## Canary Mail Reviews
  ### 1. Simple, Clean, and the Best Email Hub for All My Accounts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mingo B. | Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Canary Mail is the best email hub I've ever used. It's simple, clean, and works incredibly well with all of my email accounts.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

One of the only issues I've found with Canary, is I use it in Dark Mode and so sometimes certain emails don't show up.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canary Mail is my hub for all of my email accounts. I use it to organize and keep all of my email correspondence. It also helps with keeping up with tasks that were sent to me via email. It creates a task list for me which is INCREDIBLE! The Ai summary of longer emails is also great for me as I don't really like reading long form emails!

  ### 2. All my favorite options in one email program

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

It has been tough to find a mail application that combines all of my favorite options into one I've been using three different types of programs to be able to securely encrypt messages, to snooze messages, to sort them in a special way, and have a unified inbox. And all of these things are included in Canary Mail. It was especially important to me that it was easy to sign messages and encrypt/decrypt messages and Canary Mail handles that perfectly. It implements the PGP signature is very easily. And the integration has been incredibly easy into my workflow. I must use this app on all of my devices every day without any thought about it. Their customer support has been excellent to when I ever had a question they have answered quickly and with great informaiton.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

Could be a little more polished with possible settings for how the UI presents itself on the screen, like font or color changes in the window. But that's just a super minor thing that would be nice to have.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, I don't use Canary Mail much for business. But it is solving problems in all of the community activities that I do. I have several email addresses for different groups that I'm associated with and it helps me keep them together. In one interface I'm able to see all of my email addresses and understand what's going on with each group with the colors that it applies to each inbox and see my calendar for each thing I'm involved with.

  ### 3. Best Email Client Thus Far

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

The ability to have multiple accounts listed under one user account, and to have all settings preferences synced between devices upon login. Integrates seamlessly with email providers. Easy to setup, albeit a non-issue for me. The dev team is very open to feedback and implements changes/bug fixes promptly. Been an avid user for years, and I don't see myself leaving anytime soon.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

N/A... honestly. Any qualms I had over time have been fixed swiftly.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multiple account integration, syncing changes to host providers, and having universal access.

  ### 4. Great Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nemanja V. | Company Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Read Reciept, Ai, pricing, visual logos of the companies

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

Bit confusing to find attachmens in long email conversations

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly read recipet feature!

  ### 5. In the sea of subpar email clients, Canary is the wave you want to be surfing.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raymond T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Canary Mail is exactly what i want it to be. Although it advertises itself as an AI superpowered email client, it also doesnt force you to use those features. It's a solid email client that does the basics nearly perfectly, which most clients don't. Most clients try and sell you on their innovation but cant get the basics right; Canary is not like the others.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

The only thing i can even slightly moan about is folder organisation. Like Spark it makes you create new folders in the depths of account settings, instead of the sidebar; and if your old school like me it can be a bit of a faff to move your email to the right folder. That being said, its by no means a dealbreaker. It gets everything else right.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With its features 'Delay Sending' and 'Email Snoozing', I find it a real breeze to keep on top of emails from my clients and prioritise emails at exactly the right time. This is vital in any business use of this app.

  ### 6. AirMail -> Cloze.com -> SuperHuman -> Canary!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

The AI is phenomenal! I love that Canary can help me triage my inbox, write positive and/or negative responses and even summarize my emails.

I was using SuperHuman and, after a short learning curve, it was awesome! And then.... I found Canary. It does almost everything SH does but also does it on my iPhone and Boox Tab Ultra C so I'm always up to date no matter what I'm using.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

The one thing I really miss about using Cloze.com is their incredibly accurate read receipts. I knew who opened my email (if I sent to mulitple people), I know where they opened it, on what device and even if they clicked on a link I embeded or if they downloaded an attached document.

I hope Canary will consider adding more of this.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time... Always looking for ways to be more effective with my time and Canary definately helps with that!

  ### 7. I hate email. I love Canary.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trever C. | Founder/Senior Lead Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

The AI features are genius. I mean, AI is obviously a hot trend that everyone is jumping on right now. But Canary's AI actually feels like it's this little robot VA in my phone handling my emails for me. It writes emails, surfaces important emails, and deletes stuff I don't need to respond to. Basically everything I would pay a VA to do for me. If only it could handle my social media too!

