Allows access control and security for my company in whatever way we want... phone-only, cards, fobs, remote access, guest access, etc. We use cameras for both security and intercom functionality. We rolled it out for our school district this summer and it has been a great tool that we use every day. Implementing schedules, groups, and security functions has been very straightforward. Easy to have an app on my phone rather than a keycard (that I'd probably forget at home) to get into my office building. It's super simple to get set-up and rolling on your first day of work! The only thing I dislike is that in order to use the wave function to unlock doors, you have to have bluetooth and location services "Always On" (which can drain your phone battery). It tracks where you are and how many times you've used Openpath in the past. Earlier, we used to carry our badges everywhere in our office and hit on the locks to get access. I am so glad that my company implemented Openpath. One of the best features of the open path is that it provides access through proximity sensors on my mobile phone, and I no longer have to carry the badges in my hand. Although it is feature rich and super practical, I am yet to find a solution to access my office door in case of my phone’s battery drainage.
