Their support team is highly responsive and are able to go through all of the capabilities and features of the platform with you from day one. It was easy to integrate into our systems. **What do you dislike about CareerEco?** Nothing at this time. CareerEco does a great job with their events. **What problems is CareerEco solving and how is that benefiting you?** CareerEco is allowing us to host our large events on a virtual platform, opening up our staff to focus on student needs and marketing the event rather than staffing the event on the day of. ### 2. Their team was helpful, flexible, and knowledgeable leading up to the event, and the event was well-supported by CareerEco staff during the event. In current times, it is imperative to reach students where they are rather than assuming they have the ability to travel to in-person events--and the same is true for recruiters who have seen acaedmic budgets cuts. In this way, it is an affordable option for all. We will be using them again! **What do you dislike about CareerEco?** Because the platform is web-based and proprietary, there is some learning curve on using it, as well as supporting your exhibitors and students who are using it for the first time. **What problems is CareerEco solving and how is that benefiting you?** They help us as an association bring together graduate programs and prospective students for benefit of all. ### 3. Having the attendee profiles available even after the event is a definite plus. The staff are super-helpful and always respond (mostly with positive news) within 1-2 business days. **What do you dislike about CareerEco?** The group rooms have a restriction of 200 people at a time. Setting up the time slot for each room was a bit cumbersome as it followed certain rules. **What problems is CareerEco solving and how is that benefiting you?** Trying to recruit scientists from around the world for various positions across St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. ### 5. They provide training on their product to all parties involved in events. We are a large school division, and they successfully navigated any issues with all parties before and during the event. The platform itself is easy to navigate. Candidates were able to quickly and successfully connect with our hiring managers for interviews. The CareerEco team modified their product to suit our needs. **What do you dislike about CareerEco?** Candidates register for an event and then have to go back and log in to sign up for an interview time slot. Many candidates were confused about this process, even though we followed up with them via email. We strongly recommend modifying the login as a one-stop-shop sign-up for events and time slots. The reporting features could be a little more detailed with simple dashboards or options to export in anything other than .csv file. We would have loved a quick and easy visual for seeing how many candidates registered and attended the event. We would love a feature to be able to email registered candidates within the platform for reminders and missing registration items (resumes, etc.). **What problems is CareerEco solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to connect and interview candidates locally and outside our area. ### 7. The platform as a whole is easy to use and enjoyed by both employers and students. Emma Briggette was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with before, during, and after the event. It is helpful to see how many students are in a chat room before entering the room to speak with employers. **What do you dislike about CareerEco?** We don't have any complaints at this time and plan to use CareerEco in the future should we still host virtual fairs. **Recommendations to others considering CareerEco:** I highly recommend using CareerEco for virtual events. **What problems is CareerEco solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used the platform as a university to host a Summer Job and Career Fair for students to connect with employers and find jobs. Some platforms can be challenging to use, but the employers and students who attended the fair were able to navigate the platform and connect with one another easily. This is helpful to us in terms of providing a time and place for employers and students to connect. ### 9. They reached out to all our consortium participants to help make this an excellent event. **What do you dislike about CareerEco?** Integration with our main jobs software, Handshake, was not evident to our students...but I know that with a consortium many schools use different job products. **Recommendations to others considering CareerEco:** Highly recommended-will strongly consider for our next event. **What problems is CareerEco solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were disappointed in our consortium turnout, but that was not any fault of Career Eco-but there was a clear benefit to getting the schools appearing to work together. ### 10. She was also available to problem solve. The platform has everything you need for a successful Networking event. The automated notifications that go out to participants are very handy and one less thing to worry about. The training that the CareerEco Team provided helped exhibitors navigate the platform well! **What do you dislike about CareerEco?** Everything worked fine for us at the event. However, the exhibitor registration could've been smoother - Sign up and register at the same time, maybe? As the host of the event - it would also be nice to see employer registrations in real-time instead of waiting to see if they've been approved. It caused some confusion among the employers. **What problems is CareerEco solving and how is that benefiting you?** Virtual networking and Hiring - it's easier and inclusive! It's the way to go. ### 11. We also loved that you can interact with candidates before during and after the event with all their data stored on the platform. We also love how we can create adorable booths to show personalized characters of campuses and departments. **What do you dislike about CareerEco?** The main issue that was not most favorable was to correct user errors and not having the ability to troubleshoot ourselves to help them. Some team members are not technically advance and were having many issues with registering correctly. **Recommendations to others considering CareerEco:** If you are thinking about using a virtual platform, I would recommend Career Eco for small or big entities like school districts. It was easy to use made it fun for our district and candidates. Gave us an option we would have never thought to use years ago. You will love it! **What problems is CareerEco solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using Career Eco this year allowed us to have a true career job fair that mimic our face to face event with all our campuses and departments available all in one place. They saved us money and eliminated unwanted waste such as food, security, paper, etc. It was better for the candidates that did not have to travel. One stop shop before during and after ability to interact with candidates. ### 12. The only limitation of the site is when attendees or company reps don't read or follow the directions sent out to them in advance, but this is true of all products like CareerEco's. **What problems is CareerEco solving and how is that benefiting you?** I like how quick, easy, and intuitive it is for company reps and attendees to hop into CareerEco and immediately connect without any software to download, and I really like how much contact via email CareerEco facilitates for their events, which helps our Marketing team not be overwhelmed by auto-emails they have to send out. ### 14. On the days of our events, they are always at the ready, available to support our teams with any technical issues that may arise. The leadership team at Career Eco is also great to work with professionally and personally. Career Eco has become a trusted platform for our teams and medical schools to recruit future students. **What do you dislike about CareerEco?** At this time, there is nothing to note that we dislike about the platform. If there were something we did dislike, I have full confidence that the team at Career Eco would work tirelessly to help us address it and find a solution. **What problems is CareerEco solving and how is that benefiting you?** Career Eco has made hosting virtual events a seamless process. By hosting virtual events, we have effectively made educational events about our profession much more accessible than in-person events are. The events we host are free to the student and can be entered/accessed on the participants' time, according to their schedule. ### 15. Overall evaluations from candidates and recruiters have been very positive! **What do you dislike about CareerEco?** It would be helpful to have the option to allow more than one interviewer during interview sessions. **What problems is CareerEco solving and how is that benefiting you?** CareerEco allowed us to hold our teaching job fair virtually.