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

UI could be more intuitive. They sent out an email awhile back talking about features I had never come across in the app. I had to go digging to find them and try them out.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly solving email overwhelm. I get WAY too many emails. Hundreds per day. Canary basically gives me a workflow for managing all of those emails. The AI basically does email triage for me, then for the emails I actually need to deal with, it helps me to respond and process them in half the time.

  ### 8. Elevating Email Efficiency with AI Replies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jagadish K. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Canary Mail's AI mail reply feature is a game-changer. I'm a doctor by profession and trust me when I say I get a lot of mails from patients with queries. Some times it take time to respond to all mails. Canary mail learns from your communication patterns, suggesting responses that are relevant, precise, save time and maintain your personal style. It respects your privacy and offers efficiency without sacrificing authenticity. Experience the future of email with Canary Mail.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

Honestly, I am overwhelmed and loving the experience of using this app. I'm yet to find anything that I dislike about this app. Will update if I find anything.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps communicating with patients so much easier. Saves so much time doing that. Also, those mails are better worded by the AI assistant than what I would normally write.

  ### 9. Finally a workhorse for my emails that actually works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jos d. | Content Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Robust email management, label/folder management

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

No antialiasing of images on non-retina screens

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was a happy user of Spark until they started all over again with their new Spark Desktop. I went through a whole iteration of email clients, from Newton to Postbox, from Apple Mail (+Butler) to Mailspring, from Airmail to you-name-it. I found it annoying that while each email client has some advantages, each client also had disadvantages that made working with them problematic. Each client managed to be an obstacle rather than a ueful tool. Mailspring probably came close. Spark forces you to do mail their way, with difficult access to folders and labels and forcing you to compose new emails in the main window. Postbox is awkward in terms of rendering html. Apple Mail refuses to offer a good snooze function. Airmail and Newton are basically half-finished pieces of software that cannot be considered fully functional. I didn't mention Edison, which, like Mailspring does a good job. And Outlook refuses to work with Gmail labels.

What I like about Canary is that it offers all the good points of the above mentioned emails clients and none of the disadvantages. Robust snoozing, sending and deleting delays, Send later.... all the bells and whistles. It also gives perfect access to labels and folders. There are two ways of highlighting important emails: (1) you can favorite senders/domains (2) you can pin emails for follow up. Pinned emails can be collapsed so new emails to appear within sight.

The reason why I initially overlooked Canary is that it appeared to not render logo's and graphic ux elements correctly. Turns out antialiasing isnt perfect on non-retina screens. Once I realized this, I was able to get oer that. Now I'm hooked.

  ### 10. Email management has never been this easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiffany Z. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Canary offers all the functions that I'm looking for in terms of email management. My email management need is from a blend of professional full-time work, part-time advising/freelance work, and personal life. It helps me organize all my emails coming from multiple accounts well and keep me stay on top of my communication facing various shareholders. The platform is extremely intuitive to use and syncs fast across multiple devices. Its beautiful and native to Apple UI also suits my need of looking for a platform that is aesthically pleasing.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

I wouldn't say this is something I dislike about Canary, but there are certain features I didn't find super helpful based on my current need, and I'm still ramping up on the AI feature.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficient email management, fast and organized communication across multiple email accounts.

  ### 11. Amazing for project related work!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruben R. | Production Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

The AI fetaures add so much value that other email software is missing. I love the AI summary which help tons when working with bigger teams and big email threads. Also Copilot gives a super quick and nice overview over emails, task and more!

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

The apps design is great as it but it could get some modern touch ups and improvements. Copilot is sometimes annoying to use as you always have to start over after finishing one task with it. Which is kinda not the point of less working.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of having an overload of emails and getting lost in many messages. Also it's a great productivity tool and helped a lot already with staying on top of things.

  ### 12. A good Email client when you are focused on privacy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Didier V. | c, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Canary mail is easy to use with all kind of email accounts. It has all the bells and whistles of modern email clients. It is also very easy to setup encryption, which is a task difficult on may email clients.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

Canary mail began to use Ai to help you write the right email, but it still not use it to help you navigating your inbox. I am sure that this will come soon.
This is really the only feature that I am lacking.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canary has good management of the email flow. It manages the signature well ( I have many to use depending on which account I am using).
It allows us to have a good grasp on the privacy of specific messages by encrypting them.
The lack of sending later features ( due to privacy considerations) is a little price to pay for the remaining features.

