**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

A very powerful measuring tool. It saves more time and gives you a more accurate quantity!

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

It requires a large space in my computer.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam Revu significantly enhances the efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration capabilities of estimators. This not only streamlines the estimating process but also improves overall project management and outcomes. The integration of digital tools within Bluebeam Revu reduces manual workloads and errors, ultimately leading to cost savings and more precise project estimations.

  ### 2. Use it every day

**Reviewed by:** Raffael G. | Senior Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Bluebeam is very easy to use and user friendly once you get to know and practice using it.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

I have nothing negative to say yet for now.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it very easy to comment on plans and helps me tremendously when I need take-offs. It scales my drawings 100%

  ### 3. Bluebeam is quite useful.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

It can be used as an add-in to Autodesk Revit making printing hundreds of sheets easier.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

There is nothing that I dislike about Bluebeam.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam allows printing of hundreds of sheets at once by just the sheet number.

  ### 4. Great PDF editor and manager for AEC projects and collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Robust collaboration tools allow many users to integrate edits and thoughts in one place. Customer service is responsive and many tutorial materials are available online. Integration to existing workflows is very easy.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Bluebeam is very good at its specific uses, however extensive markups and design work is lacking in the toolboxes supplied with the standard program.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Expedited tasks and seamless integration with other users, both internal and external.

  ### 5. Better than Adobe Pro

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric K. | Company Co-Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

The markup tools are far superior to Adobe when working individually. The ability to collaborate in the Studio function makes my work so efficient. I also love the ability to create shortcut tools that makes sealing drawings super fast.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

I had a perpetual license that I had been using since 2016. They no longer support that license, so I have to go with the subscription model, which is a bit of a bummer. Other than that, my only other feedback is that reading long reports is easier in Adobe.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a mechanical engineer, not an architect. But I love being able to do takeoffs within the program. I also use the comment function in the studio to let the architect know when I see coordination issues. I also find stamping in Bluebeam to be faster than in CAD.

  ### 6. My Bluebeam Revu Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fareed S. | Associate , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Easy to print and save an electronic copy of an article or important document for future use. Love the ease of editing feature included in the program. My favorite part is merging PDF documents

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Have always loved every feature of this program. Cannot think of any bad feature.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Have not come across any issues as an user.

  ### 7. Bluebeam in an engineering field is a game changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer I. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

I like that there are so many ways to maximize the use of Bluebeam from commenting on PDF's to making mark-ups and notes on engineering plans and documents that need reviewed.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

There aren't many things to dislike about Bluebeam except that it is a very detailed program that takes a lot of hands-on use and learning to understand what it can do to streamline document sharing, combining and mark-up.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam makes it so much easier for me to combine and review specifications that I need to add headers and footers to. It allows me to search a specific word or phrase when I need to make sure that all pages in a large document contain the same headers and footers. It also allows me to add or delete pages easily and make mark-ups for review. It makes exporting documents into another program extremely easy. It is a great streamlining tool.

  ### 8. Very powerful tool for mark-ups , review and collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghan B. | Project Manager & Site/Civil Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Lots of tools are available for mark-ups; you can get very granular with how you mark things up.
Also Bluebeam studio sessions provide the perfect way for teams to review documents and plans collaboratively so you know who left what comment when.
When using Bluebeam to view and mark-up CAD files I have the ability to work with individual layers and turn them on or off and edit viewing properties.
Also able to use stamps which facilitates submittal review.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Due to its attention to detail it can create rather large file sizes and we've yet to identify a great solution to downsize the file size to make it easier to store and share.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seamless drawing review and comment; submittal review and approval or rejection; PDF review and mark-up as well as organization with tabs and headings when conducting research.

  ### 9. BlueBeam Revu changed the way I work!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul A. | Owner, Principal Fire Protection Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

I like the ability to quickly and neatly add notes, comments and other information on a drawing or document. This software has streamlined my workload and saved time and postage!

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

The biggest downside to BlueBeam has been the shortcuts. While they have some shortcuts, I would like the ability to have user-defined shortcuts for some of my most used features.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam Revu has saved me more storage space than I could have ever dreamed possible when I started in consulting engineering. I no longer have to have full sized rolls of drawings laying around the office - pdfs take up no space unless I wish to print a set for my own use. I used to have to make at least four copies of redline drawings when reviewing shop drawings. Now I simply email a marked up drawing with neat notes!!

