**Reviewed by:** George Picado P. | Technical Support Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Cisco Physical Security Solution?**

What I like best about Cisco Physical Security Solution is that it makes the software easier to support and manage from an IT side. As an IT technician at my company, I help users with configurations, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting when something is not working correctly. Access to view each camera is easy. The platform feels stable and helps keep physical security tools more organized, which makes support easier and faster.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Physical Security Solution?**

What I dislike is that some configurations can feel a little confusing at first, especially for end users who are not very familiar with the system. Sometimes support takes extra time because users need help finding the correct settings or understanding the options. Overall, it works well, but the interface could be a bit more user-friendly and easier to navigate.

**What problems is Cisco Physical Security Solution solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cisco Physical Security Solution is solving the problem of keeping physical security systems organized and easier to support. It helps reduce confusion with configurations, makes troubleshooting faster, and gives IT a better way to help end users when they have access or setup issues.

  ### 2. Managing 100+ cameras feels more controlled with Cisco

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley H. | IT network admin at Maidensys, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Cisco Physical Security Solution?**

As an IT Network Administrator managing the security environment for around 450 employees Cisco Physical Security Solution has been a solid platform for our daily operations. We regularly use the centralized video management console, ai motion analytics, smart event search, role based access control and camera health monitoring. Recently an after hours access alert was flagged by the ai and we located the exact footage from over 120 cameras in under 2 minutes without reviewing hours of recordings. The platform integrates seamlessly with Cisco Catalyst, Cisco ISE, and Active Directory making authentication and policy management consistent across our environment. Video playback remains reliable during busy hours and firmware updates have been smooth. The onboarding guides were detailed, Cisco support has been knowledgeable whenever we needed configuration assistance and the ongoing ai improvements continue to strengthen the platform while it is a premium Solution, the reliability, security and enterprise grade capabilities fully justify the investment for our organization.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Physical Security Solution?**

In our organization we manage physical security for around 500 employee using Cisco Physical Security Solution and i have very few complaints. One area i'd like to see improved is more customizable ai alert rules for different security scenarios without extra configuration. We manage 100+ cameras integrated with Cisco ISE and Active Directory and the platform has remained stable throughout. Cisco support has been knowledgeable whenever deployment guidance was needed, so this is more of a feature request than a real drawback. Overall my experience has been excellent.

**What problems is Cisco Physical Security Solution solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously had to switch between different systems to verify security incidents and confirm user access records. Cisco Physical Security Solution brought our 108 cameras and access events into one platform for around 500 employees. During one weekend door access alert, the ai event search matched the correct cameras clip in less than 90 seconds making the investigation much faster. We also use Cisco ISE and Active Directory integration for user authentication. The deployment documentation was detailed support engineers resolved our configuration queries quickly and the investment has delivered strong long term value for our security operations.

  ### 3. Best-in-Class IP Security That Passes Every Compliance Audit

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle C. | Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Cisco Physical Security Solution?**

I like that it’s been the best security or IP security that our firm has ever used and experienced. It passes all audits and exams for compliance. We have not had a data leak since using it to my knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Physical Security Solution?**

I think the only qualm or issue I have with it is that it’s very focused around its own ecosystem and its not learning from other platforms or AI focused platforms to better its own for clients.

**What problems is Cisco Physical Security Solution solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves everything from operational and compliance problems. It gives visibility to incidents and responses in line with compliance protocols. It solves our fragmented system that’s old and dated.

  ### 4. Powerful, centralized physical security for large enterprises

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anar O. | Information Technology Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Cisco Physical Security Solution?**

From a network standpoint, it's just a solid ecosystem. The fact that the physical security software communicates seamlessly with our Cisco switches and routers makes deployment much easier. The bandwidth management for 4K camera streams is excellent, meaning it doesn't choke our corporate network traffic. It is expensive, but you are paying for unmatched uptime, great firmware support, and high-level cybersecurity.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Physical Security Solution?**

I would say high cost of licensing and it's hard to learn for non-technical staff. It can be quite heavy on network bandwidth and server storage, especially if you are running multiple high-definition 4K camera streams simultaneously. If your underlying network infrastructure isn't fully optimized or up to date, you might experience slight latency when loading live feeds remotely.

