Platform is easy to use even for a lay person (I am an administrator, but don't have a deep background in finance/investment) and most importantly the customer service is outstanding! I get responses back always same day usually within a matter of hours, and I've not had any question or issue that was not solved in a short time frame with excellent support! I do find that when people receive their welcome emails with login credentials that the first time login and password reset process is a bit "klunky." New users seem to lock themselves out routinely as they often confuse their USER ID (which is auto-generated and sent to them in their welcome email) with their email - so they type their email into the "USERID" field and get stuck. I wonder if the USER ID field on the login screen could in fact be their email on file - that might be less confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They have a strong and efficient back office. Any issues or requests are typically addressed in under 24 hours, and many are resolved within just a couple of hours. Their online portal is generally intuitive in many respects and is easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The reporting is the primary issue that I would raise. While there are a lot of different reports, many are not intuitive based on the report name, and many reports will provide different outputs depending on how you run them. The best thing about Certent Equity Management is how it keeps all equity information organized in one place. The platform makes it easy to track equity grants, vesting schedules, and ownership details without relying on manual spreadsheets. One thing I find a bit frustrating is that some features are not very intuitive at first, so there’s a bit of a learning curve. The navigation can feel a little clunky when switching between reports or detailed views. It would be great if some of the processes were simplified or better explained with inline tips. The only thing I can think of is that I would like to see us get the ability to assign tax withholding rates to individuals that will be applied to all of their transactions without having to submit a template each time there is a transaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