  ### 10. Bluebeam Revu the most user friendly PDF/DWG markup software available!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Everyone in my company uses Revu to mark up CAD drawings and share notes on construction drawings and it's super user friendly. New employees have no issue learning it quickly!

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

The full CAD support features require a paid subscription. This limits some users to haveing only manual markup abilities because we don't want to spend money for a full sunbscription for evey employee.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Bluebeam Revu to peer review architectural and construction drawings, markup CAD models, share notes between design teams and sales teams, and use it daily to keep track of changes and punch lists on drawing packages.

  ### 11. Well pleased!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

I really like the setup and editing capabilty within the software. I use it in my engineering work everyday from marking up drawings to digintally signing construction drawings.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

I can't really think of anything I dislike

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The collaboration and tracking really help us keep on top of things.

  ### 12. One of the best takeoff software on the market

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark H. | Estimator/PM, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Personally I like the cloud based storage and the ease of use of Bluebeam. I have used other non clouds based storages and it is difficult for multiple people to collaborate on a single project.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

There isnt anything to dislike about the program.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam is consolidating the steps normally taken while using a take off software and streamlining it. App integrations to the major plan storage software and cloud based storage drastically minimize plan upload and collaboration on projects.

  ### 13. Bluebeam Does the Hard Work for Me

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shayna K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

The most helpful part of Bluebeam is the ability to compile PDF documents and do quantity takeoffs on plan sets for my jobs. I can also add signatures and it is much more user friendly than Adobe.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Nothing comes to mind that's negative about Bluebeam. Everything that I need it to do, there's a function for. It's a higher technical product, a step up from Adobe in the best way.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam allows me to take quantity takeoffs and do my job easily. I can determine the length or square foot of anything I need and create a custom scale to make it accurate.

  ### 14. Great for Take offs and viewing/editing PDFs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

The customization of the tools. The ease of moving around a document and editing it. The resources for this software are extensive and easy to find for anything you need to look up

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Sometimes it slows down or freezes if it's been awhile since you saved the document and have implemented a few changes. It could be better if there was an autosave cycle

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes making markups and take-offs of a construction/architect plan very easy. It helps with the organization of large and small documents as well.

  ### 15. Bluebeam Revu Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catherine M. | Quantity Surveyor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Bluebeam Revu allows me to make markups on drawing and helps me in data management. This software makes me efficient and faster in my tasks as a quantity surveyor.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

I do not see any flaws yet while using this software. This software benefits the construction industry, especially in quantity surveying. It is efficient and not time-consuming.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam is beneficial because it makes me efficient ant faster in doing markups, measurements and comments on the drawing. Reviewing construction drawings is easier when using this software.

  ### 16. Great for drawing markups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer B. | Junior Interior Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

I use Blubeam Revu with my design team to spec check drawings and BOMs. It makes it easy to switch between files and easily redline changes.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Sometimes the program freezes when attempting to open drawings. There is usually not a problem while working in a drawing however.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Takeoffs, spec checks, and redlining.

  ### 17. Bluebeam has come a long way in the last 6 years.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Bluebeam has great customer support. You email them with your issues and in about 24 hours you have someone get back to you with an answer. The app has become more stable. Global searches come back with less mistakes and global take-offs are more reliable.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

It is resource heavy and it is noticeable when it loads up. For projects that require submitting time spent, it would be nice if each file created would have an automatic timer. That way if you have multiple projects you can access time spent without having to manually keep track of it.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stability has improved considerably even with big files. take-offs are more reliable. I don't feel that I have to double check my work because I don't trust the app.

  ### 18. Great tool for working and editing PDF's

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santiago A. G. | BIM Professional, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

It's a tool that helps you edit your PDFs in any way you want. Also is very light and fast, it's great for commenting on construction plans and workshop drawings

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

It is a bit difficult to organize your work environment because it has a lot of options and tools. Also, there are some tools or features that i don't understand or i don't know went to use.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It s excellent for commenting on construction plans so you can review them properly. Also, it's a perfect tool for 3D PDFs; this is a valuable feature because when you try it on other PDF readers, it is prolonged and doesn't work correctly. Also works for quantity takeoff based on drawings.

