ChurchPlan is built the other way around: the congregation-facing app is the front door, so members update their own details, give, register for events, and follow their parish's calendar and liturgical schedule in the same place. What the office sees is a member and family record that stays current without anyone chasing it. The platform covers giving and finance, members and families CRM, outreach and pastoral care, events and ticketing, automatic tax receipts, calendar and scheduling, ministries and services, education and curriculum, liturgies and worship services, announcements and notifications, church website publishing, and the compliance record-keeping that comes with being a registered charity. Receipting is issued automatically to charitable-receipting standards, which matters for Canadian parishes filing under CRA rules and for churches operating across multiple jurisdictions. What stands out most is having one system for giving, events, communications, ministries, and member management instead of using several separate programs. The mobile app is especially helpful for keeping our congregation connected, and the ChurchPlan team has been very responsive to our needs. **What do you dislike about ChurchPlan?** I wish the Sunday School curriculum were included in the free tier. That said, the free plan already includes a custom app, unlimited members, and tax receipts, so I really can’t complain! :) **What problems is ChurchPlan solving and how is that benefiting you?** ChurchPlan solves the problem of having to use multiple systems to manage our church. We can handle donations, tax receipts, events, member information, announcements, ministries, and communication all in one place. The biggest benefit is that it reduces administrative work and eliminates duplicate data entry.
