Candy Rack — One Click Upsell Reviews & Product Details

Candy Rack is an all-in-one upsell and cross-sell app for Shopify that raises average order value across the entire purchase journey — product page, cart, checkout and post-purchase — from a single app. Built by Digismoothie and awarded Shopify's Built for Shopify badge, it is used by 5,000+ stores including Rad Power Bikes, Bushbalm, Ohuhu, KINTO USA and Cousins Maine Lobster, with a 4.9-star average across 220+ Shopify App Store reviews. Most Shopify merchants end up stacking three or four apps to cover upselling: one for product-page offers, a separate cart drawer, another for checkout, another for post-purchase. Each adds cost, scripts and a different admin to learn. Candy Rack covers all of it, so offers stay consistent, page speed stays intact, and performance is measured in one place. Offers at every step of the funnel Candy Rack supports seven placements, each configurable independently: Product page pop-up — a one-click offer shown after add-to-cart, historically the highest-revenue placement for most stores Product page embedded block — inline offers above or below the add-to-cart button, no interruption to the buying flow Slide cart — cross-sells inside Candy Rack's own cart drawer Cart page — offers for stores that use a full cart page Checkout — native checkout offers via Shopify's checkout extensions (Shopify Plus only, per Shopify's platform rules) Post-purchase page — a one-click offer after payment, added to the original order with no re-entry of payment details Thank-you page — a final block on the order-status page Every major offer type in one app Cross-sells and frequently-bought-together — complementary products, individually or as a set True upgrades — swap the item in the cart for a larger size, longer subscription or premium tier, rather than just adding a second product Volume bundles — quantity tiers with your own discounts (buy 2 save 10%, buy 3 save 20%) rendered as a selector in the buy box Free gifts with purchase — automatic or opt-in gifts, including tick-box free samples Add-on services — warranties, gift wrapping, express handling, priority processing Progressive rewards bar — a free-shipping or free-gift progress bar that shows shoppers exactly how much more to spend AI recommendations, with your choice of engine Set an offer to AI mode and Candy Rack selects the products for you. Uniquely, you choose the engine: Candy Rack AI, Google Gemini, or Shopify's native recommendations — so you are not locked into one vendor's model. AI also generates the short benefit line beneath each product, so cross-sells read like a merchandiser wrote them rather than a database. Every AI suggestion remains editable, and any offer can be switched to manual targeting by specific product, specific collection, or same-product upgrade at any time. A slide cart with upselling built in Candy Rack includes its own cart drawer, so the drawer and the offers inside it come from the same app — no theme conflicts, no second subscription for a cart app. It loads instantly, inherits your theme's styling, and includes the rewards progress bar, in-cart cross-sells with per-offer discounts, quantity controls and a discount-code field. Analytics that isolate incremental revenue The reporting dashboard separates what Candy Rack actually added from what the store would have earned anyway, so ROI is measurable rather than assumed. Track offer views, incremental sales and the share of orders containing an offer, all with period-over-period comparison, then break revenue down by individual placement to see which offers earn their spot and which to retire. A/B testing is available through the Intelligems integration for merchants who want to test variants against a control. Design and performance Offers inherit your theme's typography, colors and spacing out of the box, with a visual editor and custom CSS for teams that want pixel control. Everything is mobile-optimized, and the app is built to Shopify's Built for Shopify performance standards — the badge is only granted to apps that meet Shopify's highest bar for speed, design and platform integration. Candy Rack is built in the EU, is GDPR-compliant and collects no sensitive customer data. Integrations Shopify Checkout, Shopify Admin, Shopify Flow, Customer Accounts, Google Gemini, Intelligems (A/B testing), PageFly, Translate & Adapt, Shopify Sidekick, and Gift Box. Pricing that scales with your store, not your success Candy Rack charges on your store's order volume over the trailing 30 days — never a percentage of upsell revenue. Every paid plan includes the full feature set: all placements, AI offers, the slide cart, tailored design and 24/7 chat and email support, with unlimited upsell orders and unlimited upsell revenue. Plans start at $29.99/month for stores under 50 orders and scale to Enterprise quotes above 10,000 orders. Annual billing saves 20%. Every plan includes an 8-day free trial and a 60-day money-back guarantee, and development and trial stores are free. Who it's for Candy Rack fits Shopify and Shopify Plus merchants who want measurable AOV growth without assembling a stack of single-purpose apps: DTC brands with natural accessory and consumable cross-sells, stores replacing separate cart-drawer and post-purchase apps, and agencies standardizing upsell setup across client stores. Merchants who need a heavyweight personalization platform with onsite search and merchandising layers should compare it against Rebuy; merchants who only need post-purchase funnels may prefer a specialist. Support and the team behind it Candy Rack is developed by Digismoothie, a bootstrapped Shopify Plus partner agency founded in 2019 in Prague, Czech Republic. The team has built Shopify stores and apps since 2019, serves 17,000+ merchants across its app portfolio, and offers 24/7 chat and email support plus free offer-strategy consultations for merchants setting up their first placements.
