Our agency requires us to use their CRM for registrations, and CampDoc has been the only form collection software that we have found that will work with us for that use. Everything is organized and user-friendly. CampDoc's support is unrivaled. They are friendly, helpful, and very quick to respond anytime we need help. It is easy to check which campers haven't completed forms or which campers have health or behavior concerns and then be able to send just those campers messages as reminders or follow-ups. Our campers' parents also find it easy to use, which is a win-win for everyone! Information is saved year-to-year, so our returning families have an easy process to complete everything. **What do you dislike about CampDoc?** My biggest complaint about CampDoc is that our families who have multiple campers have to enter their common information separately; however, once it is entered, it is such an easy process year-to-year for them to approve if there aren't any changes. It would be great if there was an app that could be used for easy access to camper information while walking around the campgrounds. **What problems is CampDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** CampDoc is an easy solution for collecting forms for our campers. It saves me so much time and energy. This software is going to streamline alot of our prexisting processes and save our staff so much time each year! Our staff applications, camper registrations, and various logs will all be able to live in CampDoc, keeping us much more organized. **What do you dislike about CampDoc?** It seems like most all edits to programs need to go through the CampDoc team rather than just making manual adjustments ourself. The reports allow for easy access to specific criteria. *New for our 2024 set up was the addition of the Bug Herd program to do all the updating through vs passing documents back and forth. Bug Herd was MUCH easier to do our annual updating! **What do you dislike about CampDoc?** Once in awhile there is a feature or report I wish was there that is not, but in the big picture it is a minimal problem vs the benefits CampDoc had. I also wish we had the capability to do some editing/updating ourselves for quick fixes. **What problems is CampDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before CampDoc, we were manually inputting our camp registrations and data. CampDoc saves us a lot of time and errors. The reports are endless to pull the data we need for specific criteria. This was my first year being a part of the onboarding and editing process and every step of the way the CampDoc team was so helpful with all my questions. The use of BugHerd for editing the page was equally easy to use. Making the necessary edits was simple and done within a timely manner. I love the payment option for parents. It is also nice not to keep track of paperwork and create endless spreadsheets. I found it easy to schedule appointments to talk to people and guide me. There were a few bumps along the way both times, however the customer service was so quick that it is the main reason I kept the software. **What do you dislike about CampDoc?** There is definetly a learning curve. Teaching counselors attendance before it's live is difficult. I wish it auto tagged registrations to organize them quickly. **What problems is CampDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** This is has saved so many headaches at the front desk for registrations. It is also very user-friendly for us during program preperations. I can quickly access participant profiles to look at health profile information, approved pick up lists, and future registrations. It has helped us so much that our organization is increasing the use of DocNetwork and will now be using SchoolDoc for other educational programming. **What do you dislike about CampDoc?** I'm not sure if I would consider this a true downside, but there are so many features that CampDoc has that it does take a little while to learn everything. Their support team is amazing though, helping us learn everything we need and they frequently offer online webinars to learn new or updated features! **What problems is CampDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before, our registration was in multiple pieces. Parents would go to one place to sign up, a second place to add health information and a third place for payment. With CampDoc we are able to have parents fill out all of this information and process all payments through one website. It has also helped us to raise money for our scholarship program. I also appreciate that they listen to your recommendations and needs, and work to make changes on their platform to meet the needs of their clients. **What do you dislike about CampDoc?** For our camp, we have various programs with varying needs. It's a bit hard to cater to the needs of each program. Also, it would be helpful if there were more automation capabilities. **What problems is CampDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** They recently made their trusted contacts feature available through their list builder which is great for camps like mine where we don't use computers at check in. ### 10. I never have problems with CampDoc, but as it is a new program for us, I often ask how they do things. I get immediate responses with links to support pages and videos. Apart from that, the interface is easy to use and it's considerably cheaper than our previous software. **What do you dislike about CampDoc?** We have a unique camp, and there are only a few areas that don't match. They have ways of doing workarounds, and I wouldn't even really say these are dislikes. They are just different ways of solving a problem. **What problems is CampDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** Everything is an online form. In the past, we had 500 families emailing, or snail mailing, us about 10 different forms that we spent dozens of hours scanning, renaming, and uploading. Now we feel like we are not doing things since it takes care of all that for us. Our old software made us put sheets on the wall explaining "if you want to do X, you have to go to menu B and look for option R." Awesome team! Both their onboarding teams and implementation temas are great at answering questions and quick to respond. Love that the applicant information can pull forward year after year, makes it easier on our families to apply to camp. **What do you dislike about CampDoc?** There are some features that would be helpful, like automating emails based on benchmarks, but that is more of a wish list thing than something that doesnt work well. Only downside that I have run into is some things are set formats, so it makes it diffult to customize, but those items come up infrequently. **What problems is CampDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** Connection between camper applicaiton and eMARs has been so helpful. Not having to transfer infomation to differnt systems or having to hand write medication list saves so much time for a medcial camp. ### 13. There are truly no stupid questions with CampDoc - they will patiently listen and respond to your multiple changes and edits and let you know if something is not possible (though that is rarely the case). Their integration of BugHerd to make it easier for program administrator to ask for changes to the user interface shows how the organization is dedicated to continuously improving their product to the benefit of their customers. We also appreciate that information carries over from year to year so camp families are not having to reenter demographic data every time they apply to one of our programs. Because we are a medical needs camp, our camp application is NOT short so anything that saves time for the busy caregivers of our campers is beneficial. **What do you dislike about CampDoc?** CampDoc is not the cheapest product out there but the benefits of using it far outweigh the costs. **What problems is CampDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** CampDoc solves the problem of collecting, storing, and organizing camper data, especially camper medical data, in a way that makes sense. This is a huge timesaver when it comes to preparing for camp. CampDoc is intuitive to use and it's support modules are excellent, which makes it easy to onboard other administrators or users to help in the management of camper data. ### 14. Campdoc staff are easy to contact and quick to find solutions. Making sure our health forms made sense and were easy to read was a breeze. We do registration in a different platform, and paying for the Importer Tool has made uploads so much simpler. We used the software every day for camps, and often there were very few hiccups. Seasonal staff were able to quickly learn and utilize the software, and it seems like caregivers didn't have much of a problem either. **What do you dislike about CampDoc?** Some features could be frustrating and inconsistent: the Notes feature we stopped using because of restrictions (which type of Note was entered or when it was entered), and we wish Trusted Contacts had a few more features to make it more user friendly. A way to access information in an offline mode would be incredibly helpful. **What problems is CampDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** Campdoc gives a tool that quickly builds our camp rosters, allows us to access camper information on the fly, and makes check in/out simple. ### 15. We wish we just just edit the pages ourselves and then just have the internal review look it over and make sure it's all good. Oddly, I love that their primary color is green because our participants also associate us with the color green. Last year we had an issue in the middle of season, and we needed to change our health profile quickly. I would have been able to make this change instantly had I had access to do so. The software itself is powerful and has a notable learning curve, but upon getting past that curve users are treated to an organized, convenient, and robust system for tracking registration and other camp-adjacent information. **What do you dislike about CampDoc?** The software can struggle to be user-friendly, especially if there are many individuals in administrative roles or otherwise taking responsibility for registration management. There are also a lot of features that are organization doesn't end up using, which can be cumbersome to avoid. To be fair, we aren't strictly a summer camp, so this may be an isolated issue. **What problems is CampDoc solving and how is that benefiting you?** CampDoc essentially solves intake and registration for us. We're able to have a series of organized rosters for different groups with pertinent medical, dietary, and other personal information in a convenient online place. The software has a powerful and robust ability to organize data and display/print different rosters based on need.
