I get to know my customer's journey with Bombora company surge, It is a great Intent data solution provider and I get to analyse my marketing data with solutions to process further site visitors. It also helps me to find data on various topis helping me to create content worldwide.

Nothing is to dislike but there would be better approach towards talking to an expert as it is intense training required to answer every set of doubts regarding this solution. Other than it it has great scope to accelerate strategies in one's own business.

I struggle with data in various topics and using just SEO is not always an option , sometimes I need to filter out data which is irrelevant. That makes it smoother with relevant B2B data which I can find only on Bombora company surge. It saves a lot of time with core concept management I can also focus on what is necessary.

Very expensive and too much learning curve compared to other tools like apollo , support team was okay and we have to wait a long to connect with right team

Every technology business need a reliable B2B intent data platform that offers valuable data on what target audience is researching before purchasing and this data is used to identify the right accounts and allow sales and marketing teams to tailor marketing and sales messaging to solve their pain point in order to win the deal. It’s also helpful when running ads to show to accounts actively researching for our solutions

**What do you like best about Bombora Company Surge®?**

The most fantastic thing about using this software is that you can integrate and collaborate all your data with all your company's systems and servers to take quicker actions and follow-ups on every inquiry. The platforms help analyse the data more preciously and help you target the audience accordingly. With the help of this fantastic tool, you can research your business or improve your business in marketing and grow it. A perfect platform for small and medium-sized business organizations for marketing tactics.

**What do you dislike about Bombora Company Surge®?**

The software does not support integrating or importing the contact information into this software, you need to to use third-party application for storing the contact data of targeted customers, which makes the software workflow a little bit slower and even te processing speed is also affected.

The software is helping us in saving time in analyzing our customer's needs. The software gives me some idea about my customer's requirements. Communication and connecting with customers have been more accessible with platforms.

When you think about the proliferation of ABM and account-based everything regarding customer acquisition in B2B over the last five or so years, much of this idea around buyer intent data tracking stems from this product.

**What do you dislike about Bombora Company Surge®?**

At times there is a bit of ambiguity in the results, and also, at times, the filtering and drill-downs are too broad or relatively not narrow enough. Then when it comes to individual targeting rather than the more general company level, purview would make a difference.

**What problems is Bombora Company Surge® solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When you need to aggregate a list of companies that are not just fitting the vague idea of an intuition-driven ICP to target and use as leads to generate new opportunities of the past. This brings you to the future by identifying companies that are actually searching and surging enough in that search volume across their company that it quantifies who is actually in the market and buying mode for your product category.

Bombora Company Surge is straightforward and easy to use. I came in with no prior experience and was quickly able to master the tool. It provides us a ton of benefits.

Integration with the LinkedIn Campaign Manager could be better. We have to manually download, filter, and then upload our Bombora audiences into LinkedIn. Dynamic updating would be great.

Bombora solves a lot of our problems around finding the right audience at the right time. Surge reports provide helpful insights into which companies are actively researching our product, which lets us target them in real time.

Access to tons of intent categories that integrates easily with HubSpot CRM.

**What do you dislike about Bombora Company Surge®?**

Lack of high-quality company data makes Bombora almost useless.  If you are trying to focus on specific industries and company sizes the Bombora database is really bad.  I have to spend significant time cleaning up the data before being able to use it.  Lots of companies are misclassified by size and industry. I get the industry and company size data is not going to be perfect but compared to other tools available it feels much worse.

**What problems is Bombora Company Surge® solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main reason we purchased Bombora was to get access to companies showing intent signals for the products/services we sell and getting in front of these buyers at the right time.  This has opened the door for new sales but less so compared to other intent providers.

**What do you like best about Bombora Company Surge®?**

Bombora has allowed us to revolutionize how we prospect. No longer do we go after organizations randomly, we only do it based on intent. In turn, our conversion rate has increased massively and we're getting more sales with a shorter sales cycle.

**What do you dislike about Bombora Company Surge®?**

What I would love to see is for the reports more user-friendly. Currently, they come in an Excel format which is fine, but it'd be amazing if there was a very seamless interface so that the sheets became redundant.

**What problems is Bombora Company Surge® solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our sales development reps are able to be much more efficient and book more meetings. We don't have to waste time on organizations that have no intent, we can go after those that are engaged and in an active sales cycle.