  ### 13. A nice and handy upgrade from Mail on Mac

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Secure sending as well as tracking, AI and smart sorting all make Canary Mail a time saving app. It's the type of thing you didn't know you needed but then can do without.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

Occassionally I feel the memory footprint of Canary is larger than it should be compared to other apps I have tried.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidated inboxes is very important these days. I am using the AI more and more to summarise emails too.

  ### 14. Canary Mail is the epitome of modern email innovation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard S. | Founder / President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

It masterfully melds simplicity on the front end with robust complexities on the back end. What sets it apart is its AI-driven ability to summarize long-winded emails, streamlining my reading process, and even crafting responses for me. Originally, I only planned to migrate one email account to Canary, but after experiencing its prowess, I am in the process of switching all eight of my accounts.

The functionality, the effortless interface, and the swift customer support are simply unparalleled. I'm hard-pressed to find any negatives about this software. If you're on the fence about trying Canary Mail, I wholeheartedly recommend taking the plunge. It's been a game-changer for me!

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

When it comes to Canary Mail, I genuinely struggle to pinpoint any dislikes. The software has consistently met and exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From its functionality to customer support, everything has been top-notch. It's a rare occurrence for me not to have even a minor gripe with software, but Canary Mail has achieved just that. I have nothing but praise for this email suite.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canary Mail addresses several challenges I faced with email management. First, with multiple email accounts and a considerable influx of messages, it became overwhelming. Canary's AI summarization has been a game-changer, allowing me to quickly grasp the content of lengthy emails without sifting through every word. This feature alone has dramatically reduced the time I spend processing my emails.

Moreover, managing eight different email accounts could easily become a daunting task. However, Canary Mail's intuitive interface and seamless experience have convinced me to migrate all my accounts onto its platform. This consolidation not only streamlines my workflow but also reduces the chances of missing crucial emails spread across different inboxes.

Additionally, while I hadn’t explicitly brought it up earlier, I appreciate Canary Mail’s commitment to security through its end-to-end encryption. It gives me peace of mind, knowing that my communications remain private.

Above all, the simplicity of Canary Mail’s front-end, despite the sophisticated processes occurring behind the scenes, stands out. The platform doesn't just store my emails; it enhances my overall email management experience. Plus, their prompt customer support ensures that I can address any concerns immediately, adding to the platform's overall efficiency.

In a nutshell, Canary Mail has revolutionized how I handle my emails, offering a blend of efficiency, simplicity, and security that I hadn't experienced with other platforms."

  ### 15. Quality of the app is improving version over version

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo P. | Mobile Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

I've been enjoying Canary a lot. It allows me to view multiple email accounts in one timeline. The search functionality is robust and includes a helpful list of recent searches. With the ability to view people's profiles, including recent emails and attachments, communication becomes more focused and personalized. The app offers multiple signatures and email templates, along with the ability to add GPG enc/dec keys. Dark mode is implemented exceptionally well, providing visual comfort. While I haven't explored the Co-pilot features yet, they appear promising. Overall, Canary Mail offers a seamless and satisfying experience that caters to a wide range of needs, and I highly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

While Canary impresses with a host of features, my primary concern lies with the privacy aspect, particularly with functionalities like Co-pilot. The potential for personal data to leave my MacBook raises some apprehensions. While I appreciate the innovation behind such features, a clear understanding and assurance of how the data is handled would ease any lingering worries. It's a minor concern in an otherwise fantastic product, but one that I believe is worth addressing.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canary helps me manage multiple email accounts by unifying them into a single timeline. This has been a tremendous benefit to me, both for personal and business use, as it streamlines the process of tracking and responding to emails. By consolidating everything in one place, I can maintain organization and efficiency without having to switch between different platforms or apps. Additionally, the snooze feature in Canary has proven to be particularly helpful. Whether it's an email that requires more thought or one that needs a response at a later time, the ability to snooze emails ensures that I never miss an important email or deadline. It acts as a gentle nudge to revisit emails and contributes to a more productive email management routine.

