Centric PLM is a modern system with the ability to search and find created products and materials quickly on a global scale. The OOTB features, with respect to color management are critical for our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The reporting tools and the 'look' of the data packages is not as customizable as I would like. I hit walls when I ask if we can remove a certain heading (like "Multi-level placements from the BOM section"). We cannot use some of these reports as a customer facing document because they are not professional looking enough. I would like to explore Document Generator Tool, but no one yet seems to know how it works. I also want to find out how "Similar Styles" works, but again, there is very little knowledge of how this can be set up or used when asking the Centric trainers and support team. I've had a positive experience using Centric PLM overall. However, one area that needs improvement is data import flexibility. There is a steep learning curve with the user navigation. Moving through the software at times feels counter intuitive and it is easy to get lost. I think by implementing some UI best-practices as well as adding more visual cues could really benefit the ease of use of the software.

In future states I would also like to see a most robust chat/communication tool. We often find ourselves still using email to communicate when long threads are necessary. Having this communication live in Centric in the future would be ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Since I am new to the system, I liked learning the process on how a style is created and the different tools that you can use to adjust your view and make your projects suitable for you.
