**Describe the project or task Brain Candy helped with:**

BrainCandy is used to create learning pathways that pull content from every imaginable place.  Have a video from YouTube you want included? No problem.  Have a LinkedIn Blog that you feel would benefit new employees? No problem.  Want to include links to your businesses customer Learning Management System (LMS)? No problem.  Want to add a document for download and review?  No Problem!!  If you can link to it, you can add it.

Brain Candy functionally allows you to generate new training pathways for every conceivable job role, enrichment effort, or even growth/training opportunities.

**What do you like best about Brain Candy?**

Brain Candy fully supports adding links to every type of content you can think of: Videos, eLearning, Virtual Training, Formal Training opportunities, Blogs, Vlogs, Tubes, and commentaries.  If you find something you want included in a learning pathway, you can customize the pathway to include it.  
Unlike so many other learning solutions, this one isn't about managing the content directly. It's about linking content sources to the pathways you want.  Infinitely flexible, high customization.

**What do you dislike about Brain Candy?**

Initially, we found that the BrainCandy solution would enable you to create your own pathways, but we ran into a problem where BrainCandy wouldn't allow you to "assign" the ownership of the pathway to someone else.  This was super-annoying as the pathways would all have to be rebuilt by the new managers.  Adoption rate dropped significantly, until this was fixed.  So... when you get your own solution, make sure your IT department has "transfer of pathway ownership" figured out!

**Recommendations to others considering Brain Candy:**

If you're looking to connect multiple training points into one, BrainCandy is phenomenal. If you're looking for a fully capable Learning Management system, to track certifications, training, and manage courses, get an LMS along WITH BrainCandy. :)

**What problems is Brain Candy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customized learning pathways solve problems of connecting multiple points of learning into one pathway.  No longer, is it required to have a document stored with a bunch of links to what new employees should look at.. .and then return and report to management whether or not they did.  Now, the manager just sends the pathway to the new learner, and everything is tracked automatically.  Visited that site? CHECK!  Watched that video? CHECK!  Took that Training? CHECK!  So easy, so useful.