  ### 16. Canary Mail, Why I settled for it!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nana Prempeh A. | Operational Analyst -Project Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

I kept looking for emails, I tired spark and a couple of others. Apples native mail app was good but not good enough as canary, the simplicity and the AI made me love it!

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

The ability to not be able to add calendar invites to your calendar. The native mail app on Mac easily suggests an event which can be added to your mail quickly

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drafting mails and my ability to easily keep track of all emails that I receive. Makes it more simple for me to be able to refer to important mails I have received

  ### 17. Excellent cross platform gmail platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Canary helps me prioritize and schedule my email better than most email apps and the fact that it offers full Mac, iOS & iPadOS support is key to my usage...every other cross-platform option I have tried has been lacking in some way.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

It is occasionally struggling to display some gmail emails but their customer support to address this has been excellent.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love the read receipts functions that let me see when clients ares reading their emails...as that gives me insight to their urgency and responsiveness. Also favoriting my clients helps me bring focus to them...so I don't miss replies. Pinning and snoozing also work well to manage time sensitive emails...and both work flawlessly.

  ### 18. Full-featured clean interface and great search

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

I had been using Spark but had been bored waiting every time I closed the program for it to do whatever it needed to do. I like seeing avatars attached to my emails, so Apple's program is not for me. So I tried Canary Mail and was immediately really impressed. The search works better and quicker than Spark (and only slightly slower than Apple Mail) and the interface is almost perfect once customised.

I have twelve separate accounts which, once added to my Mac, then migrated to my iPad and iPhone with no further effort from me. A huge time saver! I have invested in the Lifetime Mac and iOS bundle, which tells you I have every intention of sticking with Canary Mail.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

There's nothing much to dislike about the app. I'd like to be able to add a button to delete an open email on iOS (I can archive, pin and snooze, but I rarely use those features) and I can delete by click in on the More three dots, but I'd prefer to be able to customise the interface to suit me.

But that is a very minor 'dislike'.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canary Mail is making my business and personal email easier to access - with a clean uncluttered interface, effective search features and time-saving account and settings syncing between all my devices. My iPhone, iPad, Mac and PCs are all linked, which makes my business and personal lives better, more streamlined and - yes - nicer looking. Is it shallow to want things to not only work well, but to look good whilst they are working well? If so, I'm shallow. And happy!

  ### 19. Simple yet very powerful email application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sutarto S. | Educational Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

My favourite features are email encryption (this is an amazing feature), received and read notifications, and Autopilot.

Other apps do not offer similar features, and if they do, they usually cost lots of money which is not very budget efficient.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

I don't like the tiny button to see which email address I use to receive certain emails because I use multiple accounts in the Canary app. Occasionally, it shows read email as unread.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a Cambridge Exam Officer in my school, and I often send confidential emails to students and other parties. Sometimes, I require recipients to reply immediately to my email, so I need to know whether they have received my emails. This is where email encryption and read notifications play important roles in fulfilling my daily task.

During busy hours, I occasionally have to reply to emails immediately, for example, to confirm some inquiries or reply to simple questions related to my job. Here, I usually use autopilot to answer the messages. If you don't believe me, try these features out :)

  ### 20. A Refreshing Email Experience!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Easy Setup: Just a few clicks and I was good to go.
Top-Notch Security: The encryption feature makes me feel my emails are super safe.
User-Friendly Interface: Clean, intuitive, and everything's right where you need it.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

Nothing stands out. It's been smooth sailing, and I'm genuinely loving the experience. Kudos to the team behind it!

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been using Canary Mail for a bit now, and it's been mostly smooth sailing. The app is snappy, and I love how it helps organize my chaotic inbox. The AI feature, Copilot, is fun to play around with. But hey, no app is perfect, right? If you're in the market for a new email client, I'd say give Canary a shot. It's been a reliable companion for my email needs.

  ### 21. Clean, quick, yet robust

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maverick J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Buttons for spam, delete, attach, are all quick single taps. Communication with the app letting you know emails have been read and sent is innovative and appreciated. Didn't think I needed that but it's great.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

I really can't think of any downsides, even when comparing it to other services. Maybe the only thing is that because it's not Microsoft or Google you don't have that automatic integration.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Other email apps are clunking in flagging things as spam and can be over complicated with options. Canary has all the same options, but somehow the layout and shortcuts just work better. The screen almost seems bigger when using Canary because of their layout.

