was there to help us through it.

managing the inscription and admissions proceses and keeping track of attendance and schedules and student marks and exams.

**What do you like best about Classter?**

The thing I like best about Classter is being able to have access to so much information in one place and being able to filter, see history, and customize the database according to preference.

**What do you dislike about Classter?**

The biggest challenge for me was the onboarding processes.  Our institution's structure is somewhat different than the traditional school model and finding the configuration and processes to meet our needs took some time and had its share of growing pains.

**What problems is Classter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Classter has helped us to have all of our student and financial information in one place.  This has aided with ease of access and has facilitated regular and reliable student reporting and tracking of grades, attendance, etc..

**What do you like best about Classter?**

As a CRM administrator it's the first time in my CRM/ERP experience that I encounter such a helpfull and to the point support. I was introduced to classter while my school was already using it so I was happy to work with the support team not only for assistance but also to suggest improvements.

From a user perspective its a relative easy and straightforward application that handles also well in everyday use but also during high peak season.

**What do you dislike about Classter?**

Some reports especially in the logistics and finance section could use a bit of tweaking. Since though the Finance department is very demanding on the way results are displayed and with the amount of info they can get from a single screen its a common dislike across many platforms besides Classter.

**What problems is Classter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since I started working at my school with Classter already implemented I cannot compare the previous situation with the current state of use.

Classter is very intuitive and easy to use for students and lecturers. The Dashboard is particularly good at this.

The back end admin takes a bit of time to get used to, but the Classter support team is very patient and helpful.

Classter provides a reliable and engaging Learner Management System for our students and lecturers. A secure, online home-base for content, resources, assignments and results.

**What do you like best about Classter?**

Classter has a wide variety of functionality to help manage many aspects of higher education. It is very customizable and has helped us improve our admissions process. We have accurate data on hand for students and their enrolments, plus it handles billing. We are also able to manage feedback and student surveys. Their support team is fantastic and very responsive. They work to help you succeed. I've appreciated working with them over this past year.

**What do you dislike about Classter?**

We had problems with how Classter interfaced with Moodle (our VLE). However, Classter was happy to develop better functionality to improve this. While we have run into some issues (as you will with any product), I have found their support team very helpful to work with to find solutions.

**What problems is Classter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Classter everyday and could not manage without it!  With our previous software, only a limited number of staff could access the system and it had no student portal.  Now all of our staff can see the information they need. Billing is integrated on the student portal, and student data can be managed in one place. It is very handy, that with one click I am able to export a spreadsheet from any of the student list views.  I can provide much more accurate data quickly for analysis and decision making. With our previous system, we were not confident of the data and running reports was cumbersome, so this is a huge imporvement.

In addition, our admissions process has been transformed. We are able to track students by status throughout their admissions journey and keep all their documents and messages attached on their record.  Applicants have their own portal to track their progress and then accept the offer. Once accepted and enrolled, students can then access our integrated platform (with Moodle and email) through single sign on with Microsoft 365. This is a great benefit for ease of use for our students. 

It is also good value and they keep improving the product. We look forward to increased use of the functionality of Classter and seeing how it helps grow our enrolments.

The CEFAM is a school based on the American academic system, and CLASSTER meets our academic needs exactly. Having a portal for each user (admin, teachers, students, and parents) is very convenient and saves us time. The flexibility of the tool is also an advantage.

A little less suited to French standards (in terms of administration and accounting).

Live tracking of grades and financial statements for students. Access to all necessary information for teachers.

**What do you like best about Classter?**

I love that customer support they teach you how to use the backend of the system to equip you with the tools to continue to make changes as you move toward a student information system that best suits your school. Whilst this might not make the easiest of implementation as they teach you how to implement the software to the liking of your school, it does take some time to learn and then subsequently implement changes. Ease of integration and ease of use is second to none.

**What do you dislike about Classter?**

Some of the fields and sections that might be unnecessary cannot be removed, but rather stay and are just left unused, but that isn't make or break. However, as your frequency of use increaces you will start to overlook those fields.

**What problems is Classter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Classter allows the use of a SIS, CRM, LMS, Billing all in one. It doesn't have to be the be all and end all, however it combines enough systems into one, that it allows efficiencies in day to day tasks.

Classter mainly solves automation probles, files in multiple locations, students did not have easy acces to their grades, schedule, training material, teachers used multiple softwares daily and admission was manages manually and in person

**What do you like best about Classter?**

Classter is a simple and efficient system and makes previously tankless tasks like attendance tracking, report card generation and so on a lot more straightforward. The customer service and Engineering teams are also very responsive and friendly.

**What do you dislike about Classter?**

I don't really have many downsides. One possible room for improvement may be that it would be nice to make things like report configurations maybe more configurable by the users themselves rather than needing engineering support always. However, I don't know how easy that would be.

Because it is so detailed and customizable it takes quite a long time to configure and set up for use.

The posibility to co-develop and create a sys that fits organizational needs.

The tickets take time resolving and are returned with mistakes, this requires an internal person to be in constant contact with Classter. It is co-development in this sense as well. If you have an employee you can spare, it works great.

We have a very particula curriculum and Classter can adapt to it.
