Sometimes I do have issues locating KB articles when I receive an error code for an appliance. However, I have had excellent experiences with Axcient support. Every single day I use the vault portal centralizes administration, integration of agents with our RMM allow immediate deployments for on boarding and implementation, and the support ticket platform with chat support. Anytime I need additional information on the products, scheduling training is quick and efficient. As the lead technician for NOC responsibilities, I constantly push for our clients to be migrated to using X360 Recover! **What do you dislike about Axcient x360Recover?** The only downsides I have found is, the API duplicating tickets for the device because of the seperation of the vault and client details, and the reports breakdown for client information would be helpful when comparing billing. The implementation is easy and customer support is great. I used this product each day. This product integrates easily into any environment. **What do you dislike about Axcient x360Recover?** When I mount a volume I wish I could just copy and paste files add opposed to just downloading a zip file. The information can be confusing and limiting without support's clarification, and assistance. Support has been open to explaining and assisting ways to work through the issue we are experiencing. **What problems is Axcient x360Recover solving and how is that benefiting you?** When onboarding a new client, we were not informed of the limitations of the internet and of their present backups at several of their locations. A completely different solution was proposed to resolve the issue, and the other backup company was unable to assist at this time. x360Recover solved the need for a backup that would be cost-effective until new hardware and network issues are able to be addressed. This solutions solved the critical need for resolution for a bdr that was also cost-effective. ### 39. We have tested the BDR in a sandbox enviroment and have been pleasently surprized with the performace. The REAL test happened when our clients server crashed unexpected. Within 20 minutes the customer was rolling as if nothing happened. **What do you dislike about Axcient x360Recover?** The Axcient device itself is Linux based kernal. Some of our technicans had trouble using Linux command line information. They are very helpful and will walk you through a restore process to get the customer up and running in as little time as possible, ### 40. The auto-verify VM feature saves time. Runbooks are very helpful. Customer service/support is always engaged when a ticket is opened. **What do you dislike about Axcient x360Recover?** Constant backup errors that are difficult to understand and troubleshoot without intervention from support and it always requires running an analysis that can never be performed properly in the portal (protected system); we must always perform this manually and then upload to the ticket in the portal, however, we have to split the recovery zip file into multiple files because their ticket system online only accepts files up to 20MB. Default backup policies cannot be assigned for each customer (only a single global policy can be assigned). Exported job reports don't include error details. Saving to a local network storage device is tricky and requires manual configuration of the configuration file on each machine you are backing up in order to prevent running out of space on the local NAS. **What problems is Axcient x360Recover solving and how is that benefiting you?** Axcient is providing a multi-tenant environment allowing us to store and view backups in the cloud for all of our customers. Although there are other means to restore from backup, the cache is the most quick and effective way to do it. Its simple to setup. But its expensive in my opinion. To have it onsite you must by an appliance, which are fair priced. Still, there will be an investment. But you can spin up your virtual office in the cloud in a DR scenario, which is nice. **What do you dislike about Axcient x360Recover?** The UI is not very good. It takes a million clicks to get what you want. The labels don't make sense. I end up going in a loop all the time looking for what I want. You also need to go onto the server to actually get the error. You cannot jsut retry backups like you can in say Veeam. **What problems is Axcient x360Recover solving and how is that benefiting you?** Backup, DR, and HA. Benifits by giving me the peice of mind that my servers are protected and available in the cloud should something happen to our premises. Thats all. ### 43. Axcient x360 is by far the best. I personally backup to the local BDR every 4 hours (can be up to 15 minutes) and sync to the cloud vault nightly. I love how easy it is to recover individual documents from an explorer like menu, but the ability to spin up a VM from the BDR in the case of an emergency outage is a great feature. **What do you dislike about Axcient x360Recover?** On the down-side, the backend systems could interface better. If you drop a client, you will need to remove the client from multiple locations to ensure that you no longer get billed. I would think that removing the client from the licensing portal should be enough ,then interface with billing, etc ... **What problems is Axcient x360Recover solving and how is that benefiting you?** Axcient x360 is a very nice backup and disaster recovery service.