  ### 22. Lots of advanced features for free

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Canary Mail has a ton of features which are really free. These include AI summariser, secure email send, unified inbox, auto sort and delete of clutter, block list and many more.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

I use both the desktop and mobile versions for my work at an NGO. Sometimes the swiping of emails, to delete, archive or however you chose to use the functionality, is not as smooth as expected.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The new AI summariser is really good for tl/dr emails and newsletters. The AI composer is alsoon point. Managing lots of emails you couldn't get to is a breeze. Oh yes and thee tracker blocker of emails is also a bonus. There are many features which other email clients want you to pay for.

  ### 23. Come for the AI, stay for the workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike E. | Senior Director of Product Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Even with gmail shortcut usage, canary mail is a cleaner and faster way to process your inbox. Has lots of AI features, the one I use most frequently is summarize email to get those long newsletters into 3-4 sentences.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

Keyboard shortcuts are good, could use a few more since it's geared towards power users.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Process lots of email as fast as possible

  ### 24. One of the best mail applications

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis G. | Asistente administrativo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

It is an application that is being safe since I use it, you can put a read confirmation, multiple accounts, secure encryption, without advertising.

It has a little high price, but it is cheaper than some of its competitors

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

What I don't like is its design, I would like it to be more minimalist and clear to use and to create useful and effective functions for spam.

Improve its interface also on ios

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has features like secure mail and read confirmation, I can use it on my devices easily

  ### 25. Ahead of all others

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Armin P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

After the recent updates and features introduced, Canary is on the way to best them all. It is significantly better than Mail and also Spark (which is so pushed).

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

So far I found only "negativ" that attachments can not be draged and dropped from an mail e.g. into a finder folder

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my opinion Canary is best in class and thinking of most things, users, especially business users, will need. Others often miss something. Canary does not...

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

I find that security and adding labels to my emails in real time very useful.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

I want to find all emails from any given sender more easily. Some apps use a "target" icon to search for emails from the selected sender.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Labelling my emails keeps me organised

  ### 27. Makes email so easy

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

I'm obsessed with the AI writing tool--I cut my email response time in half with this app.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

I'd love to see the app have a more robust set of tone features so that I can change the way I write based on the tone required

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canary Mail sorts my emails, helps me make sure I don't miss the really important ones, and helps me qickly reply.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

No way to paste as plain text by default, if i pasted some text into an email and ended up with a mess of different font sizes.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

i use the app for academic purpose, especially for foreign language learning, in which AI assistant shows students how best to write an email in the learned language and helps them correct their mistakes, all in one app.

  ### 31. Very clean interface, but with a lot of features and reliability that Apple Mail lacks.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chase M. | Graduate Writing Tutor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Options to customize & make use of an array of professional features while maintaining an unintimidating visual layout.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

I wish there was an option for flags or multiple colours of stars, as only starring is limiting. Even if it couldn't sync to other mailboxes, I only use canary on my platforms (iOS and Mac)

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interface that's reliable (unlike Apple Mail) and visually clean (unlike Gmail). Let's me use features I want like Copilot or read reciepts, change layouts to my preferences, quick calendar for glances etc

  ### 32. Only email app that successfully accesses all of my email accounts

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bob D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

It being able to access all of my email accounts (iCloud, GMail, Outlook, Hostinger, University) is what sets this email app apart from its competitors.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

I imagine this will improve over time but right now the AI "Summarize Email" feature provides only a rudimentary retelling of what's in the email.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A handy feature that Canary Mail has is its feature that automatically selects unimportant emails in your inbox so you can mark as read and archive.