**What do you like best about Bombora Company Surge®?**

The platform is incredibly intuitive and the user experience is easy to use. My favorite part of the tool is the automatic surge report and net-new account to HubSpot. We come in each Monday with a new set of accounts actively shopping for our services and solutions can pull contacts from those intent companies to ensure our content is in front of them.

The Bombora and Hubspot integration is also incredibly robust. We can see a contact's surge score, the # of topic they're searching for, which topics, and if they're surging on any clusters right off of the contact screen.

**What do you dislike about Bombora Company Surge®?**

My least favorite part is more of a capability issue between Cognism and Bombora together. Each monday when Bombora sends over our list of net-new accounts, I have to download those companies and import them into Cognism to pull contacts. It would be nice if they could work together on deeper integration capabilities to have the intent and ICP contacts meet in the middle at HubSpot.

Every marketer's dream is to get in front of the right people at the right time. Bombora allows our marketing team to be more strategic with our outreach so that we're appealing to the pain points/solutions a prospect is actively researching.

**What do you like best about Bombora Company Surge®?**

Bombora has a lot of keyword coverage in our rather niche industry which has been a challenge using other intent data providers. We regularly meet with our CSM and support as needed and have found them to be very helpful in enabling our teams to use the data. We are also really enjoying seeing the product expand with new reports and SFDC integration features that help us better deliver surging accounts to our sales team. Lastly, props to the Bombora marketing team - their events are great and super informative!

**What do you dislike about Bombora Company Surge®?**

We haven't seen as much success with our surging accounts as we could be. I do wish there was a stronger way to connect the account to the contact as well, makes it difficult for our BDRs to activate.

We are using Bombora Company Surge to fuel our marketing and ABM campaigns, draft relevant topic-related content and build out sequences and account lists for our business development team.

Our team has really been able to gain insight on who is searching for virtual events and event technology. This helps us then create campaigns and know who to target when creating them.

The topics don't always match what we're looking for, but we do use this in more broad terms anyway. I do wish more of our competitors were listed on the tool to help create searches for them.

Bombora is pretty easy to set up and start getting data right away. You can get rolling pretty quickly and it's easy to start sharing the data with others in your company.

It would be nice if there were built-in dashboards for HubSpot once you did the integration, instead of having to build them yourself. It's not difficult to set up but it would be more convenient.

I like the ability to integrate the data with our entire tech stack, it makes it super easy to make the data actionable. There is a large number of topics to follow with new ones added quarterly, you can even suggest new topics to be added.

I wish the data pushed down to the contacts associated with the companies or even better had contact level intent data. Other than that it's a super easy tool to use.

Bombora helps us further qualify accounts in our funnel and helps us identify topics they look at pre sale. It is super helpful to do lookbacks on your closed won and closed lost data to see what and when they were looking at topics you are following.

Bombora Surge helps our sales reps in their prospecting by showing them which accounts and prospects they should be pursuing. It allows us to more precisely target companies who are in the market for our category of technology, so that we don't waste time looking in the wrong places.

Cannot think of many dislikes. We have been a user of this product for over two years, with no complaints from admins or end users. I see us continuing to use the product.

- It does not save historical data
- Takes anywhere between 6 - 8 weeks for a new keyword to be added in the taxonomy

I like the fact that it's a 7-day surge, not just someone at a company that clicked on an article on the web but shows an actual surge in activity.

Nothing yet. I cannot say anything negative about Bombora. The people are great, and the product I use is exceptional. It has made me money!

The range of topics within the taxonomy. There is a large variety even within our very niche industry. It allows us to create a variety of topic clusters and develop specific messaging around those areas.

I would say that the contact data for the companies within the report isn't native, you have to integrate or purchase other software like Cognism, SalesIntel, etc.

The surge data is heavily aimed at the United States. I would say 80-90% in my case. It would be good to see more data available for other regions.

Consider your market size, the number of verticals you target, and geographic regions. Bombora works well with topic clusters, so if you are highly niche, as in our case, the data will be limited.

Primarily to prioritise accounts we are targeting. Combining the data with our 1st party data helps us form a clear view of the accounts most likely to be in-market for our solutions. It also plays an important part in planning new verticals and solutions.

