I have been looking for a platform like this for over a year. I have been extremely happy with Tribe as I built my own social media platform. Is is easy to set-up and use. Tribe has added value to membership in our trade association, especially during a time when in-person events and meetings cannot happen. We created an Online Community on Tribe at a fraction of the cost of what competitors are charging. This Online Community allows our members to ask questions and engage with us virtually! We have received great feedback so far from our members and people love joining our Community as it is so simple to use and requires zero onboarding.

In terms of customizability, Tribe offers a Community platform for the biggest tech geeks and for beginners. Tribe has provided me exactly what I was looking for, an online community with no dependency on a social platform that I can leverage for my business or brand. The support team has been responsive and the user community is helpful when it comes to customizing your community. You can tell that Tribe is still new and has limited resources. I don't dislike that, but if you require instant response times and expect your specific feature requests to be added quickly, you may be disappointed. What I know is that the platform is usable right now, they provide self-service support, have a helpful user community, and the platform in general has a lot of potential. The Rooted Collaborative just launched our membership portal on Tribe to house our global community of Black, Indigenous, and Woman of Color fundraisers. It's been such a joy to connect with each other through Tribe not just professionally, but also personally with the features Tribe offers to join different subgroups within the portal. Tribe is a great and easy platform to make a social media. When I found tribe I was very pleased when I saw that they had a free plan because it meant that it wouldn’t cost me anything and I was making my tribe for our family to connect over lockdown (as younger children wouldn’t have been allowed facebook or Instagram) so I looked for a safer alternative where I could add everyone and only them meaning the children wouldn’t be getting followed by strangers. Since then I have recommended Tribe to one of my friends who owns a school and they have implemented it for there students to stay in touch and also we have made one for students and staff to keep in touch in my own boarding house. For anyone who owns a business is part of a large family or would even like to start a random community with people they don’t know, i completely recommend Tribe as it is very easy to get started and their team is always happy to help. If they had to improve something it would be really nice if they had a mobile app although you can add it to your home screen on apple devices. Another great thing would be to have more layout options like one a bit more like Instagram. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tribe gives me the opportunity to stay connected with my community, and it is beyond easy to use.

Having a well-designed platform like this, makes the experience positive for all users, and this includes the admin role.

I'm loving Tribe; I feel the community has lots of functionalities and it allows an easy export of several layers of data (users, conversations, etc.). I’m using the free version of Tribe right now while establishing it as a platform with my users. It was really easy to set up and great quality considering there’s no payment needed! I understand there are more features with the paid version, which as my platform grows I’ll be very interested to check them out. There are a couple of tweaks that would make the experience better but they're very minor. Things like, when inviting members, being able to save your invite message so it's there the next time, or letting you know when you've already invited a user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