  ### 33. Awesome, E-Mail App Room for improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas W. | Principal Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Awesome app especially with the latest changes. AI could be hopefully a bit smarter in the future especially also in the German language a more professional signature feature would be awesome. Also additional features that you get an email when it has been read or forwarded to someone else would be nice overall it's the best app on the Apple store for emails and I used like 10 before.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

Better AI also, in German more features on signature to make it look more professional with social links included like Wisestamp aunt more features on follow up emails and confirmed email read , or if the mail has been forwarded

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster replies using also AI also for confidential emails using encryption and overall email management I use it every day

  ### 34. Good, could be great

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Canary Mail does a great job at consolidating inboxes, and giving the user more customization than other apps, e.g., swipe gesture customizations. The simple interface, mimicking the default iOS Mail app interface, is easy for a user to pick up and use. When it worked for me, the read receipt functionality was nice.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

Recent updates followed by poor support follow up have caused me to switch to other familiar email app names. Specifically, the email headers were reworked and the tap action to find out which email account the email was sent /to/ stopped functioning. Support gave me canned messages about where to find the new functionality and to thank me for my feedback. Not impressive. Additionally, search functionality resulted in me often returning to a different app to find "that" email.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canary solves the problem of having an easy-to-use, all-in-one, non-Microsoft app to tie all emails together. The app continues to solve the problem, but does not necessarily do it in a better way than others at this stage.

  ### 35. Great for secure email, not much else

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

The secure email feature, app is available on the iPhone and Mac

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

The AI feature is writing responses is pretty weird and not that useful. You write a prompt and it repeats what you say, want to lengthen it?...it doesn't grasp the concept of the email.
When you pin or forward an email, it doesn't mark it as read.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting secure emails out.

  ### 36. Great Email platform for businesses

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Canary Mail has proven itself to be a solid email client that I've come to rely on. Canary Mail's simplicity is its winning feature. Navigating and using the app is a breeze and its stability is noteworthy.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

Noting in particular to mention, there isn't much to dislike. I'm quite happy with it. You can do everything you want/your business needs.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canary Mail has been a solution to my email management challenges. It helps me regain control over my inbox and enables secure communication through encrypted emails. Plus, it doesn't drain my wallet, which is a definite advantage.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

I have not found anyhting that I dislike for the type of user I am.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing multiple Gmail accounts from a single app.

  ### 39. Canary Mail is an awesome mail tool through which we can manage our mails in a very simple way.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madhav Z. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Canary Mail has excellent features and design, and especially UI is straightforward to use, which is fantastic. Canary Mail also provides encryption and end-to-end security for mail. Canary Mail also has the best feature of AI email sending in which the user only has to write a few keywords, and the rest of the Canary Mail will take care of its own.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

There are not as of any major cons or deslike for canary mail, but if asked one can be that in canary mail they can add it for Windows and Linux users too so they can also take advantage of quick replies and many more other.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canary Mail is helping a lot in managing mail with its incredible features like quick replies, simple to use UI, end-to-end encryption of emails and much more, which makes sending emails and managing multiple accounts much more manageable.

  ### 40. Solid email client

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Canary is simple to navigate and use. From my experience, there are minimal bugs or application crashes. It has quite a number of valuable features to make it competitive with nearly all email clients

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

There is not much to dislike about canary. It utilizes AI to help summarize and compose responses, which is neat, but the implementation seems a bit forced in my opinion.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canary helps solve my email overload. It is great for sending important and encrypted email regarding sensitive targets. I don't feel like I am breaking the bank to use a solid email client.

  ### 41. Best app for business and personal accounts

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Xavi S. | Sales advocate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Helpful in decluttering and easy to use design. The aut selection for unimportant emails is very easy to use and super useful for quick massive spam emails or newsletters to the trash without having to go through and choose each email individually

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

When favoriting contacts they dont favorite or subscribe to the domain name itself but rather by website/new contact. If you dont make sure all emails from one domain are favorited itll only filter in the favorited and leaves out other notifications from the same domain

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prioritizing the emails fron people rather than allowing my newsletters to flood them out. I've missed alot of important messages from people or agencies. It's easier to view and save them as well as pinning important information to the top with a collapsing view for that database.

  ### 42. Mailbox management made simple

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Multiple mailboxes and calendars on different clients is cumbersome. A consolidated view on Canary has helped me track important emails and events without worrying about missing anything.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

Could have more integrations with other messaging apps.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email and calendar consolidation and inbox cleanup

  ### 43. My Canary Email Experience

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reading of my important mails by recipients of my mails

  ### 45. Nothing much to set itself apart for the base user

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vinod V. | Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Easy to set up and use. Looks a lot like the native client. Easy to get the hang of.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

Licensing is per device. Should be per account instead. Having to pay separately to access the same account on two devices is a bummer.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was an email client I used when I was experimenting with various email clients. Canary Mail was part of my SetApp subscription and that is how I got it. Did the job of downloading and sending mail is about all I can say.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

Would like to build rules in-app for manual filtering.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 47. Canary Mail does not allow the Usser to set a default font for emails.

