I have also accessed another template with important information on Term Sheets. Business-in-a-Box helped me saving USD 2K further to help me understand what those contracts look like. I will talk to my lawyer without a doubt. However BiB helped focusing my lawyer in the Closing and Signing phases of my M&A transaction. After choosing a template, I can customize the document, and the options for customization are very useful as well. **What do you dislike about Business-in-a-Box?** It would be nice if Membership options had more pricing tiers and one-off options. Also, there is a huge list of document templates, so clearer categorization/indexing of documents would be helpful. **Recommendations to others considering Business-in-a-Box:** Business-in-a-Box is a great resource. Creating basic documents is time-consuming, so whether you keep most of the content from a Business-in-a-Box template, or use it as a starting place for your own customizations, it is a time-saver. I found that the website was easy to understand, although the database is extensive so may take some experimenation with keywords to make sure you find what you need. **What problems is Business-in-a-Box solving and how is that benefiting you?** Business-in-a-Box gives me base templates for partnership agreements, affiliate agreements, MOU's and more. This allows me to customize to my liking and create the final documents much more quickly than starting from scratch. With this resource I find that the style of templates and finished documents work well with my various projects and partners. ### 6. It's like I own three businesses from three different industries. The documents that I need to run the backend and frontend of my business come from many different categories of business. Business-in-a-box has just about anything I need. The documents are of good quality and very professional. I can use this tool to look at how a specific document is typically formatted and create my own from their examples. If I want to create a document, but I have writer's block, I can use this tool as a reference and get ideas. I can also use a document in the app as-is if I need a document quickly. All I have to do is plug in my information and make a few changes then I'm finished! As a business owner who uses business documents and forms every day, this tool is a significant time-saver. They have resources that can be used for different areas of your buiness operations. You can use it to create a business plan with templates from your specific industry, create business proposals by your profession, they have templates for policies, procedures, agreements, marketing planning, resolutions, checklists, guides, forms, spreadsheets, worksheets, formal/business letters, press releases, employee handbooks, budgeting and finanacial resources, and it even has some really helpful how-to's for many different areas of business operations. **What do you dislike about Business-in-a-Box?** Before I begin, the software is worth the money. I'm going to complain about pricing a little bit, but please just understand, this software is well worth the price. It has paid for itself many times already. However, I'm just getting my business started up, so money isn't rolling in the way I would like for it to be. The price for the software was very high for me at this stage of my business, but I also needed the benefits of this software the most during this stage of my business. It took a lot of thinking and budgeting before I decided to go through with the purchase. I'm glad I did, because it truly has paid for itself and has been a big help to me every day. I just wish that they had a different pricing strategy that would be beneficial to new business owners that aren't making much money yet. Whether it be a pay-per-document plan or a quantity-based plan where you buy credits to pay for documents and forms. **Recommendations to others considering Business-in-a-Box:** As a "budgeting junkie," I advise you to ensure you're in a position financially to pay for the software first. But, If you are able to squeeze it into your budget somehow, DO IT! BUY IT! These business forms are the same as used in your daily course of business. The cover rental, legal, and general business forms. The best is the startup business packet. This can be very useful if you are looking to start your own business and don't want to spend high fees on letting a company do it for you. **What do you dislike about Business-in-a-Box?** The only dislike I had was with the free trial and the limitations. You only have free access for 7 days with only certain forms available to try for free. I think when you advertise full access you should have full access. **Recommendations to others considering Business-in-a-Box:** If you use any contracts, agreements, leases, etc. this is the program for you. You won't have to go in search of another form, it's in the box! Their monthly cost is low and worth the money, **What problems is Business-in-a-Box solving and how is that benefiting you?** When working on a contract, agreement, etc. I have everything I need right in this program and awesome support. The various form options are an awesome benefit. The templets are easy to download and are all in MS Word and can be customized. This beats searching the internet for free forms that are not "FREE". The more I work with this program the more I find it useful. ### 10. Starting a business and dealing with the legalities of it can seem like an overwhelming task. Business-in-a-Box does a great job of offering A LOT of pre-made templates for all different types of businesses and use cases. **What do you dislike about Business-in-a-Box?** There's really no cons that I can see. That said, there are some things to consider when using a premade template versus actually using a real lawyer. There are some questions as to how well these documents will hold up in the court of law, but that is the same issue with LegalZoom and Rocketlawyer as well.
