Nothing, they are not user friendly and they bill for stuff they have no reason to

Everything, they are expensive and are not user friendly. Their customer service is a joke and fradulantly bill and renew contracts with no ones permission

They should be able to cancel anytime and be forthcoming with renewing contracts.

**What do you like best about CareAcademy?**

Care Academy has been wonderful in staying within compliance with state regulations. Care Academy has a variety of classes to offer with different levels to keep employees engaged. Care Academy is one of the best I have found out there for caregivers. The cost is great, material is wonderful and ease of use is good.

**What do you dislike about CareAcademy?**

The downside that I have seen with Care Academy is the fact that it can have glitches so caregivers may have to complete a course more than once. The other issue is we have had trouble connecting it to our platform but once it is, I have heard it will make it even easier for the caregivers to use. I do also think it would be great if Care Academy found a way to incorporate other pieces like games, or questions with a little more interaction for engagement. It is also a little difficult to speak with someone when having issues.

Care Academy is helping our caregivers meet the state mandated education requirement to perform caregiving duties in the state of Oregon. That benefits us by allowing us to keep them employed.

**What do you like best about CareAcademy?**

CareAcademy is super user friendly, it is very easy to add/remove new users.  I have had lots of positive feedback from our employees on the UI and user experience.  I personally like the fact that it makes it so easy to keep us compliant with our licensure.  The customer service team is always very responsive when I have questions, and extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about CareAcademy?**

The only downside that I have noted is that billing can be a little difficult to understand.  I reached out to our sales rep and they were able to explain it to me.

**What problems is CareAcademy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CareAcademy makes it so easy to keep us in compliance. They do all of the footwork for us and make sure that the trainings that are offered meet the requirements of our state.

What I like best about CareAcademy is that we get to see what caregivers do about their assigned training. It reduces the burden of the HR/Training department to search for courses to prep.

Give me a minute to think about that! ..Nothing.

The annual training requirements for our caregivers are crucial to the DHSS yearly survey.

I love the ease of care academy. I also like that I can create my own cirriculums and add/deactivate staff as needed.

I do wish there was a paper format to use as well for our technology hinderd employees.

Care Academy takes the pressure off of only in house training. It allows us to follow up with in house training much easier and time allotted.

Any question or concern I have has been addressed from a staff member that is well-trained and anxious to help.  The phone is answered promptly and I am confident I will be informed of the best resolution possible.

Instead of only having text as an option to communicate with our Care Academy students, email would be far more preferred.

Care Academy offers a class curriculum that ensures all of our students receive standardized training.  Care Academy also has an extensive library available so each student can pursue specialized courses to best suit their interests and needs.

There are quite a range of classes including initial training, yearly training and CEUs.

**What do you dislike about CareAcademy?**

Way too many emails reminding account holders to do their educations. Also, the due date for classes tend to be overlooked because of so many emails saying things are due by the end of the month and are not attached to individual classes.

CareAcademy has been great with trobleshooting.

The virutal class room is a convenient way to offer the initial Home Maker training course and ongoing ceu training for our cna's.

**What do you dislike about CareAcademy?**

The software program often gets stuck and a lot of time is wasted on working out the kinks.

**What problems is CareAcademy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can train our Home Makers without having to schedule a live class and trainer.  It's also easy to see the progress for each caregiver.

**What do you like best about CareAcademy?**

I use the courses from Care Academy all the time. I have to keep up my CEU's and I like to keep updated and my caregivers updated on homecare issues. They need to know how to handle certain types of client's with different disease processes, so they get training as needed.

**What do you dislike about CareAcademy?**

Some of the courses are too long and there is too much information given to you at one time. There needs to be little quizzes in between when the information is so intense to review the information you have just read.  It is not easy to retain tons of information at one time, especially in the administration courses.

I am not sure there is anything being solved that I am aware of.

The program is very user-friendly and has a lot of valuable training material for keeping your employees up to date on all required training. Meets state requirements for CEU's as well.

