# Which IBM consulting partners bring named specialists rather than rotating staff through an engagement?

IBM Consulting (4.0/5, 65 reviews) gets credit for deep expertise, but reviews are candid that staff quality varies across the org, with some specifically advising to be selective about who gets assigned to your account.

Adastra (4.9/5, 18 reviews) has reviews describing a dedicated, integrated team carried through an engagement, from initial analysis through implementation and testing, rather than a rotating cast. Structured Level 1 and Level 2 support that stays consistent as scope expands comes up specifically.

Tata Consultancy Services (4.3/5, 38 reviews) is praised for domain expertise and service quality, but a recurring theme in reviews is communication breakdowns during critical project phases, which reviewers tie to work being spread across teams in different countries rather than a single named point of contact.

I’d make staffing continuity something contractual rather than relying on the team presented during the sales process. Named key personnel, approval before substitutions, and a documented knowledge-transfer period would matter more to me than simply being promised a “dedicated team.” For a multi-year engagement, some turnover is inevitable; the real test is whether expertise leaves the account every time a person does.