  ### 19. Bluebeam does everything we need for a reasonable price!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carla C. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Bluebeam Revu does all the basic PDF editing, markups, page management, etc easily without fanfare. Nice and simple and very effective. And then it also allows us to do calibration and measurement, which is extremely useful for us.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

I'm sad that they've moved to a subscription-based model, but I'm not surprised. Everything is going that way these days. The one-time purchase system was great while it lasted! I still love the software though, and would still recommend it highly.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to review property surveys quickly, like a high-level assessment re: setbacks, areas, etc. Bluebeam Revu can do this and in just a few clicks at that. It saves me a lot of time and helps me get quite accurate measurements.

  ### 20. Bluebeam 2021 is unusable.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

From a licensing and upgrade path viewpoint, its a nightmare. You have to upgrade all of your licenses all at once from 20 version to bluebeam 21 (which stands for the year, they were just really slow to bring it out), and if you have existing licenses on previous versions, you cannot test out 21 with a few users without upgrading an entire group of licenses.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Licensing has become a nightmare so that they can turn it into a subscription model that will most likely double the price from the previous years models. Also upgrading has been a nightmare and just flat out doesnt work. Bluebeam support takes days to get back to you and is fairly unhelpful.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluebeam:**

Purchase maintenance and enough licenses to last for a long time. The per seat price has nearly doubled in 4 years and once you have purchased the licenses and continue to pay maintenance on them you keep them and they upgrade to the newest version. We also use bluebeam enterprise which helps us manage the licenses more efficiently. Instead of having to email to revoke licenses etc we can simply use their portal.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Construction plan review would be completely cumbersome and almost impossible with Adobe or other pdf editing documents.

  ### 21. Robust Tool for AEC Industry

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Bluebeam Revu has a vast array of tools allowing users to complete nearly any necessary markup, review, document management. It's features made for AEC professionals are handy.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Sometimes, pdf pages fail to load and must be reloaded.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluebeam:**

This software is worth the investment for any AEC professional looking to organize, simplify, and digitize their workflow.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Revu to review drawings, view and complete drawing markups, coordinate with other designers and compile documents sets. As an architect, this takes the place of what would otherwise be done by hand on paper and scanned or mailed. Revu allows my workflow to be predominantly digital and help keep track of revisions and modifications.

  ### 22. Good source for redlining

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rawad A. | Project Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Easy to assign people to each sheet. Architectural drawings are a very good tool to explore and use. Easy to invite other disciplines to the BlueBeam session. Making everyone able to see the changes instantly.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Lots of subscriptions are needed to unlock the full features. I wish it could be all at one price.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped create collaborative work, whether it is with our internal team or with other consultants.

  ### 23. Great for marking up documents in a team environment using BlueBeam Revu Studio

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Fairly easy to learn, and I am sure I have not yet discovered many features.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

It would be nice if it was more "drafting savvy," that is, more coordinate geometry commands and tools.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrating a remote workforce, collaborating with others in real-time.

  ### 24. Best PDF editor / viewer in the market

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Easy to use and the feature set is robust.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Cost has steadlily been rising since they have come to market.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unified tool set and application for viewing, editing, and sharing pdf's.

  ### 25. The ultimate standard for PDF viewing & live collaborating.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hector S. | Electrical Drafter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

By far, the level of live collaboration that can take place is crucial for my work. Just as helpful are the many tools and editing abilities within. If one would compare it to Abobe, it is my opinion that there isn't anything Bluebeam cant do and do better than the former.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

There are genuinely very few and far between issues with this sofware. One minor one I could point to is potential lags in service, but these are minor. There was a time when auto-saving login passwords were an issue, but it has since been corrected via software updates.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Live collaboration tends to be a headache in my industry. With Bluebeam, live sessions can be created, and essential coordination items can quickly be addressed with multiple ways to alert all collaborators involved.

  ### 26. Good PDF tool with advanced collaboration features!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumukha B. | Electrical Engineer, Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Its a most advanced PDF review / editor / markup tool. Unlike other softwares, its specially designed to increase productivity by including wide variety of options and content collaboration service which is good for shared documents.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Its little complicated and not user friendly for a typical user looking for PDF softwares. Its more of corporate collaboration oriented.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Revu to review and markup construction plans / drawings and collaborate with others overseas in our organization as well as with people outside the organization.

