The platform is ideal for B-to-B industrial products. It is flexible to set it up with your product category structure and with as many attributes per product that you need. Our platform support contact is excellent - very knowledgeable on the platform and readily available to discuss any issues or ideas to improve the platform. There can be glitches in the platform with things that are supposed to work and do not - however, the support staff is generally quick to fix them. Development of any new functionality you want can take a very long time and/or Catsy may say no to the idea altogether. I have experience with several PIM/DAM solutions, the most outstanding areas for Catsy include 1) the UX of the platform which is intuitive, simple and easy to use 2) the team / support who are flexible and genuinely interested in improving the system to work with our business and 3) the focus on connecting the last leg of getting data from manufacturer to distributor platforms which helps make my team's job much, much easier. I love the flexibility and ease of using the Catsy DAM & PIM portal. It allows us to manage our data more efficiently and avoid costly errors when updating data manually. The integration with our ERP system is very convenient for getting our data and setting up our channels to distribute it. Catsy automates our databases and serves as one source of truth. Catsy integrates seamlessly with Shopify for features that Shopify itself won't support unless you've got a dedicated IT team. I also love that product data is managed in the cloud - saves money on IT as we don't have a dedicated department. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Catsy works really well overall, but it can be a bit tricky to get used to at first. Some features take a little time to figure out, and the interface could be a bit more intuitive. I find that Catsy DAM & PIM provides a very smooth setup experience. It's straightforward and easy to understand how it works, which I appreciate. I love that it's possible to have all our data centralized in one place, which allows us to easily share information with customers and update our website. The system's capability to import and update data quickly for a large number of products is incredibly valuable. I'm particularly impressed with how easy it is to manage data, including exporting and creating templates for customers. These features make the process less time-consuming and more efficient. The platform's usability and the training I received made it simple to dive into using the software quickly, transitioning smoothly from our previous platform. I find that the conversion between metric and imperial measurements could be improved for smoother usability. It's a small detail for us, but having this feature would make the process easier. Beyond being fast and agile, their team truly understands the industrial B2B space, where product selection often involves more complex, technical attributes than just size or color. Catsy has streamlined the end-to-end product launch process from the initial ERP set up to asset and metafield import to international pricing updates.