**What problems is Cisco Physical Security Solution solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our main issue was meeting strict industry compliance laws regarding data protection and physical facility security. Older surveillance systems are highly vulnerable to hacking, but Cisco solved that by treating physical security with the same strict cyber-defense protocols as our regular network. It keeps our surveillance data heavily encrypted, which protects us from data breaches and keeps our legal compliance team completely satisfied.

  ### 5. Smooth, Reliable Cisco Solution with a Natural, All-in-One View

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahmad J. | ICT Specialist 2, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

It removes the hassle of juggling separate security systems. By bringing smart cameras, door hardware , and sensors together in one place, it enables faster responses, clearer visibility, and simpler day-to-day management.

  ### 6. Seamless, All-in-One Physical Security Ecosystem with a True Single Pane of Glass

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Cisco Physical Security Solution?**

What I like most about Cisco's Physical Security Solution is how cohesively everything fits into a single ecosystem, rather than feeling like a collection of separate tools bolted together. The integration across video surveillance, access control, and the underlying network infrastructure feels seamless, which makes day-to-day monitoring and incident response much easier to handle from one central, single pane of glass.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Physical Security Solution?**

Honestly, the cost is probably my biggest gripe. Once you factor in licensing, hardware, and the ongoing subscription fees for cloud management, it adds up fast—especially for smaller organizations or when you’re trying to scale across multiple sites. At times, it feels like you’re constantly paying just to unlock things that really should be included in the first place.

**What problems is Cisco Physical Security Solution solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem it’s solved for us is unifying physical security monitoring across multiple locations into one centralized system. Before, we were dealing with disconnected cameras, access control panels, and alert systems that didn’t talk to each other, which made it difficult to get a complete picture of what was happening in real time.

Now that everything is integrated, our incident response is much faster. If there’s an unauthorized access attempt or another security event, we can pull up video and access logs together immediately, instead of having to piece things together from separate systems. That has significantly reduced our investigation time.

The remote management side has been a major benefit as well. Being able to monitor and manage security across sites without needing someone physically on-site at each location has saved us time and reduced staffing costs.

Overall, it’s given us better visibility, quicker response, and more confidence that we’re not missing something simply because a system didn’t get checked.

  ### 7. Centralized Management and Seamless Oversight

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Cisco Physical Security Solution?**

I liked that Cisco Physical Security Solution centralized the management of multiple sites with different camera systems into one single interface, which made it easier for our security teams and monitoring oversight. It was reassuring to know that the commitment to safety and security of the employees and people in the buildings was protected and in line with our institution's values, ensuring we felt safe and secure. Having confidence that during events and community activities, the system could monitor, record, and provide needed footage for review made it very valuable. It was just one less headache because it was easy for our security team to use.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Physical Security Solution?**

In a community building, it involves multiple setups which can become costly, as you have to service the cameras in the parking, and all areas of the building. Better to have a budget in advance.

**What problems is Cisco Physical Security Solution solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cisco Physical Security Solution centralizes management across sites, simplifying oversight. It logs and archives video surveillance, accelerating investigations and ensuring safety during events, reducing stress for our security team.

  ### 8. Efficient Security with Easy Setup, Occasional Subscription Hassles

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Cisco Physical Security Solution?**

I use Cisco Physical Security Solution to replace legacy CCTV with intelligent IP cameras like Meraki, which helps with storage management problems by reducing the valuable rack space needed and eliminating the centralized recorder through edge storage. One feature I really like is being able to draw a bounding box over a specific area in the frame to instantly identify the exact seconds a specific event occurs, like when a door is breached. This feature is particularly useful when trying to pinpoint when something went missing, without having to scrub through days of footage. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Cisco Physical Security Solution?**

Every single camera and sensor requires an active individual subscription.

**What problems is Cisco Physical Security Solution solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Cisco Physical Security Solution to replace legacy CCTV with intelligent IP cameras. It solves storage management problems by eliminating valuable rack space and centralized recorders. I like how it surfaces exact moments by drawing a bounding box, saving time sifting through footage.
