It brings all the power of Google to the forefront and allows lots of advanced automation that speed up and help secure your cloud accounts. The ability to have an internal support crew to reach out is really exceptional and they are always really friendly and helpful. I have been a BetterCloud user for 6 years now and have re-deployed BetterCloud at my new org. It was the first I platform I purchased. **What do you dislike about BetterCloud?** This is for older accounts, the new accounts are no longer getting the old website issued - but for those who are with an older account, the one thing that is a bit odd is the g. and app. switching - I think they have fully addressed this but if you know, you know - there is a little bit of switching that has to happen when you are looking for reports and policies. This is by no means a deal-breaker, you just have to learn when to use their old design and when to leverage it. Again, I believe they have resolved this for new accounts. **Recommendations to others considering BetterCloud:** It's good to have all your platforms tied back to your Google/Microsoft account so the cross-platform automations performed in Bettercloud are smooth. **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** On-boarding and off-boarding, security alerts for all Saas platforms, Google file-sharing policy enforcement and alerting, multi-sass integrations - what am I not solving with BetterCloud! This is a very important tool for my IT team. If you need to step your Google-fu up a notch and are considering using a SaasOps tool, get BetterCloud. You will love the features and support the company offers. ### 7. For Google Wrokspace/G-Suite (whose admin console still feels like a work in progress) in particular it has been a life-saver. The ability to oversee and set delegate accounts on an administrative level is very useful, and to overwrite missing or incomplete signatures, both individually and with automation. Onboarding and offboarding automation has been helpful. The automation overall is quite powerful, and I feel I've only scraped the surface of what can be done with it. Their Online 2020 ' Altitude Convention was informative and interesting, and not just an extended ad for their products, as some of these are. And the shirt I got for attending is great, I still wear it regularly. **What do you dislike about BetterCloud?** The price tag is likely a bit high for some, but it is worth it for what is offered. A lack of support for GSuite shared drives (as of the time of writing this) is frustrating. It would be nice to have alerts and automation for file counts, and large scale adding/ moving/ deleting. **Recommendations to others considering BetterCloud:** A great solution for larger GSuite Organizations, and other SaaS products, with very helpful support. The implementation meetings, were very helpful and informative, more-so I think then with any other service I've worked with. **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is seriously helpful for controlling various aspects of GSuite, including on/off boarding, signatures, and drive filesharing. Alerts on public sharing from MyDrives has been very useful. ### 9. Okta is also rolling out their Workflows feature; which is robust but far less user friendly. **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Onboarding users - now takes just a few minutes to get accounts for a dozen tools setup. This makes what used to be a 2 hour process more like 20 minutes. Offboarding users - same thing; the main tools can all be deactivated basically instantly without opening and logging into multiple different sites We also have conversions for things like contractor to FTE; and auto-assigning people to groups that are very helpful. ### 10. The properties attached to an action are not human readable, and the fields they are entered into obscure them. You never know if you have one object or 10 in a field, so you have to manually select all, delete, then rebuild it. Seems like an easy fix. **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Aside from general on/offboarding we have ready to run workflows to respond to various security issues (e.g. lost phone). Having reminders when contracts are coming up for renewals helps us consciously decide if we want to renew a product, reduce/add licenses, etc. -Budgets feature allows for departments to more actively manage their software budgets and have real time data and visibility by department -Shows trends of when a product spend goes higher/lower per month which allows us to ensure that is accurate and intended -Employee surveys of software products are displayed in a grid that shows how critical and helpful the software products we use are as a company are and very useful in making decisions around the various products that we use. It is also helpful in knowing what people like or don't like about it in learning different ways to utilize various software as a company. -Syncs well with Intacct **What do you dislike about BetterCloud?** The only feature that would be a nice to have is an approval feature for contracts/contract renewals. **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** I love that we can organize all of our contracts and manage all of our subscriptions and spend all in one place. Introducing "app dot" with improved workflow changes has been a game changer - we're able to automate so much of our repetitive day-to-day tasks. Although I've been a long time user, I doing my first implementation with BetterCloud, and their implementation process is second to none. Our implementation partner is always available to us, and has gone above and beyond what I expected. **What do you dislike about BetterCloud?** I wish that BetterCloud would bring over some of the auditing features that exist in their "old" product, Flashpanel. **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Onboarding and offboarding. We have been able to significantly decrease the amount of time it takes to onboard employees, and ensure that our offboarding process is consistent. The benefit that we have gotten a lot of feedback on is notifications - managers and other stakeholders in the onboarding and offboarding processes get notified when a workflow has completed. This allows managers to proactively get their new hire set up with calendar invites, share important files, etc so their employees are ready to hit the ground running on day 1. ### 33. It automatically applies workflows to policies that have been setup to protect our Organization. Bettercloud provides an easy interface to manage standard signatures across our organization with different department's information and include hotlinks for donations, program registration or our latest award news press. It might be a small item but it impresses our President! **What do you dislike about BetterCloud?** We use GADS sync. I would like the ability to manually sync when necessary in between the automatic four hours. **Recommendations to others considering BetterCloud:** Bettercloud has helped in many areas of managing our users that is just in the the native suite. **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** The workflow creation has helped us immensely. I connected with our Support team to investigate why you may be facing delays within your Workflows. Overall, there are a variety of factors that are taken into consideration from the initial start to completion. For instance, we suggest different ways to structure workflows to make sure they are built in the most efficient way. One example would be to make sure the more complex Actions are the last steps in the Workflow (vs. some of the first) so the initial Actions can be completed quickly before moving onto the Actions that will require a longer period of time to complete. Additionally, please note that since we are making API calls, we are also working with various providers. Each provider that we connect with has different methods that allow us to pull information into BetterCloud.