This tool allows us to create specific focus areas by clusters of key words, and track surges accordingly, right in Salesforce, unlocking more targeted messaging both in terms of recipient and content served.

The only wish I have is that it was a faster process to update clusters. It usually takes us a few weeks to swap out key words... other than that, it's a great experience!

It is incredibly easy to create insight reports. additionally, Not having to worry about adding only a limited number of keywords allows for a lot of flexibility in our surge reports

We haven't run into any issues yet. Getting sales to adopt and utilize the weekly reports that are emailed to them can be difficult but I'm hoping the salesforce integration solves that.

**Recommendations to others considering Bombora Company Surge®:**

I highly recommend committing to Bombora, especially if intent data is something you have been missing within your marketing tech stack.  It's easy to use and highly effective when paired with other marketing strategies. We used an API integration to integrate with a data visualization tool.  In doing this, I can see our Target account's intent data along side web engagement, ad engagement and other marketing campaign metrics.  This provides us a wholistic picture of account activity allowing for a higher level of targeting and prioritization among our Target Accounts

Bombora's intent data allows us to be more targeted in marketing to our Target Account List.  Additionally, it helps us prioritize the accounts within our TAL.  Finally, we can supplement our TAL with additional accounts by understanding who in the market is showing intent.

**What do you like best about Bombora Company Surge®?**

Bombora has been a fantastic partner and solution for our company. We were able to spin up reports in Salesforce that combined Bombora data with G2 data. This took our sales team to the next level. Now each SDR/AE has their own report for their prospecting efforts and are able to create tailored, personalized cadences, referring to what the prospect actually wants to learn about. Once this report was stood up, our numbers tripled, and our pipeline reflected this. I can't overstate the impact this 'joined' Salesforce report had on our prospecting efforts. When a new rep joins a company, they are thrown hundreds of accounts, and this can be overwhelming. This report allows our reps to prioritize what accounts they should go after first. 

I would highly recommend this tool for anyone who is looking for an Intent Data solution. It is hands down the best out there on the market. I did a very in-depth competitor analysis and Bombora came out on top. 

Furthermore - the integration between Bombora and Salesforce is seamless and our SDR/AE team uses it every single day, and it had become a staple in their workflow. So much so that we've made Bombora part of our onboarding process for sales and marketing.

Nothing. This tool delivered exactly what I was hoping it would.

Bombora's intent data is a valuable predictor of companies that are in buying cycles and ready to have a conversation. It's been a critical part of our ABM strategy to drive higher engagement, eliminate campaign waste, and improve metrics like return on ad spend and CAC. Targeting ads to in-market accounts with relevant messaging has been a game-changer for our team. On top of that, the Salesforce integration allows our Sales and BDR teams to have visibility into the data and improve their prospecting efforts by prioritizing their outreach and personalizing messages. Other use cases that our marketing team uses Bombora for include accelerating leads through the funnel to becoming MQLs and determining what nurture content someone should receive.

The last thing I'll mention is that they have a phenomenal customer success team. Our CSM Kelly LaRue has been a pleasure to work with, has great suggestions on operationalizing the data, and always responds to our questions promptly.

Bombora delivered as advertised. I would be stretching to find something that I dislike. There was once an issue with their Salesforce integration creating duplicate surge records when Accounts were merged, but their product team was quick to roll out a fix and it hasn't been a problem since.

The platform is super easy to use and there are a lot of integrations with other MarTech software like Marketo, Rollworks, Salesforce, Metadata, 6Sense, etc. Also the team is very willing to give ideas for new ways to use the data.

If you are in a very new market or are in the stage of "category creation", it may not have the keywords you need to track so you'll have to go off of tangential keywords. The team is great at taking inputs for new keywords, but they can take months before you can use them in your queries.

**Recommendations to others considering Bombora Company Surge®:**

see if you can do it on a trial. I recommend that with any marketing SaaS tool.

**What problems is Bombora Company Surge® solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used it to help prioritize accounts for both sales and marketing follow up. Sales was using it to get a sense of what topics accounts were surging on, and tailoring their outbound. We found we had better response rates than when we were just going after all accounts with a blanket message.

Marketing used the integration with Rollworks to target ads based on intent keywords - we usually had better ad campaign performance (click through rates) when doing it this way.
