We used Canapii to run a hybrid conference and the platform generally performed quite well - especially for remote participants. The platform is highly customizable and thus can be tailored to a variety of needs. I really enjoyed the ability to build different experiences for physical and virtual participants as you can specify what is shown to which audience. Participants generally also liked the platform and found it mostly easy to use, though some aspects can still be improved. Pretty much all of our sponsors loved the ability to create their own spaces and enjoyed working with the platform as well, which was a big plus point! I also enjoyed working together with the Canapii team ahead of our event, to set up and enhance the platform. Sometimes I felt a bit like a beta-tester and not everything that I would have loved to see / was promised got implemented in time, but generally the communication was good and given that we ran our event in June 2022, the platform surely has further advanced since then. All in all I think Canapii performed well for our event and I certainly will consider it again for future events! **What do you dislike about Canapii?** Customizability is one of its strong points, but also a weakness because you really have to invest a lot of time into setting everything up to make it work and look visually appealing. I liked the Netflix-style display of sessions, but the interface was not the easiest during live sessions with lots of parallel activities. My biggest issue was that the planned live-stream session with RTMP failed. To this day, I don't know why, it worked in testing and 30min before we wanted to stream, but then I couldn't connect to the server, which created quite some issues for us. Over three days, it was the only major issue we encountered, but it was a disappointing start. Other than that, a few things were confusing: Why do you need separate profiles for speakers / participants instead of having one profile that just gets an additional role? Throughout the system, there were 3-4 different views of a session, depending on how you got there. Generally the calender overview lacked visual appeal and ability to filter as I wanted - for example sessions were displayed based on the name of the session, which could not be reordered - so I had to rename all session to create "tracks". Maybe these things have been addressed by now and I consider them smaller issues, but annoying nonetheless. **What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?** Canapii is one of the few platforms that enabled us to cater to both the physical and the virtual audience in a good and nicely structured way. We are a non-profit. We managed registrations both for in-person and virtual attendees, could have speakers' profiles, prepared dedicated virtual exibition pages for partner organisations, got a customised domain and branding. Sessions and agenda were also easy to set-up. Managing livestreams and online webinars/meetings was also rather straightforward. It was great to be able to authorise external people to modify some limited areas of content on the platform autonomously. What's best about it all is the incredibly high level of service and support we got from the Canapii team, with a dedicated person meeting us weekly and responding to emails very promptly, coordinating adaptations with the developers...etc. All of this included in the initial cost without additions! **What do you dislike about Canapii?** The platform backend could be a bit more intutive, and can feel at times a bit slow in loading. The look of the agenda could be improved. The hotel function was not very useful. We did not use networking or gamification or payment functions. **What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?** The platform can manage all aspects of a large hybrid event, all needs are covered by the platform internally without the need to integrate external software. I have just come across to this app for one of our Executive summit in Lucknow...now our office in Turkey & Dubai are also using the same upon my recommedation. **What do you dislike about Canapii?** There should be 24X7 Chat assistance. You might get stuck with many features where you seek help, but they respond during their operations hours. I like meeting young folks starting out their careers and hearing about the great experiences and work they have done so far. **What do you dislike about Canapii?** I disliked going into the experience with the feeling that I didn't have any value to offer these young adults who are starting their careers. However, I had been assured by others that had participated that I wouldn't feel that way once I got started. Once I got into the session with Yasmin she quickly gave me the impression that my experiences and opinions about my career experience and using Linkedin throughout my career was interesting and valuable to her. The only suggestion I could offer here is maybe give the volunteers some examples of how their skills and knowledge are valuable to adults just starting their careers. **What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?** I think Canapii is helping me personally to have more faith in the new generation and learn how to connect with them. I have always liked meeting people whose thought process were different than mine and had a different outlook on life and career but I was concerned that I had little to offer them. Canapii has shown me that is not the case. From a business standpoint I believe my experiences with Canappii is helping me to better connect with highly motivated young adults and avoid communication confusion. ### 23. The Canapii support team was also fantastic, we always knew that we could reach out if we got stuck or ran into any issues and they would be right there with us to figure it out. I also like the adaptability of Canapii in the actual layout of the event site and on the backend with the ability to target attendees and customize so many of the features. **What do you dislike about Canapii?** Some of in-person attendees found the app hard to use and had issues with it loading, but to be fair our venue was in a pretty remote location so the connectivity issues could have been linked to where we were not the app itself. I also would have appreciated another option for evaluation other than just the polling feature, which only really works well for the virtual sessions, not in-person sessions. Perhaps an internal feature more like Survey Monkey or Forms or integration to those platforms. **What problems is Canapii solving and how is that benefiting you?** This was out first year attempting a hybrid event and I was specifically looking for a platform that would provide a engaging and easy to use experience for both our virtual attendees and in-person attendees. Canapii helped us bridge the hybrid space and was affordable.
