The platform makes it easy to track equity grants, vesting schedules, and ownership details without relying on manual spreadsheets. I also appreciate the clear dashboards and the way it presents information. Everything feels easy to understand even if you don’t use it every day. **What do you dislike about Certent Equity Management?** One thing I find a bit frustrating is that some features are not very intuitive at first, so there’s a bit of a learning curve. The navigation can feel a little clunky when switching between reports or detailed views. It would be great if some of the processes were simplified or better explained with inline tips. **What problems is Certent Equity Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** Certent helps solve the problem of tracking and managing complex equity information. Before using it, managing multiple grant types and vesting schedules in spreadsheets was time-consuming and error-prone. Now, everything is updated in real time, and I can quickly check equity details for employees without digging through multiple files. Also, our CSM, Tina Carlson, is fabulous. She is extremely knowledgeable and is always able to resolve any issues or provide guidance when requested. She is also very responsive so no long wait times. **What do you dislike about Certent Equity Management?** The only thing I can think of is that I would like to see us get the ability to assign tax withholding rates to individuals that will be applied to all of their transactions without having to submit a template each time there is a transaction. **What problems is Certent Equity Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are no problems at this time. ### 3. Their top-notch customer service, especially the continuity of working with our dedicated Client Services Manager, Tina Carlson, is greatly appreciated. She's always been prompt with addressing any concerns and resolving our needs. Our employees really enjoy the system because it's easy to use and they can view their option grants at any point in time and easily make a transaction. **What do you dislike about Certent Equity Management?** I don't have any significant concerns with their system. **What problems is Certent Equity Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** Certent helps us by generating our monthly cap table as well as facilitating the entire option process (from granting, acceptance of the grant and exercise of options). Our Certent team gives us the time and attention to complete all activities on a weekly or monthly basis. We have recently started to forecast stock comp expense as well. ### 10. The feature to save your favorite reports helps to make weekly or monthly tasks more efficient. I have also had a great customer support experience - our representative is very responsive in getting us the help we need and makes us feel like we're her only client. **What do you dislike about Certent Equity Management?** Sometimes there are errors in reports or discrepancies between our records and accounting that are only discovered once something goes awry. However, this has only happened 1-2 times in the 9 months I've used Certent and has never been significant. **What problems is Certent Equity Management solving and how is that benefiting you?** Certent Equity Management helps with 3 primary functions for me: managing our equity incentive plan, employee stock purchase plan, and SEC reporting. We have RSU vestings multiple times a week and Certent makes it a breeze. The process is very smooth and efficient. And at quarter-end or year-end, reports from Certent make our lives much easier from an SEC reporting perspective.
