"An easy solution for a small business admin headache"
What do you like best about Calamari?

As a small business, administrative tasks can be very tedious. Keeping track of employee time off has always been a headache until I found calamari. Simple set up and it integrates well with Slack so that time off can be requested. approved,other team members notified of upcoming time off of colleagues, Balances are automatically updated throughout the year. What do you like best about Calamari?

We use the HR module in Calamari to handle vacations/sick leaves and regular employee leaves. Our team is distributed across Serbia, BiH and Jordan. Having an easy to use online platform, with fair per user pricing plans that is available to all our employees cross border was crucial. Our teams use it daily, we rely on its data to issue our service invoices. We track entitlements, vacation trends and much more. We recently integrate it via the API using an automation platform to issue invoices on a monthly basis. We rarely require customer support as the documentation is very good and clear with step by step instructions. Whenever we needed extra help the team at Calamari was amazing. The move to Clamari was easy, it took us couple of hours to setup the teams and we were good to go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Calamari?

The mobile app for Calamari is functional. It can be polished a little bit more, however, it does deliver the main focus for us which allows our managers to approve/decline requests on the go especially during travel time. The platform is very stable, it had one or two outages since we started using it in January 2022 (2.5 years so far). The communication of outages or maintenance events can be enhanced. To be fair, those two incidents were solved quickly (less than a couple of hours) and it had no impact on our day to day business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Getting time off is usually a headache, but Calamari turns it into an easy process. Click, click, bam – vacation requested! Plus, it's got this cool auto-calculate thing for leaves. What do you like best about Calamari?

it is very easy to keep track of your time off. i'm only using it as a user and to be fair it's not too much different than other annual leave management software. has integrations with slack which is good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Calamari?

not that i think it should be more complex, however the design seems a bit bland and boring. maybe the developers should work on making it a bit more colourful and playful or something as the logo gives me this kind of vibe Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Calamari's function is simple - to manage stuff days off. So is a Calamari itself - a simple tool without any excess features, very comprehensible and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Calamari?

I didn't see any things that could be considered flaws in Calamari. Maybe one thing, more emotional than functional: you should use Calamari when you are sick, so sometimes it reminds you about not-so-happy times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Calamari?

It is very easy to track when teammates are off, as well as see your total vs current time off entitlement. Plus, the reminder emails ensure I always get back to my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Calamari?

The Apply and Calendar pages look nearly identical and should be combined. I often find myself trying to do tasks appropriate to one on the other. The Board section itself is also redundant with the tabs on the left hand side Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