  ### 27. Best PDF Program for the Construction Industry

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civil Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Bluebeam is by far the best PDF program for construction/architecture/engineering work. Marking up drawings is quick and easy. The hot keys make it a streamline process.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Native toolboxes for Structural Engineering would be very helpful. The current toolbox is limited and the scaling of the objects doesn't look good on some PDF's

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to mark-up drawings for in-house reviews and for consultant reviews that would otherwise talk longer by hand or using a more sophisticated BIM software like REVIT

  ### 28. Bluebeam

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan G. | owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Connection to excel. Estimating tools. drawing tools. I use the tool to connect thru to Excel in order to create an Design and Estimating system that can work across the design team, estimating team, ordering team and installers.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

not sure what to put here - the tool does everything I need to do right now but as I master everything and needs change I am sure I will find something - for now it works great for me

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are working on connecting the design process to estimating and ordering. By the interconnected nature of the pdf and excel files, we can create a function that achieves what we need.

  ### 29. Best Software for Pdf viewer and editing.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lav M. | Senior BIM engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

BlueBeam is very good software for view and editing pdf, also you can easily create any documents as per requirements. You can easily highlight the points and present your proper presentation.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

While using Bluebeam sometime it crashes and sometime some some commands are freeze like when scroll fastly in multiple pages pdf. Initially if you are new user then you are facing some problems to understand all things and you need more time to understand the user interface.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In Bluebeam you can easily highlight the marksup by giving cloud, alos you have arrows option to show it. You can match or change text type with other. You can split the screen in 2 windows either left right or updown. Also many settings are there you can easily customize the things as per requirements. And you can measure dimension of the geometry by using calibrate tool.

  ### 30. If your doing design work it's great.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** steven h. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

It's a pretty good program, definitely need a how to class to get going though. I like how it does everything

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

The over all flow of everything is tricky

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maybe some how to videos or better training videos would help

  ### 31. As basic to construction as the Hammer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H. | Project Manager/Superintendent, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Super Powerful and easy to use. I would not work without this product.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

It can be challenging to find all the tools to upload for markups.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can work with any PDF and make high-quality and professional markups. Bluebeam helps articulate information clearly and edit PDFs and other files.

  ### 32. Great pdf editor

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** jeremy H. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

This is a great software to edit PDF and annotate them. You can also edit text on some file, create forms, overlay drawings to find changes, ... there is almost unlimited possibilities

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

The interface is maybe not the most user-friendly but if you use it frequently, you will get used to it, and you will be able to use all the great tools and maybe even remember some shortcuts to make the work simpler.

  ### 33. Powerful, fast and flexible

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin L. | Engineering Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

Bluebeam provides a flexible and capable tool for marking up project drawings by multiple stakeholders. These project stakeholders include the Architect, Engineers, Contractor and Field users. It allows users to create a custom scale to take measurements for objects or items. This is especially helpful when a drawing or initial sketch is provided without a scale.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Recently Bluebeam became a subscription-based application, again creating issues for rural or remote users with little or no access to the internet. While reasonably priced and affordable, it is another addition to an already skyrocketing inflation rate.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is another product that provides multiple "off-label" uses. From developing workflow charts, marking up documents, including pdf(s) that cannot be opened using other applications, Bluebeam provides a vast array of tools to the user. I am still finding new applications.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Bluebeam?**

I do a large amount of scaling and measuring as a project estimator, and this program is very efficient for this purpose. I like that I can creat new quantifiable symbols as new items are used on various products.

**What do you dislike about Bluebeam?**

Some of the features do not allow me to create a legend to place on the blueprints after I have finished counting and measuring. It would be most helpful to be able to create legends all counted and measure items.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This program is crucial to my position; without it I would be printing a lot of full-size blueprints and spending hours measuring and counting manually. With Bluebeam this process is streamlined.

Importing to TIFF doesn't have the same drag and drop functionality as Adobe pro, and requires switching on and off a few things in the setting to print all the pdf drawings to seperate TIFFs.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluebeam:**

If you are wanting a simpler hybrid of Quotesoft and Adobe Pro I would consider using Bluebeam.

**What problems is Bluebeam solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bluebeam eliminates the need for a difficult adobe process for take-offs, or to print plans and manually take-off drawings the ''old school'' way with highlighter and pen.

  ### 42. Fantastic for doing markups

The ability to measure distances and how user-friendly it is. The built-in keyboard shortcuts help get work done effectively and efficiently. If you are an Architectural firm, you need to be using this software.

**Recommendations to others considering Bluebeam:**

Just buy it. you won't regret it. You will see more efficiencies.