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

  ### 50. Wonderful Email Portal for All Your Email Addresses!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SAMUEL K. | Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Canary Mail?**

Canary Mail is loaded with many different features which I find appealing, the best of which I will mention in this review. The first feature which I feel deserves mention is the ability to incorporate multiple email accounts, from multiple different email providers, into the same Canary Mail portal. For example, I have incorporated five email addresses, some of which are personal and some of which are for business, into Canary Mail. The email providers which I have incorporated into Canary Mail range from Gmail to Outlook for business use to more obscure and not as well known providers such as Rediffmail and Yandex for personal use. This shows that Canary Mail is very convenient and does not discriminate against individuals who might use email services that are not widely known, which I very much appreciate. The second feature which I find very convenient and noteworthy is Canary Mail’s syncing capability. Specifically, for users of Apple devices such as iMacs, iPhones, and iPads, the individual is granted the ability of having his or her mailboxes automatically reflect each others’ contents in real-time as long as all of the aforementioned devices are connected to the internet. So, for example, if an email is received or an email is deleted from a certain mailbox using an iMac, for instance, the very same change will be reflected on a user’s iPhone and/or iPad in real time, which is an incredibly nice feature. The third feature I would like to mention is Canary Mail’s notification system. Like most other services from competitors, Canary Mail notifications are standard when a new email message is received, and this apples to all types of devices, (standard meaning a typical banner is displayed and an associated sound is presented to alert the user). What makes Canary Mail notifications stand out, however, is the ability to respond automatically to the email, right from the aforementioned notification banner. Namely, once a notification banner is visible to the user, all it takes to automatically respond, (if necessary), is to click on the notification in order to have a reply field pop up. The user is able to type his or her message into this response field, click send, and the job is done. Overall, Canary Mail is a fantastic email service portal and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is willing to give it a try.

**What do you dislike about Canary Mail?**

As can probably be extrapolated via the high praise I give Canary Mail, there is not much I can point out as a negative when it comes to its features, capabilities, and usability. However, if I were asked to point out a feature which can be further worked on for an even more user-friendly experience, it would be the ability to add attachments to the “quick reply feature” that comes out as a result of the banner notifications. Currently, I am only able to reply with text to an incoming email message using the quick reply feature, which is great in and of itself, but had I been able to add attachments to these replies, the experience would have been even more convenient. This is definitely not a huge deal, but if anything, that could be a feature that can be further enhanced. I also think that it would be nice if Windows and Linux PC users could have the option of downloading the Canary Mail application onto their devices. I feel it would only serve a greater purpose if the software would be available to a more diverse array of operating systems. Other than these two minor aspects, I really do not have much else to report as being detrimental when it comes to Canary Mail and its exceptional service.

**What problems is Canary Mail solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have realized multiple benefits as a result of using Canary Mail, with the primary one being the introduction of maximum efficiency in both my personal and, more importantly, my professional life. Namely, I no longer have to manually log in and out of whatever email service provider’s website I am interested in using and instead have to simply navigate to my Canary Mail portal and have all of the contents from all of my mailboxes presented to me on one simple to use screen. This one feature has brought immense convenience and has eliminated a whole lot of hassle when it comes to email receiving and email sending, (which tends to take up a lot of my day when it comes to my professional life, as I go through many emails every single day). The problems that I have neutralized are numerous, with the primary one being forgotten passwords as an issue of the past. I used to occasionally forget the passwords to some of my accounts, but that is no longer something I have to deal with, as Canary Mail stores the passwords to all of my email accounts internally and only asks you to manually type them in when you personally change your password on the email provider’s website. This is a fantastic feature as well, and it has really played a large role in my being interested in using Canary Mail as my sole/primary email service portal. I would again like to reiterate how great of a software Canary Mail is and how much I would recommend that users give it a try, if they haven’t already.