**What do you dislike about CareAcademy?**

Multiple dashboard navigation can get frustrating. Especially when you are attempting to locate a current or former employee, and you are not sure which dashboard they are assigned to.

Helps with meeting the annual training requirements the state has for healthcare employees. Also makes it easy to get out new training and policy information to employees simultaneously with the ability to track completion/acknowledgment.

Provides a detailed catalog of classes and training material to choose from that is well thought out, and the program is very user-friendly. The ease of use helps make this training more available to demographics that may struggle with this type of learning.

It can be difficult to locate deactivated users if you have multiple dashboards. It would help if when the system notifies you that the user is already in the system that it tells you where to look.

CareAcademy is currently growing the number of classes they offer in multiple languages. This increases the pool of applicants that we are able to hire from,  CareAcademy training is a mandatory part of our onboarding process.

The training modules are fabulous.
This is what caregivers need training on elder abuse, fall prevention, personal care & Elder Abuse.
We want to make sure our staff are fully trained in assisting seniors.

Our employees seem to like it, the courses are comprehensive ( a lot of relevant content), and it's user friendly from an administrative standpoint.

Some employees don't participate, we think due to no wifi and lack of time.

User friendly for my office and for the caregiver. Customer service is terrific, knowledgeable, and quick to respond via email or phone.

I have not had any issues with the program or services provided, so NO complaints or dislikes.

I can provide training for new employees and continued education for the present employees.  The programs that CareAcademy offers give me the ability to hire more. It also provides a stepping stone to my employees who want to further their education. And so much more.

That there are lots of training opportunities that we can provide for our caregivers! It has lots of different topics. If someone is going in with a new client, we can provide different training opportunities based on the care needed.

There is a limit of seats. We were under the impression it was 5 at a time, any amount per month. But a limit to 5 seats a month is not enough for the price we are paying.

CareAcademy is solving the problems of lack of training. It is solving it by providing easy to use training opportunities for our caregiving team. We enjoy the videos by Teepa Snow as well!

CareAcademy is easy to use, and accessible to our caregivers, and the reports are perfectly detailed!

It would be nice to have a report generated that can be an excel file. I would like to see how many caregivers have completed what class.

Care Academy keeps track of training for each employee. This helps with record keeping and verification of training for our home care license.

Not as intuitive to set up. Once set up it works automatic.

**What do you like best about CareAcademy?**

I enjoy the flexibility of choosing courses to assign our staff which meets the needs of our particular clients. I've taken many of the courses myself, and they're detailed oriented and can be applied for our caregivers working with seniors. We receive positive feedback from our caregivers, stating the courses are helpful and they learn so much!

**What do you dislike about CareAcademy?**

I wish there were options to pick and choose courses within the purchase package. Some of the courses in our package we will never use. It would be nice to have the option to select additional courses in place of these.

**What problems is CareAcademy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I haven't run into too many problems with CareAcademy. The main one I need help with is when caregivers run out of attempts to pass a course. The live chat feature through CareAdademy is beneficial. I can send them an instant chat, and they respond within a few minutes to assist. Their staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.

**What do you like best about CareAcademy?**

I love that the videos are made with in-home caregivers as our Angels are all working in homes with their clients. The supervisors' advice to caregivers in the video is similar to the language we use in the field. Everything is up-to-date and new classes are always beneficial to our team.

**What do you dislike about CareAcademy?**

I wish that the reporting was easier to do. At this time, I have to run a report of all classes completed, then filter for caregivers. I'm hoping that this will improve in the next year.

**What problems is CareAcademy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to switch over to online training seamlessly while the pandemic is ongoing. A survey done of our employees shows that they prefer a mix of online and hands-on training, so we will continue to offer both in the future. We are able to get California State requirements completed easily using the Initial Training track that we set up in the system. We can also assign quick video tips from the library for specific ADLs that a caregiver might need help with.

I love how customizable CareAcademy is; you can taylor it to your needs. I also really enjoy how responsive the support team is. They've always helped every issue I've had in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about CareAcademy?**

Some of the language and phrasing around having classes full, seats assigned, activating and deactivating can be a little confusing. I feel like there should be an easier way of understanding those items.

