We used to have to send encrypted emails using another third party program. We would run into issues when we had to send large emails. x360Recover lets us setup a secure folder for our clients so we can upload/download information securely without file size limits. **What do you dislike about Axcient x360Recover?** It would be nice if it could send a periodic status of the synchronization. It can do that with a report, but that is an extra step of opening the report and reading it. I recognize every technician that logs in to check on my tickets. Also, I appreciate that Axcient is willing to work with my unique communications needs as I am deaf, and do not use audio products. The techs and I communicate via chat session while working on projects together. My favorite part is probably that they are always willing to share how they solved issues so that I am enabled to solve these same issues at a future time without requiring support. **What do you dislike about Axcient x360Recover?** My current biggest disappointment is that there does not seem to be a hardware refresh package. When I came onboard as a partner I brought a bunch of clients with me that all needed backup appliances immediately. That was a few years ago, and now there are a big number of them running appliances that are out of warranty and there is no easy upgrade path. Some incentives would be a great asset for us to stay on top of their hardware refreshes, to ensure that all clients' appliances stay under warranty. Also, please offer 5 year warranties- that is our standard for all servers we sell our clients, it would be really nice if Axcient has that ability to extend warranties beyond 3 years. **What problems is Axcient x360Recover solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use x360Recover to protect our clients' data... Compared to other competing products that we also use- Veeam for example, the X360Recover offers much more flexibility and options over a Veeam Backup & Replication install that still needs a bunch of add-ons and plug-ins to be equal to the offerings of a stock X360Recover install, which quickly becomes cost-prohibitive for a lot of clients. ### 39. This allows us to control costs and not charge our clients for hardware that while is great hardware, is overkill for their needs. **What do you dislike about Axcient x360Recover?** It's not able to be used on an ESXI Host to do a full backup of the virtualized systems. It can backup virtualized systems as though they were physical, but not through the VMware host. Which in rare cases for us, means we can't get a direct snapshot of unix hosts as axcient is Windows only. There are work arounds that do the job, but directly having the snapshots backing up through the ESXI host would be a benefit on those systems. **Recommendations to others considering Axcient x360Recover:** Fantastic way to keep costs in check while getting a great backup system in place. The fact that it is a hardened Linux system is a huge plus, and keeps it sandboxed from other systems fairly well. **What problems is Axcient x360Recover solving and how is that benefiting you?** Axcient fits our pricing model, they're not overly complicated and their support is great! If you need support right away, they'll have someone to you within an hour or less, and sometimes immediately. They also allow us to choose between their data center and ours for each system we back up, so depending on a client's needs we can use their unlimited data center, or use our existing datacenter. ### 40. Not as great of support compared to the BRC team. The process to convert back from D2C back to the hybrid ( appliance to the cloud) backup. It would be nice to have an equally simple solution for our Mac Users. I t would be nice if we could more easily edit customer names as well. **What problems is Axcient x360Recover solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a solution that would allow us to backup multiple versions of data and retain these versions over a longer period of time, say, 1 year, to help protect against ransomware and user errors (accidental deletion or changing of files). An automated cloud backup system also helps make sure backups occur regularly, and daily health digests help make sure that we know that they are working well. ### 49. The central management console that provides a single pane of glass is also a great feature, it allows us to see the status of all our protected systems, backup devices, replication vaults, and any issues in one quick glance which is great for our techs who manage our backups. **What do you dislike about Axcient x360Recover?** Recovery speeds when having to download large disk images can be slow and occasionally fail as it is browser based, same issue occurs when trying to navigate through large folder structures in the backup if looking for a small subset of data to restore, but it has never precluded us from restoring. **What problems is Axcient x360Recover solving and how is that benefiting you?** X360 Recover has been great for centralizing our backups on a single platform that we know works and that we can trust. It provides us one product to backup desktops, servers, laptops, VMs in a public cloud, instead of relying on multiple products. We have an easy way to test disaster recovery with playbooks and virtual office which provides us peace of mind that our backups work and will be recoverable when we need them most. ### 50. For example the ability to run a backup that was missed once a pc comes online. I also would like the ability to restore a file from the web directly to the users computer.