**Recommendations to others considering CareAcademy:**

If you're on the fence about CareAcademy, you should try it. It's worth the plunge for consistency.

We are solving the problems of consistent training and accessibility to training. It can be a challenge scheduling everyone and making sure that everything is presented in the same capacity and mannger. CareAcademy helps.

What I appreciate the most are the people who work for CareAcademy - every single person I've worked with is timely, efficient, friendly, and each interaction has resulted in awesome outcomes, seriously.

**What do you dislike about CareAcademy?**

So far, there's been nothing I dislike. Since we began working with them over a year ago, it's been a fantastic experience.

**What problems is CareAcademy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Caregiver training is the obvious problem that we're solving. The platform we used before was not very engaging, and I think the way their platform was set up made it a hassle for caregivers to take the courses if they didn't have personal computer access. CareAcademy is not only engaging content-wise, but our teams can go through the courses right from their phone. We've seen a much higher completion rate since working with CareAcademy.

Nothing is helpful. Continually charged after requesting cancelation. They have attempted to have me meet with someone virtually to further discuss my request but I have continually told them I am unavailable. They have refused to assist me and continue to charge monthly.

**What do you like best about CareAcademy?**

With CareAcademy, they have been very open to hearing our suggestions and our needs for the different training & development goals that we have had. They also assisted us by expanding their pre-built curriculums to capture our needs for Canadian caregivers which has been helpful. Additionally, the support has been helpful and they always do their best to get questions answered fully and efficiently.

**What do you dislike about CareAcademy?**

The main dislike is that the classes are only meant to be online, and there is no feature that allows us to turn the training into group settings, as we prefer to start our team members off in a more collaborative training environment before they proceed into working for us. While convenient for the remote-nature of many in-house caregivers, it is harder to utilize CareAcademy for our initial training because of this lacking feature.

**What problems is CareAcademy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems being solved by CareAcademy are the tracking elements for our continuing education. We haven't completely rolled out the training program to our teams as of yet due to delays with our API integration, but expect to realize further gains through employee engagement and more opportunities for their own personal and professional development.

CareAcademy is easy for our caregivers to use and has informative, helpful content for our employees to do their jobs better. The interface is easy to use as an administrator.

I wish there was an easy way to track the completion records (for payroll specifically). There might be a solution that I'm not aware of, but we just have to go through and count each hour that our caregivers have completed.

Have one person on your staff manage and track the CareAcademy courses.

Trainings are great, easy to complete, and marketable. Our caregivers are learning to be better at their jobs, and we market that our caregivers are trained monthly online.

The training programs and options that are available to utilize and extensive and thorough. It's very user friendly, intuitive, and super customizable which we really appreciate.

Sometimes some of language around having seats filled, deactivated users, etc. can be a little confusing. I'm my efforts to contact customer services regarding this, they seemed just as confused as I was so not incredibly helpful there.

It force sorts the columns. I would like for my last saved sort to be the way it always sorts. Its annoying having to always hit the sort button whenever I switch. Also, it always opens a new tab when I click on something. Also, when going through the learning modules, the "next" button is tiny at the top, and that part is not very user friendly and out of place. It should be bigger, and I think would work better at the bottom.

CareAcademy provides quality training programs our Care Professionals can do at their own convenience.  This has been a godsend during the pandemic.  We have been able to provide quality training programs for our Care Professionals through CareAcademy in a safe setting, and we can keep up with our state-required training without needing to conduct group trainings.

We hope the trainings will be translated into more languages in the future. We are in an urban location, and English is a second language for many of our Care Professionals.

CareAcademy has solved the problem of training compliance when we cannot gather as a group due to the risks of Covid. Our Care Professionals like being able to determine their own time to do the on-line trainings.

I wish that Texas regulations and requirements could be added to the core package.  It would also be nice to have a handout with an outline for the course so that when using for disciplinary actions, we can validate that the information was given.

Ensuring that caregivers all have the same information for baseline.  Then more information can be given to advance.  We also like the ability to provide additional information per staffmember.
